Garage door spring broke right before vacation. Made it out with a bruised luggage rack and no antenna . Tried to forget about the whole incident and deal with it when we got home. I put out a request using yelp, and one person responded who actually addressed the spring problem, and my added concern about the seal in need of replacement. Cheyenne was the one person who took the time to respond to my request fully, so I chose him. Estimate for spring was on par with other responders, but he also included estimate for the rubber seal so I knew fully what to expect, and I was pleased by that. Unexpected expenses are never pleasant, by Meyers garage doors responded fully, worked to set up a time via text, showed up on time and masked and totally respectful to my home and time, and did the job efficiently and fully. Cheyenne talked to me about my issues, solved them, and explained some extra time that time that he took to inspect and adjust the settings on the opener. When our garage door suddenly stopped working the other night, we didn't know who to call in the Pickerington area. So we hopped on Yelp and found Myers Garage Door. Cheyenne was prompt, knowledgeable and friendly. He provided us options that we could do to fix our issue at a reasonable price. The opener we agreed on was back ordered and Cheyenne called us right away to offer an alternative that would save us a little money. It was nice to work with a honest professional who could have just ordered the lower priced model, installed it, and not told us, charging us the originally agreed upon price, but Cheyenne didn't. We have a very large, older garage door that just stopped working one day. The first chain company that we called quoted us $200 for new springs, then arrived at house to tweak their estimate to $560! We called Myers Garage Door the next day. Cheyenne was able to make it out that same day. He was very honest and told us that we did not even need new springs. He tuned up and reset our system, changed a bad hinge, and it is working like a charm at a small fraction of what we were told we would need to pay. Had been having some garage door trouble for a couple weeks, and finally decided to give Myers Door a call. I thought maybe I would need a new opener, or springs, or sensors, I had no idea. Myers Garage was amazing. Our garage door was squealing/screeching when it opened and closed. I was worried that the repair guy would just lube it up, but he identified that the stress was due to the height at which the opener was installed. He also identified a couple other problem areas and found that the sensors were installed on the ceiling?? He quickly and cheaply corrected the mistakes and was very friendly and professional.
