so i've had two experiences at this spa. the first experience was a deep tissue massage with Tracy L, and she did a great job! it was definitely a painful massage but she never once caused any issues during my massage. actually, i would recommend Tracy L for any massage you choose to get. the second and most recent experience i've had here is a swedish massage with an add-on of a tmj massage with CAROL. that was the most horrible AND painful massage i have ever experienced of my life! swedish massages use light/medium pressure whereas deep tissue massages use deeper/harder pressures. tell me why i walked out of my swedish massage with BATTLE SCARS on my neck, collar bone, and cheeks??! this is a LIGHT/MEDIUM PRESSURE MASSAGE, and here i am feeling like i went to war all in 90 minutes. i had told carol that what she was doing was painful and she continuously went on to use the same amount of pressure. there were times where she used a device that i assume is a gua sha and started breaking up blood vessels in my body causing BRUISING to my neck and collar bone. on both sides may i add. it was not relaxing at all and i was in more pain than a deep tissue massage. and that's saying a lot with just that. in addition, CAROL had told me that it is painful but necessary to help with the "tension" in my neck and shoulders. personally, don't take my tension out, just leave it there because if it is THIS painful, i don't want it. however, CAROL continued and even did it on my jaw and that was very uncomfortable. i felt like i couldn't tell her to stop because she kept telling me that "it's necessary." nothing is necessary to keep going like that. i even laid there thinking "wow i prefer tattoo pain over this" and that is also saying A TON. all this to say, i will not be going back to Touch to Heal Spa. there's nothing "healing" about this place and they still charge you $200+ to get beaten and come out looking like you're a war soldier, then mention it's "necessary" for your recovery. no thank you, CAROL. i'm fine with my tension and will keep it that way. also, i have been sore for the past 4 days and it hurts to turn my neck bc of all the pain and bruising. massage soreness goes away in 24-48 hours. read more

I loved my facial technician and my masseuse. It's the management/front staff I'm concerned about. When I booked the appt the deal was 20% off and showed on the booking. But was not applied. I called after and was told bc I did not state the discount I would not get reimbursed. I was in an entranced state as I said, jun and SamT, the actual ladies who do a great job do their job well. But seriously. It's on my confirmation and it's just not ethical. Sucks bc I won't come back here bc why should I get charged more bc I didn't say GIVE ME a discount bc that is what it says mon-thurs. I left feeling disappointed overall. The massage therapist definitely kneaded my muscles, but the session didn't help me relax and felt more therapeutic than restorative. What was more frustrating was that my treatment ended up being only about 60 minutes instead of the 90 minutes I expected. I was told this was due to an additional service included in my package, but that wasn't clearly explained beforehand. There were also several issues with the package benefits. Lunch was supposed to be included but was never provided, and I had to remind staff about the $50 credit that was also part of the package. Having to repeatedly ask for amenities that were already paid for took away from the experience. The highlight of the visit was the facial. The esthetician was wonderful, and it was honestly the most relaxing part of the day--I nearly fell asleep during the treatment. Unfortunately, between the shortened massage time, missing package inclusions, and having to advocate for benefits that should have been automatically honored, I didn't feel I received the value I paid for. Poor customer service. Rude when having to reschedule due to illness, put a damper on the experience before even getting there. Husband made an appointment for me for Mother's Day. I ended up getting sick the evening before so we tried to cancel but could only leave a voicemail the night before. We called in the morning and rescheduled, paid the 50% cancellation fee. I ended up cancelling my rescheduled appointment 6days prior on account of the person who answered the phone that was rude. I understand charging 50% for cancellations within 24hrs, your time is valuable, I get it. I paid it, and rescheduled for the following week no issues. But if you're sick and contagious, and you are rescheduling, there should be some understanding. That's a responsible choice not to come into and appointments spreading your germs. Who would want to get a massage with snot dripping out of your nose? As a health care professional myself I really appreciate if my patients cancel due to sickness, it stops the spread of disease. I don't want to get sick and I don't want people that are in the clinic at the same time picking up germs as well. I think they need to update their policies. Charge the 50% if it's a repeated cancellation or put the cancellation fee towards the their next appointment or something. I was going to be a new repeating client (tight shoulders from working with patients) but I will not be going here due to customer service alone. read more

I booked a couple's massage for my mom on her birthday, and it really ended up being really beneficial to the both of us and then some! As soon as we came in, the atmosphere was peaceful and warm, and Sam T and Tracy further enhanced our experience with their great vibe. My mom is still raving about Sam T. She keeps telling me how comfortable she was and how much her body was improved after the session. She was so crazy about it that she went ahead and booked her boyfriend a session with Sam T right after we left, which is basically the proof. Speaking of my session, I was with Tracy, and she blew me away. She gave me the attention I needed and mainly worked on the parts of my body where I usually have the most stress. The thing I liked the most was her depth of knowledge. She didn't just target those areas but also told me what she was observing and indicated to me what might need more work in the future. The whole thing was very much a one-to-one treatment, and it seemed like she really wanted to help me improve not just for the time being but long-term as well. This was my go to until recently. I had to cancel an appointment within their cancellation policy window but I was informed I wouldn't be charged due to the nature of the reason of my cancellation; I was in labor with my first child. Yet as you probably can tell by my 2 stars they did end up charging me and when requesting a refund for the charge they would not budge and basically said to bad so sad that a policy is a policy. Again... I was in the hospital IN LABOR. As much as I'd love to continue to frequent this business the way they treated me postpartum is unfortunate. read more

We had a couples massage to start our honeymoon. My wife had an amazing massage. We splurged and added the hot stones. About 10 minutes into the massage, my therapist decided without consulting me that I needed a deep tissue massage, skipped most of the hot stones, and really went to work on my tension. While it was probably what my body needed, it wasn't what I wanted. I left feeling very unsatisfied and disappointed, but very glad that my wife had a nice experience. The staff was very kind and accommodating, the facilities were clean and above what you would expect, but would encourage you to be more assertive than I was to be clear on what your expectations are for the massage. read more

The most amazing spa experience!! As a person with a bigger body and as a neurodivergent, choosing where to get a massage/facial can be intimidating. However, I won't have to look again because Touch to Heal Spa knocked it out of the park. Stephanie did an amazing job on the dry brush + massage. When my hips flinched (not because of her but just a reflex), she made sure I was okay, the pressure was good, and adjusted. My body was finally able to relax for the first time in a long time. My skin feels so smooth and I feel brand new! Any tension I had left the building! Carolina did a great facial! She checked my skin to see about any problem areas I might have. I upgraded to the summer facial and I wasn't disappointed. My face is glowing and feels so hydrated! The products smelled great and I felt very relaxed. The service was amazing. I just want to thank these professionals who made this an amazing experience. I finally decided to treat myself for my mental health and this was everything and more! My only comment is that if you are bigger, the robes they provide probably won't fit you so you might need an extra minute or two when you go from one treatment to another. read more

I've been going here for at least 4-5 years and there was a special that I was not told about even though it was listed at the register and I got charged full price and $5 extra as well even though my spa treatment was $210 not $215. Two of my family members actively go as I referred them, and you would think as a loyal customer, they would give me the promotion price. This reflects the place and not the massage therapists. DO NOT GET A FACIAL. DO NOT. This review is for a facial that I received. For starters YES I HAD MY EARRINGS IN. MY CHOICE. I AM PAYING FOR A FACIAL NOT AN EAR REMOVAL! I chose not to remove my earrings because they have screw on backs and I was getting a facial and historically I have had many facials and never was required to remove it as... I am the customer and I know they are in and you are a trained professional! Anyway, there is absolutely no way she didn't see my face grimace when she drug the back of her hand up the back of my earring backs. OUCH! Then with and extremely rough cloth and abrasive back and forth on my chin and she would let the cloth slide up my ear. Then her extractions felt like a razor, I have never had a tool racked down my nose and chin with such pressure and aggression. No gentle extractions, full on rage removal. This earring situation happened every time she removed a potion from my face. At least 4 times. MISERABLE. GET THE MASSAGE. The best massage/stretch ever. The massage therapist gave one of the most thorough stretches which really added to the massage. She was amazing. Would not go back. I tipped 20 % because I could not tip individually.
