Updating my review to share that I've been going to see Manny regularly for a few years now to treat muscle spasms and even had some pregnancy safe massage! Turns out that when I initially had a bout of costochondritis it was actually the start of a chronic pain problem (fibromyalgia). Manny cured the costochondritis, and his treatments have been the most effective treatment for my body pain. Because of his work I'm able to keep working and functioning at a close to normal level. I even had my first daughter last year, and there's no way I would have survived the pains of pregnancy without Manny's help. I highly recommend him and his team. read more

I hate to admit how great Manny is, because he is already busy! I also make sure to book my next appointment on the way out. I carry his cards because if you start telling me about pain, I'm going to start recommending Manny! My shoulder was frozen and very painful when I first came in 2 years ago. I had been through rehab with Kaiser and Stanford PT, and at the time I met Manny was unable to sleep through the night, lift my arm, lay on my side etc. I was in pain 24/7. My choices were shots, or shots and surgery. Through consistent Myo therapy, Manny broke up the adhesions. It was not fun and I can't say if felt anywhere near nice. Manny does do incredible regular massage, but it is his expertise in healing that I go for. He has many tools that hes invented, and his knowledge is amazing. Today I have no pain in my shoulder and I am back to working out and enjoying life. I still see Manny for the many painful things that come up, and he is the BEST!!!! I've dealt with years of chronic myofascial back pain and tried everything like chiropractic work, ART, acupuncture, cupping, deep tissue massage, etc. with no improvement. After more research, I found I should try myofascial release therapy and found MyoTechnology was one of the few places that provided this service and had detailed info on it on the website. Between that and the Yelp reviews, I decided to try it out. I easily booked an appt online, which was extremely convenient ($110 for 1 hour) and came in 2 days later. I didn't get my hopes up because nothing else has worked but once Adrian started working on my back with the percussion therapy, I thought it was a good start because it got deep in, which everything else failed to do previously. He tried a number of treatments including laser therapy, therapeutic massage/ART, a myofascial release tool, etc. and explained all of them thoroughly to me while doing it. My back feels much looser than it has in a long time, although I believe it'll take consistent treatment to cure it. Overall, I'm very happy with the professional service Adrian provided. I'm really optimistic this is what will cure me and looking forward to updating my Yelp review with results down the line. I Do not recommend this provider. Percussion was used on my bulging and other disc issues. As it was I felt my left foot go numb and then leg go numb. Manny recommended his in office colleague Adrian who I was told by Manny he knew what he was doing. He said he would be great and more available. He was not supervised by Manny and in fact Adrian was the only one in office on most occasions. It has caused me pain and lots of doctors to try and correct. Manny did nothing to remedy the situation, nor did he check in with me. I later learned Adrian left his office, but I wasn't informed by The owner Manny of this fact. I wound be very cautious if you plan to use either person if you have spine issues. I later learned from other providers percussion should never have been used on my bulging disc. My leg has been numb since March. read more

I've been going to Myo Technology for about 7 years. It's the best physical therapy ever. The staff is most knowledgeable. About pain management. After waking if you have slept wrong and you can't turn your neck they can fix it. Pain in the extremities arms legs feet they can fix it. The doctor says I was a candidate for carpal tunnel surgery. Continuous treatments with Manny the doctor said I didn't need to have the carpal tunnel surgery. Friendly courteous and Professional Service what more could you ask for. read more

The good old school massage techniques don' t always resolve the tissue problems I have. I first visited this great place after hearing about how Pro UFC fighters and other Professional athletes go to Manny & team. I love to kick box, but I developed neck, back and knee injuries from it (including neck and knee tears) which threatened me being able to continue with my fave form of exercise. I really wanted to continue working out - and hard - if at all possible, and this has actually been proven possible thanks to regular visits to Myotechnology. I had been suffering from lower back pain for two and a half years after a string of recurrent weight lifting injuries while squatting. Usually bed rest, followed by running and stretching fixes everything for me. However, it didn't heal, and gradually everything began to fall out of shape and the fat piled on since I couldn't even run properly. I had a couple of good deep tissue massages where the lower back felt good for a few hours, but mostly just a general feeling of relief before falling back into hell. Enter Manny. Manny put me on the table for 90 minutes, did the magical machine all over my body, followed by what he called 'assisted yoga'. The whole time while stretching I was expecting some painful twists or jerks, but it was just smooth sailing and breathing through the stretch. At the end I thought this would just be another temporary relief, but as soon as I got off the table I was shocked to find that I had my entire movement back, with just a slight tingle of pain in my lower back. Of course, the pain returned after a few days, to a much lesser degree, but Manny had me back for another three sessions, and taught me stretches to keep the key area loose on a daily basis. Well, can you believe it that after 3 months of that first session with Manny I'm running on the road again, but now focusing on building stamina and not ignoring the crippling pain! I'm so thrilled, I can run longer, easier, have more flexibility, and almost no pain. If I were a professional athlete, I would get a myofascial massage with Manny on a regular basis. If you've just got a niggling pain that wont go away, give Manny a try. If you're just not as active as you used to be, try his 90 minute session, and usually that'll get you back to active shape. If I could give 10 stars I would. Manny is my "Go To" therapist anytime I experience workout injuries, unmanageable neck pain and everyday stress. Every session is handled with professionalism, loving care and compassion. His methods of treatment are like none I have every experienced and trust me I've been to a few and they don't compare. His knowledge of the body and muscles is incredible...a wealth of information. The gadgets he uses for treatment are miracle workers.
