Being in the process of finding work I did not have medical coverage. They took me in as soon as they could (6 weeks pregnant) we were treated by extremely welcoming staff. Filled out paper work, the facility itself is very clean and beautiful. I was given a free pregnancy test and ultra sound as well as a welcome packet which included a ton of information for becoming a new mommy, birth, financial help. They went as far as letting us know if in financial hardship would assist would formula and diapers. Although I will not continue to go (as I have insurance now) this is a wonderful place for those in need.

If you show they that you have any signs of keeping the pregnancy they will pretty much dismiss you immediately. On the phone they told me I can come in for a pregnancy test and then get an ultrasound if the dating makes sense. Even in the beginning of the appointment they knew I was undecided and said they'll help me get an ultrasound TODAY but as they saw that I seem more comfortable keeping the baby they made up some lies like "ultrasound technician is not around today so we can schedule you for another time". Then I said ok schedule me for another time. Then they said "you should go to your OB we can't schedule you". Which is complete BS because they only want you to see baby and hear heartbeat if you are seriously leaning towards an abortion in the hopes may change your mind. My husband and I took time off work to take a 45 minute trip to the area and we got absolutely nothing out of it. It was extremely unprofessional the way they handled the situation. We are not dumb. It was so obvious they decided in the middle of the appointment they didn't want to give us the ultrasound even though we are eligible based on the dates. If they truly were willing to help everyone, they would have at least tried to book me for an ultrasound another day. Their refusal to do that shows clearly that they have no interest in helping us and just completely wasted our time and added a lot of stress for us in the middle of a difficult time. Now walking out of this clinic we are still unsure and don't know what to do next. It just reminds me how much crap pregnant women go through in finding healthcare and how much I have to go through if I decide to continue this pregnancy. This place is very dishonest and not helpful. They say one thing in the beginning of the appointment and change it and then try to cover up their own lies. They sell themselves as a faith based organization that helps everyone but it's very unchristian to be so dishonest like that. They were not busy at all as I was the only patient there they could have easily taken me in for an ultrasound but they just decided to leave me hanging. I cannot book an appointment with my OB until much later. Doing something like this just results in more and more people end up doing late term abortions because they don't have the information they need early on. Planned parenthood is much more honest and transparent with their process. They made it clear they do ultrasounds for patients looking to get medical abortion so you know exactly what you are getting without wasting your time.

They have next day availability and told me he would do a "pre-abortion work up" and an ultrasound. He also said that if my friend was infected, they would treat that first because some treatments could make an infection spread. I don't know what he was talking about. He said that their office in Queens was across from a medical office that provides abortions, but he said that they don't have an official relationship with that place. The call skeeved me out. I would NOT go there.
