I've picked up tomatoes there, onions, cucumbers, corn, and the last time I went I got a frozen four park of raw hamburger patties. They also have a wide array of jams, preserves, and pickled goods. Customer service has been efficient. The market itself is not huge at all, but they make ample use of the space. Like I said, outside of the weirdly expensive breads/rolls I think their prices are generally fair. And it's on the way to and from my ceramics class which is super convenient. I love the fact that you could sample the different types inside the tent. I would often buy honeysticks to share at my job, always buy a jar of Killer Bee Honey, and try another flavor just because. After recently relocating to the Frederick County area, I was excited to find out that The Bee Folks is located in Mount Airy, only 20 minutes or so away! Unfortunately with COVID-19, the fair has been cancelled this year and with everyone staying in the house, I found myself without honey. I was able to easily make an online order and Lori quickly e-mailed me back to let me know my order was ready for pick up. Even though we got there early and no one was there, Lori responded to my e-mail and allowed my boyfriend to enter the store (of course with his mask on) and grab the bag. As always, the quality of this honey is amazing and I am so glad to have it again! I think something happened before. Regardless, I don't have a dog and it doesn't affect me. What matters is the ice cream. They get the milk from Guernsey cows which you can visit at certain times. The milk is super creamy. As a result, the ice cream is thicker and creamier than others. I like their creamy flavor if you like plain. They circulate flavors and recently tried their strawberry which has chunks of strawberry and has a nice flavor profile. They are right off the road so easy access. They have picnic benches all around and a playground for kids. Certain times in Spring/Summer, there's a flower field to look at. The service is good. Never had problems. The inside is rustic and simple. The main thing is to get the ice cream which is worth it in my opinion. It is a farther drive for me, but the quality doesn't compare. We had tried a lot of places near by and we still find this one as the superior one.
