I would start and stop, get going then pause, I even took days off work to get through it, but no progress was made. Honestly I was way to busy to put in the mental effort and actual time to get this done. For context I did a small remodel and there was a lot of items relocated to the guest room and garage to create room and they never made it back to their spaces or out of the house. I finally realized I needed help so I looked around online and found Two Organized. From jump (compared to the other companies I contacted) they were on top of what I needed, they offered me options, they did a free in person walkthrough so I could explain what I was looking for, estimates and contract finalization was easy, and scheduling during the holiday season was handled amazingly. My schedule was crazy and changing frequently and they were so gracious with the changes! They were very clear about what to expect and what I needed to be available for. My part (separating things into keep/donate/trash) was done in about 1-2 hours for the garage and 1 hour for the guest room. The rest was all Tatyana and Svetlana! The system they organized my items into is super easy to follow, everything is labeled, its just so beautiful and peaceful. Seriously the quality of my life has improved so much being able to use my guestroom without a thought, both closets organized and clearly visible. Simply walking into a clean garage to do laundry or work on a project is so much easier than navigating the cluttered and cramped space I was operating in before.

This was our first time designing and having a new closet installed in our new home. We got quotes…read morefrom a couple companies and ultimately decided for $1500 more to go with California Closet since it's a "reputable" brand and they stand by their "quality." The white glove service was hyped up so much before the install and what we received was nothing close. We got our new system installed on 4/15 and we quickly realized there were a ton of issues with it. There were chipped shelves, the support beams for the backing weren't even cut and installed properly. The backing wasn't attached to the wall fully, some of the rods were scratched, you can see the nail holes, the nail holes that were "patched" don't even have the correct color of caulk on them, and most importantly, the color of the system was completely wrong. We asked for a bright white color upon design and were given the classic white when we should have received dove. This is a mess up on the designers part for not understanding the difference between the classic white and dove - knowing that the dove is the brighter white. The dove color was never even given as an option. The designer also should have been able to recognize how bright our walls are and gone with or suggested the brighter white. When we had our shutters installed, the designer was well versed enough to understand that we needed a bright white with our house. Now when you walk into our closet, you can clearly tell it has a yellow and at times grey tone to it. The trim pieces that they put on are bright white so it sticks out like a sore thumb. Extremely unhappy with the install, the designer came back out and went over everything with us and brought back out the samples. We quickly realized we should have had dove instead of the classic white. We asked if they could make things right and install the system in the correct color and the GM said no because we signed a contract. How was I supposed to know the difference between the classic white and the dove if it wasn't explained to me or I wasn't given the option? There has been absolutely no accountability on anyone's part about that screw up. Second, regarding things that were scratched or chipped, it was just chalked up to it being shipping. I can understand that, but as a company, maybe you should wrap things up and ensure they don't get damaged during shipping. You also have no idea if that came from shipping or the installer not being careful. Third, there were no apologizes or sympathies for how the system was installed. The installer did a half ass job and I would expect this from a contractor on his first day of the job. Again, white glove service got hyped up so much and there were so many issues with it. We were told the system would be wiped down and instead I have scuff marks literally everywhere and I have a nice mark on my ceiling from their leveler. We wanted to have our laundry room redone and another closet and I will absolutely not being using California Closet for these projects considering their poor craftsmanship and not doing right by the customer. This also isn't our forever home so we most likely will want to do a closet system in our next home and guess who we're not calling. We had a few people who were thinking about getting their closets redone as well too and we won't be referring them to California Closet. I paid almost $8,000 for this system and it looks like crap. It almost would have been close to $10,000 for the system but because of a promo they had going on it was cheaper. I paid $8,000 for probably a $3,000 install. It looks awful and feels cheap. And if they screw something up, don't ever expect them to do anything to correct it. They'll just sit here and tell you it's the contract even though every single person we dealt with throughout this whole process has screwed up. They can't take accountability. Again, we have not received one apology or even a further discount. I hope after our service request we never have to deal with this company ever again. I wish I had gone and read the reviews here on Yelp before deciding to go with this company because it looks like I had the same issue as a lot of other people. After meeting Michael (who was awesome) and having him convince me they are competitive, I had him come to my home and we designed my perfect closet for my bedroom and office. Yes, they were 10% more than the budget quote I had received from a local company, but the closet is 100x more awesome. This made it difficult to understand how the charges were determined. While the tasks were eventually completed, the lack of punctuality, transparency, and communication left me disappointed.
