Dr. Jones and his staff are amazing. They are always professional, sweet and accommodating (especially when I injure myself and need an appointment STAT). I've been going to Dr. Jones for almost 4 months for neck, shoulder, and back pain. I have an occasional elbow or leg misalignment that he helps me out with as well. I use to go to see a chiropractor in Sugar Land, but it didn't help as much. I decided to give it another shot when I moved to Fort Worth. I was skeptical at first because I didn't feel much relief from my other chiropractor, but after seeing Dr. Jones, I felt the knots disappear and the felt pain relief the same day. What a huge difference it made for me! He placed me on a twice a week regimen, then once a week, then twice a week. Now I see him every 3 - 4 weeks to maintain my alignment so that I won't be in pain in the long-haul. He has also provided me with techniques to improve my posture and to stretch my neck on the job to prevent those knots from coming back so frequently. My husband just started seeing Dr. Jones as well. He has all sorts of back pain, knee pains, elbow, and hand pain. Dr. Jone's was able to provide him much relief. My husband was able to cut back on his anti-inflammatory medications quite a bit. He does take insurance. I've been going to Dr. Jones for several months now, working through the overall bi-products of osteoarthritis. I never realized how much arthritis in my knees from distance running and sports injuries in my youth and throughout the years would affect my entire body at an older age! Well, it did. I discovered it did affect a lot, and adding in the pain factor, I began seeking an idea as to how to handle what I found myself dealing with at an older age. My wife Chris saw an advertisement for Dr. Jones on Facebook one day this past summer and encouraged me to go, at least to "go and try him out". I am so glad I went! He is a great chiropractor, and he has helped me a lot. His office staff is wonderful. The office itself is situated in a very convenient location with easy access from all over Fort Worth (and easy to get to from all the Dallas Arlington Fort Worth metro). His hours have worked well for me, and I would think work probably work well for most folk. He has shown flexibility with scheduling too when I have needed it, and his scheduling time has been very reasonable, exceptional in fact, probably due to the longer hours he is in his office. I have to say this practice raises the bar for chiropractic offices in general. No longer, will I think of the corner office, slightly dismal, full of "injured" car wreck victims. From the moment I stepped foot into KC Core there was a sense of comfort, first coming from being greeted by Shannon at the front desk. She has a beautiful smile and her positive energy radiates throughout the office. Secondly, the waiting area physically accommodates individuals by offering overstuffed seating. It is a million times better than having to sit in the school type chairs at typical chiropractic offices. I came in for a laundry list of items. Pain from the base of my skull to the back of my leg/knee. I had gone to the ER being gold to take these pills. I went my PCP at the time and was told again, take these pills. Finally, I made the decision to seek out a chiropractor for my uncontrolled symptoms. During my first treatment I had a lot of anxiety but I went along with the treatment plan. I am so happy I did because I am feeling so much better. I know there will still be days that are rough but I dont even have to take over the counter pain medication now. If anyone is having pain and not getting relief from their PCP, at least consult with these guys. They are very knowledgeable and will make sure you understand what is going on with your body. I used to watch 2 1/2 men. One of the guys was a chiropractor. He was always teased about not being a real doctor, so I had preconceived notions about chiropractors, even though I had never been to one. Let me tell you, I was very wrong. Here's my story... in August 2017, I clocked out from work and I had this sudden pain in my back down through my thighs, all the way to my knees. It was muscles, joints and the worst burning sensation on my skin. I couldn't stand anything touching the area, not even my jeans. I went to my General Physician and he figured arthritis and he just blew it off. Went to another GP, and he said probably arthritis and he prescribed physical therapy. I spent so much time and thousands of dollars, with no results. Then to add to the problem, my knees and calves started doing the same thing. Ugh! The GP sent me to an osteopathic doctor, but she couldn't figure out what was wrong. She had me do x-rays, a spinal MRI and a Brain MRI and sent me to a neurologist. He did a neuropathy test. He concluded that I had a pinched nerve near the front of my hip. It would probably go away on its own and might even return from time to time. But it didn't explain my knees and calves. The problem with my knees and calves were very strange to me. I could walk fine, without any pain whatsoever. When I sat or lie down is when it was excruciating. I had extreme difficulty getting in the upright position. I was walking like I was 90 years old. By the time I got to the other side of the room, my legs were completely fine. I got very little sleep, every day. Went back to the GP and he had a blood test done. No arthritis. No vitamin D deficiency. He said I need more exercise. MORE EXERCISE! I spent all those months going to physical therapy, not to mention that I walk approximately 20 miles a day at work (I am a restaurant server). No. I don't need more exercise! So, I researched and researched. Couldn't find anything. I've always been a suck it up kinda person, but I started thinking that maybe my brain is messing with me. I don't really have anything wrong with my legs. The sleepless days and tormenting pain was taking over. I finally decided to go to a chiropractor. Couldn't do any worse. I started going to Dr Richard Jones, a couple months ago. Freaking amazing. Him and his colleague have been working on my back. The pain in my upper legs are gone. Now he is treating my knees and calves. Come to find out that all that walking I do at work is the likely culprit. I have strained the muscles and tendons. The other day, he massaged the leg and used K C tape on it. I was in so much pain that evening that I had to leave from work, early. I don't EVER leave work, early. Went home and went to sleep. Woke up and my legs were COMPLETELY pain free. As if nothing were ever wrong with them. Unbelievable!! Of course, it came back a couple days later but not near as bad. Dr Jones said he will keep working on them and it will go away. So, if you watched 2 1/2 men and think chiropractors aren't real doctors, you are very wrong! GPs...now they are a waste of time, in my experience. They know too little about everything. You, Dr Jones are the best!!!!! Oh, bring a light jacket... Dr Jones likes his office cold. They worked my into the schedule and the wait time was short even with being worked in.
