Although I use yelp often, I don't write many reviews. However, my work over the last six months with Myke has been so life-changing that I feel compelled to share my story. I'm a 29 year old personal trainer and entrepreneur, albeit mostly a personal trainer at the time of meeting Myke. At the end of last year my wife accepted a job in San Diego, which is requiring us to move in a few months, and I was stressed out about losing my clientele of 6+ years. (As a side note I have also struggled with considerable depression and anger/stress management for the last 10 years). With a move away from the comforts of my rather large client list, turning 30 in a profession that I fell into, and unable to deal with anxiety/stress without turning to intoxicants, I knew I needed professional help. My wife is a therapist, and I tried therapy for 6 months, but Myke is more than a therapist. Although he's extremely professional, he talks to you more like a friend rather than a client. I specifically wanted a life coach over a therapist, as I thought a life coach would be more proactive in their approach to helping me. 6 months later, I've got 140 pages of a handwritten journal/notes, I meditate 2-3x/day, my stress is completely manageable (without alcohol/marijuana/CBD) and I view it as positive, my once constant anxiety about the future is now laughable, my relationship with my wife is at an all time high, and I've started 2 new companies (that look extremely promising) that I used to be too scared and overwhelmed to form. I've committed to working with Myke for another 6 months, but I really don't see myself discontinuing. He provides so much value to my life, that after rent, his sessions are my next financial priority. Just from the work I've done in the first 6 months I'll more than be able to pay for his services for the foreseeable future, so in a sense he's paid for himself by getting the best out of me. If you are reading this review it means you, like me, are looking for someone to help you in some regard. There isn't someone I'd recommend more for anything than Myke to be a guiding light in your life. I had my first visit with Myke for a Master Session less than a week ago. There are no words for the changes I have witnessed in myself. The moment I left I had a sense of calmness.
