Would post less than one star if I could. On my first visit to this establishment I was charged roughly $15 more than typically paid anywhere else. Nonetheless I left confident that I would look good for the upcoming event fast forward to the next day( day of event) and I'm having to rush back in to get a repair. Only after I refused to pay the fee stating per protocol that my lash was covered was the manager contacted. My lash was replaced. Less than 24 hours after the replacement my lash was lifting again. OMG! NO!!! DO NOT GO THERE!!!! They literally ripped off a piece of my skin and then BLAMED IT ON ME!!!! They told me that my skin was too think and that it was all my fault!! I have had a full face wax before, and I have NEVER been mutilated!!! They kept dipping their wax with the same stick in the same wax pot that was being used for MULTIPLE clients!!!! I added pictures of their mutilation on my face. I originally went in for my eyebrows, they made me feel horribly bad asking me multiple times if I needed anything else, they looked at my face with disgust, and told me I need my whole face waxed. The other "esthetician" kept rudely interrupting telling me the same as well, I felt so awful about myself and agreed, and that is where it horribly went wrong!! I kept telling the "esthetician" the wax was too hot, she said no it isn't, but it was literally dripping off the stick. I noticed she kept using the same stick and kept putting it into the same wax pot that was used for everyone else. I told her it is not hygienic and she told me I was crazy and did not know anything and to mind my own business. I was appalled!!! This is a place that also does bikini waxes!!! If they are comfortable to being that unhygienic with wax for your face, I can only imaging what they do with the wax used for bikini hair removal. When I first walked in, I was extremely nervous. I have heard of so many horror stories of women trying out new shops to get their eyebrows threaded but I decided to take a leap and try it out. I normally go to Pamela (located on 86 michigan inside Belle Beauty) and have been going to her for at least 5 years now... she has been taking vacations and I needed my brows done for my baby shower and maternity pics so i decided to give Myra Eyebrows a try! I walked in and was greeted. She answered all my questions politely and then I was able to check in with their electronic sign in sheet...which was pretty cool :) I signed in, and she was able to start me immediately. It was challenging as I am 8 months pregnant and my son was moving a lot to get my eyebrows done but she went at my pace and allowed me to get comfortable. I really liked the lady that hooked me up and I got her business card and information so that I can request her next time. She told me she worked Tuesdays and Wednesdays but the shop is always open! I've never had my eyebrows threaded before so I was somewhat pessimistic trying it. Saw that this place was close to home and had some decent reviews. I have nothing but good things to say about this place. Interior was nice the lady that worked on my eyebrows went above and beyond. She waxed and threaded my eyebrows and probably spent 20 or so minutes working on mine (I had very thick eyebrows) and only charged me 11 dollars. Great place to get your eyebrows threaded. They go for perfection honestly recommend trying this place out. Also the customer was great.

I loved their computer checkin! It was a neat way to check in and select which service you needed. Its the same as a paper check in but I am a tech guru so I love the idea of the computer check in. It seemed to keep them a bit more organized with a good flow going. I barely had to wait any time, which I went on a weekend about noon, so I was surprised by that. I figured I'd have to wait a bit. I was also surprised by their pricing. It wasn't nearly as expensive as I thought it would be. It is actually cheaper to get your eyebrows threaded rather than waxed. One thing is, when she finished she gave me a mirror and my eyebrows didn't quite look identical but after telling her she matched them. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone. It was recommended to me and was very happy with my experience here! I can't wait to go back! read more

I am so disappointed with the eyelashes I received here. First of all they weren't even individual lashes so I don't think they should advertise them as eyelash extensions. They were cheap cluster lashes! Second of all they applied so much glue. These eyelashes caused so much damage to my natural eyelashes. I had to get them removed and it was very very VERY painful! But after all the pain I went through someone fixed them for me and they were much better!(see first pic). I just can't believe that they think they did a good job on my lashes. They were so itchy and irritating. If this is how they do eyelashes I don't even wanna know how they do eyebrows. DO NOT GET LASH EXTENSIONS HERE FOLKS! read more

Walked in at 8:22 PM to get natural lashes and my eyebrows threaded,the woman told me to have a seat then proceeded to tell me because they close at 9 she can only thread my eyebrows. Anyone who gets their lashes and eyebrows done knows it only takes 30 minutes or so to do both. I got in my car to look up another eyebrow place and she left out at 8:30, but their sign says they close at 9. Annoyed by the whole ordeal! I've been to this location numerous of times. Last visit was months ago because I wanted to grow out my eyebrows for a fuller look for my wedding. Well 4 days before my wedding (today) I go in just to shape my brows. This lady leaves me with a thick base and skinny or barely there tail. I knew something had to have been wrong when she broke the thread 4x on my face then it was taking waaay longer than usual. Hopefully my MUA will fill in her mistakes bc taking a photo you can't even see the tail of my brow. Now I have to look for another eyebrow shop bc Nancy ruined this place for me. read more

Had brows and lashes done here...brows were okay but lashes peeled off in the salon and she used soooooo much gummy glue it looked like I had clusters of tar on my lashes. She demanded I pay even though I peeled the lashes off in the salon and handed them to her. I won't be back. Sometimes cheap is not a savings in the long run. read more
