At this point Dr binning is a criminal. I went LAST JAN for my yearly appointment. I ordered glasses and contacts like I always do. I pre paid for them like I always do (I've been going to him for almost a decade). Doc said it could take up to 8 weeks for the order to come in due to back orders with the contacts, no problem. About 10 weeks later I start making calls and nothing. I have been consistent in calling and even the voicemail became full. About 3 months ago in a last ditch effort to contact the Dr and not have to file a theft report with the sheriffs office in order to get my money back, I left a negative review on google. low and behold I get a reply to my review saying to be patient he was in the hospital. so I waited. at this point I find it hard to believe he has been in the hospital for a year. and even so if he has it's still his responsibility to have an employee or family member reach out to the patients and fill them in. This place has such great customer service. The Doc was super easy going. Everyone was masked up but did not make a big deal if customers were. The Doc gave me an eye exam and was soooo thorough and attentive. I got progressives for the first time and they took the time to explain and educate me on all my options. He stole my daughters contacts! We went there for her yearly exam. We ordered and payed in FULL for her contacts. We were told he would mail them to her at school. HE IS GONE! We've called over 25 times and left messages. NO RETURN CALLS. No contacts and now my daughter has to pay for a new exam and more contacts. I will fill out a fraud report with my bank to get the money back, but my poor college daughter now has to spend her money on an eye exam and contacts. THIS GUY SUCKS! He is informative, knowledgeable accommodating and empathic. he is also quick and thorough when he does his exams. we even left and went to another at the last minute because my daughter ran out of contacts and needed them immediately and we have regretted it ever since. The Dr. Smells like liquor and the middle aged woman who I think is the office manager is the worst human I've encountered in some time. I SO wish I could call her the name that begins with a C that I want to call her. DO NOT BOTHER WITH THIS PLACE. The carpet is disgusting and needs to be replaced. They have paint "swatches" on the wall..with, apparently, no plans to pick a color and actually paint. This is a medical office?? They will delay your order. They will "forget" to document, fax, submit etc. and screw you over with your insurance company. Then, they will blame it on anything but their incompetence. They will blame you. They will argue with you. They will talk over you and hang up the phone on you. Horrible. 100% horrible. I don't know how they're still in business. read more

Dr. Binning is awesome. I've been to a couple other local eye doctors whose personalities were less than desired but he always has a smile on his face and strikes up conversation. They accept most insurance as far as a I know and have a wide selection of eyeglasses, however; not Oakley . Definitely recommend. read more

My son scraped his cornea while in playing in preschool and I took my soon to Dr. Binning and in no time my son was seen and treated. As far as the doctor is concerned, I have no opinion, as we've never met. From reading other opinions, he sounds like a winner. I DID however, have such a negative impression of his office manager, Nicole, today that I told her I didn't WANT her business and left! That's how bad it was. I had dropped by to introduce myself and give her a sample of an eyeglass cleaner that I've sold for the past 15 years. I am a seasoned sales agent as who has been in the optical field for nearly 30 years---both as an owner of my own wholesale optical company for the entire time, as well as as a sales rep for both frames and high quality optical cleaner. The measure, in my opinion, of how to rate a doctor's office is not how they treat their patients (Of course they will always be nice patients because they NEED patients--they are their bread and butter)--but how they treat others who aren't patients. How they deal with others BEHIND the scenes out of the earshot their patients is a testament as to their character and of whether or not they are deserving of ones hard earned dollars. If an office manager or any employee, for that matter, can't exhibit the Golden Rule to everyone who enters their establishment, then that business doesn't deserve anyone's business. Period. Today, I met Nicole, this establishment's office manager. I left upset, insulted, and mind-blown with what I consider this woman's gross incompetence. I tell you it's scary. She was arrogant, smug and demeaning but what makes it so ironic-- is that she has no earthly idea about that which she was talking, let alone what harm she is might be doing to her patients' lenses. Trust me, I don't say that lightly, but it is common knowledge amongst professionals in the optical industry that one should NEVER EVER apply alcohol or ammonia to clean ones lenses--as doing so can potentially damage the coatings on them. She's got it reversed and is clueless. When I offered her a sample of the optical cleaner which I've sold to hundreds, and I do mean hundreds, of optical and optometry and ophthalmology offices NEVER ONCE ever having received a complaint about its quality or efficacy (in fact, it's the best quality cleaner I've ever seen since I started in the industry in 1986) she announced emphatically that she "wouldn't have a cleaner that didn't contain alcohol." To my horror this holier-than-thou incompetent one insisted that she wanted a cleaner WITH alcohol! OMG! Then she smugly and sarcastically insisted I provide her with proprietary information as to the components of the product--which no one has ever asked for in the past 15 years. Because I didn't know, but offered to try to find out, she began to belittle me! I'd had it. I simply told her I wasn't interested in her business and left. And to think, this misinformed, incompetent one is managing this optical! I say Patient/Buyer Beware. This fool has no business touching anyone's lenses! I feel badly for the poor doctor. He's back there asking "Which is better one or two?" and he probably has no idea as to how poorly his office manager is managing up front. read more

I have been going to Dr Binning for years and I haven't switch since. Staff is friendly and genuine.

The absolute worst experience ever two years in a row have had to call and complain to the insurance company because they lie about delivery dates for contacts they never call you back when they say they will and the doctor seems to be out of town every time there's an issue the people cannot look up and Order date or an expected date insane will never use again! Only reason use twice is because their prescriptions are good for 2 years unlike other doctors which are only good for one. Front desk staff is not knowledgeable about dates products or any other thing for that matter. Doctor was fine but normally you won't deal with him. read more
