Two weeks ago I had surgery to correct this issue and was back for my follow up exam. Dr Marrow is very thorough and I am confident that I will be able to see clearly again. After my exam I was ready to head to Walmart for glasses because we all know they cost a lot more at the optometrists right? They convinced me to just look around and price out while I was there and see what I could get. Bree was a fun and knowledgeable shopping partner and we tried on numerous frames and talked about the pros and cons of each of them. She had me feeling like I was shopping with a close friend instead of an employee of the office. Finally I found a frame I really liked and we sat down to talk price. i was still planning on heading to Walmart because I was sure it would be higher than I was able to go, but I did have fun. I discovered that the entire pair, with better lenses and all of the coatings was actually LESS than what I had paid in June for my bottom of the line, get me through until after surgery, glasses at Walmart. Nearly $100 dollars cheaper. I am so excited about my purchase! Now the big downside about purchasing glasses at Dr Tavel's . At Lens Crafters or eyeglass World my glasses would have been ready by tomorrow. At Walmart it would take a week, but at Dr Tavels they said it will take an unbelievable 4 weeks. I almost backed out because of it. The only reason I didn't is I really do love the frames and the price was so good. I will update this if it takes even longer than that, and probably lower the star rating to reflect it.

My favorite part was the eye scan. Pretty interesting to see the inside of your eye and Dr. Warthman was very informative regarding what exactly we were looking at and looking for (defects/abnormalities in the eye). Costs are pretty normal EXCEPT he offers a really decent selection of plastic frames for $49. This I have never experienced before and I thought was really cool. Of course, some look cheaper than others but some are also pretty sophisticated for only $49. He also has a vast designer selection and offers Safety and Sun glasses, too. Pretty sure I will be sticking with this place!

This is for there online shopping I went to order something it said there was one left in stock so…read moreI ordered it yesterday 4/11/26 and on the day it was supposed to be delivered 4/12/26 I got a notification that they canceled my order because they where out of stock and will refund my money in 10 business days so I call there 800 number for customer service and told them about it and that they need to do a better job of keeping the inventory up to date on their website better so people won't get screwed out of their money for days if it said out of stock I wouldn't of ordered it have have gone somewhere else to purchase this item that I need to do my job so now I have to wait 10 business days to to be able to do my job but Walmart doesn't care about us small people I will never shop at a Walmart store or their online service again
