Always willing to help. My husband got progressives for the first time ever and he loved them. The insurance covered this pair and we wanted to order him another. It was over $500 for us to pay for it. I told them we had a relative in the business and asked if she would give us the distance between the pupils and not only did she do that, she even marked the distance on the top to bottom for us to get them made from another place. Thats how you keep business coming back. We will always go here. I had an issue with my glasses and I brought them in and they are remaking them right now. There was a hiccup with my appt to get the glasses remade, but they were so apologetic and friendly it was OK. A simple mistake. Great team here

They fixed them with a new arm on one side that is really close to matching. I was really impressed. No one tried to upsell me or did a bait and switch on the prices of the frame. About 3 months ago in a last ditch effort to contact the Dr and not have to file a theft report with the sheriffs office in order to get my money back, I left a negative review on google. low and behold I get a reply to my review saying to be patient he was in the hospital. so I waited. at this point I find it hard to believe he has been in the hospital for a year. and even so if he has it's still his responsibility to have an employee or family member reach out to the patients and fill them in. I've been going to Eyeglass World for years but after today I won't be going back. The exam part…read morewas fine but after I selected 2 pairs of frames to purchase with my new prescription, I told the person attending me that I wanted all the same things I had gotten previously and she quoted me over $1200 dollars and $45 for my exam. I told her that seemed awfully high even after my 10% military discount which she didn't seem happy about me mentioning. She told me one pair wasn't eligible for any discount as they were safety glasses. I showed her a card I received in the mail and she told me I wasn't eligible for it. I told her I would be paying for the exam and wouldn't be purchasing any glasses. I also told her with my insurance last time I only had to pay $19 for exam. She told me the eye x ray was an additional $20 which at my ophthalmologist was covered by my health insurance. She deducted that and told me I owed $20. I feel like I was being ripped off today. Why do I even have to ask why I was being charged so much higher than last time. My insurance was the same as before and with me going there for many years I was treated horribly. It was just a horrible experience overall and no reason was given to me as why she couldn't or wouldn't assist me in getting a fair price, she didn't even try. Like I said the last time I was there the young man who assisted me when out of his way to help me get a fair and reasonable price but this time I felt like they don't care anymore and that will be their future downfall.

I should start out by saying shame on me for not writing a review of Community Eye Care earlier ! We have been going to them for well over a decade now, excluding the years when we were forced to stop seeing them due to our health insurance company deciding not to include them among our list of accepted providers for some reason. Fortunately things changed after a few years and we could start seeing our favorite optometrist and his staff again :) .. while the staff working underneath the optometrist has changed over the years their commitment to excellent, caring customer service hasn't - always a pleasant experience going in there both with the optometrist and his staff and of course we're very happy with the glasses we've purchased from them over the years... My wife, daughter, son and myself all purchase our glasses from him and will continue to do so for a very long time :)
