Bulgogi Rice in a Cup and Rose Ttoekbokki

Food was good, the portions were bigger than expected. I felt like the Rose Ttoekbokki could've been smaller for half the price because eating too much of that gets boring. The bulgogi rice was delicious! The service was just ok. It's your typical fast food service. I also like how they were handing out chicken samples at the front of the store. The ambiance could've been better. It was packed and there were no tables to sit at. I had to wait a bit for a table. It's a fast food kind of vibe. Food 7/10 Service 6/10 Ambiance 5/10

Stopped by here the last time I visited Square One.The food was great, my favourites were the Rose tteokbokki and the rice dog. The service was great - staff are friendly and the wait time was not too long (approx. 10 mins for all out food). We also had the chance to spin a wheel for a coupon since we spent over $20. There is seating space but it's a bit limited when it's busy (we weren't able to get a seat at the time we went). Luckily for us there were some spots available just outside in the general Food District area though :)

New location in Square One is amazing! It's a bit loud due to being in an open space, but the food is just as good as the restaurant locations! The thing I liked about this location the most was that the menu was very well thought out for a mall setting. It had take out vibes, but still the great prices. The service was really nice and they answered all the questions we had.

The meal combo was great and filling. It could have used more sauce in the spicy boneless chicken. Overall it was good and I would come back again. Service was good and there are plenty of seats inside.

The food has really great food! Hot and freshly prepared. Always add the green onion toppings to the at least one chicken. I prefer getting one saucy chicken and another dry. Tried Korean dog for the first time and it was very well done. A nice self-serve sauce station is available too. But this location is slow. Very busy and the kitchen can't keep up with orders at peak times. So expect long queues for food. They also don't have a loud speaker or visual sign to show orders ready to pick up -- so make sure you stand close to the kitchen or else you won't hear your order... The location inside the Food District at Square One is genius tho! Super central. It's an open concept and casual. Happy for this addition at the mall!

From left to right: plain, soy garlic, snow flavours

This MyMy is in the Food District at Square One, right by the entrance. You order at the registers and can actually dine in as they have a few tables here that are dedicated to the restaurant. They carry Korean fried chicken in a variety of sauces and dustings as well as Korean-style hot dogs. I ordered their combo box which was $20 for 2 flavours of boneless chicken in addition to a plain flavor, deep fried mozza ball, and fries. It sounds kind of expensive for a single meal but I have to admit my attempt at finishing it was kind of pathetic lol. The pieces of chicken are chunky! I probably ate half of it and left most of the fries. It was definitely good enough for 2 meals for me. For flavours, I had the soy garlic which was super yummy and the snow which was a honey butter flavor. My boyfriend was a bit sad that there wasn't a spicy flavor. However you can kind of customize additional sauces as the hot dog area has some sauces for you to use. I added honey mustard to my plain pieces. It was pretty busy when we went but we got our food in less than 10 minutes which I was impressed with.

    Honey garlic wings and fries

The store is located in the food district, it was quite busy for lunch on a friday. I ordered honey garlic wings. It was made fresh, came with 7 wings on a bed of fries. Delicious would come back again.

I'm loving the variety in the food district now, and you can never go wrong with korean fried chicken. This is my first time trying MyMy Chicken and decided to go with their combo box to try different flavours. It comes with original, 2 flavours of your choice, fries, and a cheeseball for 20 dollars. I thought that was a fair price, and the portion was big enough to share with two people if you're not too hungry. I chose the honey garlic and soy sauce garlic and my two other flavours. We also ordered a half and half corn dog on the side as well. The chicken was tender and well seasoned, they looked like little nuggets, but it was a good amount of meat. I definitely preferred the honey garlic. The cheese ball to me had no cheese flavour at all, it was just a fried ball, and I'd rather an extra piece of chicken instead of the cheese ball. The corn dog was standard and had a good level of crisp to it. Overall, a good place to grab korean fried chicken when at the mall.

Walking in, we were greeted with a smile. The interior of the restaurant was spacious with a private feel since they had areas sectioned off from one another. We ordered the Japchae (5/5), Boneless Yangnyum Galbi (4/5), Pork Belly (4/5). Japchae was delicious with a hint of smokey flavour to it. The noodles were chewy and complemented well with the savoury flavours of bulgogi. The vegetables added a nice crunch to every bite. The mushrooms added a chewy and fun texture to the dish. Boneless Yangnyum Galbi was so tender. Its marinade was on the sweet side which we weren't really a fan of but we still enjoyed the dish. Pork Belly was also tender. It was thinly sliced which was quite a let down since we typically prefer pork belly sliced a bit thicker. The BBQ we ordered came with two bowls of rice and lettuce (non-refillable), ssamjang and sesame oil with black pepper and salt for dipping, and some side dishes that were refillable: kimchi, bean sprouts, cucumbers and sweet potato. The overall quality of the ingredients, especially the meats, were great. It was pretty telling how much the cooks enjoyed prepping and cooking the dishes. This place is on the pricier side which is reasonable for the quality of their food. The portions are also reasonable for their price-points. I'd come back on a special occasion and/or when I'm craving japchae. The servers we had were attentive, checking in every so often to clear our dishes and change our grills.

The meat was really flavourful and well-seasoned, and they've got a big variety of cuts to choose from. I also liked that they've also got veggie options and other sides that make the meal feel balanced. Service was great, the staff were super kind and really quick to help us out whenever we needed something. It's a little on the pricier side, but honestly that's pretty standard for Korean BBQ, and the quality here makes it worth it. Easily in my top 3 Korean BBQ spots in Mississauga.

And indeed it was. The place was quite crowded but we managed to snag a table in the middle of the restaurant. I quickly looked at the menu, but immediately I was drawn to the Bibimbap ("Comes with rice, vegetables and egg"), mostly because it had been a while since I'd eaten that venerable dish. It arrived fairly quickly after I ordered it and obviously I had to mix all the components together along with a small dish of the included gochujang. And yeah, it totally hit the spot. All the components were way above average and while I could've used a little more spice, I managed to inhale the whole thing in what had to be record time. My dining companion ate the soup for which the place is known and he was pretty much blown away, so it's a safe bet to say I'll be returning if only to try that for myself.

There are some booth tables and others are wooden tables in the middle. The banchan was just kimchi and yellow pickled radish. I prefer when they give a variety of little starters. I got a beef soup (bulgogi jjigae) which the broth ended up spicier than I wanted. I thought it should have been on the sweeter side. There are many other Korean dishes one can choose from, especially their popular large pork dumplings. Overall, it was a good experience with my friend.

I've never had a truly bad food/service experience here and in a city where everything is closed by 11 pm, I like that I can always rely on this place for a midnight craving (it's open till 2 am). I think I go back here time and again because this place fills a void in the types of restaurants available in the city. There aren't many late-night sit-down Korean restaurants so I inevitably find myself here. The corn cheese is something I get every time I go here. I really enjoy the salty and sweet combination! I also had the pollack soup for the first time (number 7 on the menu) and thought it was both fishy and spicy, which I really liked. While I certainly don't think you'll be disappointed with the food, I think it's pretty average as far as Korean food goes. I guess the one thing I will say is that I feel like they skimp out on their meat. I'll often order the bibimbap or some other similar rice and meat option and find myself with way too much rice and not enough meat.
