After some beginning exercises, you get to pick whatever you want to paint. I have never seen anyone leave with a bad painting. I don't even know how Tom does what he does, but he manages to coax the best out of every student. I've been going for three years now. I had never taken painting lessons before. I'm always surprised by how good my paintings look. My classmates have all created really excellent work. Some of my fellow students are art teachers. Some are art students putting together portfolios. Most of us are just hobbyists. The classes are de-stressing and fun. They always go too fast, even though they are 3 hours. I highly recommend these classes for anyone who has ever wanted to paint. I can't speak for the other classes, but there other types of art taught like sculpture and fashion design. The work I've seen from those students is really terrific too. I'm no Monet, but I've included three photos of my work so you can see what to expect in the way of results. The museum is reasonably priced and a great size. While it's not huge, there's plenty to keep children engaged. We've been visiting every two to three months for the past two years, and it's been fun seeing some of the recent upgrades they've made. The space is open and thoughtfully divided into different themed areas. Kids can enjoy a slide, a music and movement section, a grocery store and kitchen play area, a large swing, a few simple video games, painting stations, and several daily craft activities. They've also recently added a pretend garden where children can "plant" flowers, which is such a cute interactive feature. There are playful activities scattered throughout the museum, so there's always something new to discover. Everything is designed to encourage creativity, hands-on learning, and imaginative play. My four-year-old nephew absolutely loves coming here, and we've been bringing him since he was two years old. It's one of our favorite local outings. One thing I also appreciate is that it never feels overly crowded, although we usually visit during the week. The staff are consistently friendly and welcoming, and they're especially helpful in the craft areas, where they're always encouraging and willing to assist the kids with their projects. Overall, I highly recommend Young At Art for families with young children. It's a fun, creative, and educational experience that keeps us coming back again and again.

Some of the mixers were pre-poured, and others we poured ourselves. The instructors walked us through the entire process, even how to properly shake a shaker. I didn't think we'd need an in-depth tutorial on that, but we definitely did because spills happen. Lol. The drinks were very tasty. I do wish there had been a bit more instruction on adjusting sweetness levels. They offer different classes at the studio, including candle-making, body butter, perfume, and mixology classes. Jasmin walks your through every step and gives you ideas. You can pick between a cutting board, serving tray, coasters, or a large letter. We chose cutting f boards and you can even have it engraved. That speaks volumes, hopefully, to someone reading this review I take it very seriously when I take the time out of my day to say something it is because someone has done something exceptional. In this case it was exceptionally bad. I arrived at the class 15 minutes late admittedly, I cannot control bridge traffic in a boating city, however, I did leave a message on the way explaining the situation while I was pulled over, and I did arrive within the grace period with my daughter who is eager to learn pottery after knocking on a window for about 5 to 7 minutes a very rude woman told us the opportunity had passed, and we could email someone on the website without any further information and then lock the door in my face. While she was locking the door dramatically, I asked for her name or for an email so that I could get refunded for the $175. She ignored me made several faces and continue to fumble with a very simple top lock. The only point she made was that I should call ahead of going to any classes with my daughter before leaving the impression of negativity. I'm ashamed of myself for booking this class. . zero stars.
