Replacing it was challenging ( we visited and obtained estimates from several other places) but Lawn and Leisure of 103 Douglas Court, Sterling, Va brought us warm joy with a new Regency Gas Fireplace. T.C. was our salesman and helped by personalizing the entire process. We were given many pointers that led to success. Our fireplace was delivered in ten days while other stores said it would take several months to make delivery. T.C. recommended Dulles Solid Construction, owned by Gary Pulino as the contractor and he and his team exceeded all expectations. No detail was ovelooked and recommendations were spot on! This made the many decisions of mantel, surround stone, hearthstone and fireplace height easier. Since our gas fireplace was direct vent, siding had to be removed outside and all inside bricks removed with skill. The finished product is beautiful and all stonework installed to perfection. He priced two of the Hallmark series saunas for me that day. After perusing the catalog I decided on the Hallmark 46. I took another road trip to place the order with Kim. She couldn't have been more pleasant. She was honest and let me know the saunas were back ordered and when I could expect a delivery. I had a few questions from the electrician and sent emails to Kim. She answered all of the questions promptly. I was pleasantly surprised when my sauna was delivered early. (Posting for my mom who recently got a container.)…read more I don't know how this business hasn't been rated on Yelp yet... THEY ARE AWESOME. I found them through an ad on Craigslist. Although they are located in Maryland, we are located in Pennsylvania and needed a container in Huntingdon County... Still close enough to the border that delivery was reasonable. And as an extra bonus, with an out of state purchase, the PA taxes don't apply. I checked them out as well as some other local companies where you could visit the lot and choose which one you get if you've got the time. The container and delivery was cheaper than some other in-state places I checked, and I was not interested in working with big companies like Container One or their middle men after reading horror stories. Communication was OUTSTANDING from start to finish. It is family and veteran owned and run, and it shows. They were competent, courteous, and had integrity. They listen to your needs and take that into account. They hold to their pricing, and they followed through with what they promised. Very straightforward. There was one potential hiccup with one of the third party haulers they partnered with for my particular situation, but Q3 was ready and willing to make up for that themselves if needed (and it ended up not happening and wasn't necessary). We were always informed in advance of how things were going with delivery times and weren't left guessing if the guy would show up... We knew in advance when the delivery would happen and were informed when the delivery had actually left and was headed our way. Full payment was due upon delivery, so we did not have to pay fully for the container with delivery until it was actually delivered. So, there was no risk of bait and switch after they take your money like I read about with some experiences with Container One. That's accountability. And when it was delivered, everything went well. The delivery guy was very nice and went out of his way to make sure it was done just as we wanted it. Overall, I was very grateful to find that Craigslist ad. If you are looking to buy a container, I would strongly recommend Q3 without hesitation. We were extremely pleased, and I can't imagine getting better service than this. If we ever need another, this would be our first option.
