We had a great time! Our tour guide Bob did a great job explaining everything, and gave a great tour we will definitely be back!

Wanted something fun and different for our family reunion in North Myrtle beach, and this hit the mark. GG and Bob were great, giving us a training session before the 11 of us hit the nature trail, which was flat and wide so no worry of not having enough room or challenging terrain. Everyone in our group enjoyed it and we had a blast.

First let me say Bear our guide offered us the option of a refund when we arrived. It was raining pretty hard at the time but In watching the radar we knew it would likely stop soon. And it was just our party of 4 in the tour so we all said what the heck let's do this. Bear offered us free plastic ponchos and off we went. He did an good job with safety instruction thru out the tour, gave us information about the park and park owners and took our group pics often. The only thing I think they need to either provide or inform the guest is mosquito repellent. Lots of mosquitoes and in some places we stopped they were swarming on us. We had to keep moving to not be eaten up. But moving is fun so off we'd go. My husband and I were trying to find fun things to do with our friends who were visiting and we all loved this experience.

Just an example of the different terrains we explored

I can't say enough how much my family enjoyed our time on the Segway tour. To start, because of my daughter's age we stopped into the office to see if she'd be able to handle the Segway safely. Aaron, was very good at showing her around the Segway and doing a test ride to be sure of her safety. He went the extra mile to try to schedule us on a tour where we wouldn't be with others in case she needed more guidance. Well..it turned out she was a whiz on the Segway and our family thoroughly enjoyed the tour of Huntington Beach state park with Jack. Jack was a great teacher. He taught us the basics first, to get off/on, the how to turn and stop and change terrain on the 45 degree angle. He then taught us a bit more as we went along. I liked that, as it wasnt over whelming. He was fantastic. Huntington Beach is beautiful and we had a ball riding the segways. I don't think Ive ever been on a tour and had so much fun. Jack took us through so many different parts of the park. We went up and down inclines, on bridges, alligator alley and then off-roading in a forest trail. All this and we learned a lot of history and biology too! Our thanks to everyone at Myrtle Beach Segways!

We came on a day when we thought the weather at the beach was going to be less than ideal - lucky for us, the Zipline tours operate rain or shine. We ended up having great weather for it too! It was super easy to book. Once we got there, they got us kitted out, then we went through a quick (yet thorough) instruction on how to safely zipline. It was a group of 5 of us plus our guides. The tour took about 2 - 2.5 hours, and you get to go on 10 different ziplines. It was a fun way to spend an afternoon. Especially if the weather is going to be less than ideal and you need some way to kill time. Our tour guides, Chase, Miles, and Zach, were great! Thanks y'all!

For the Zipline tour, we had Jesse, Margaret, and Lacey as our guides and all of them were great! Jesse is very fun and funny, Margaret is super sweet, and Lacey had amazing knowledge on fun facts throughout the tour! The zip lines were very fun, and all three guides took every measure to ensure our safety, creating a good sense of trust. We all felt like a group of friends by the end of our tour. They also take photos at the beginning, middle, and end of the tour with specific spots for photo ops which I truly appreciate! (You do have to pay for the photos.) I will absolutely recommend The Swamp Park to friends and family! We plan to come back and try the ATV tour next!

I purchased the Tea Service ahead of time. Everyone was very friendly but I will say, overly cautious. I had indicated that I have a tree nut allergy on the notes when I booked our reservation and I have never had an establishment refuse me service because of my allergy , but they did. For the life of me I couldn't understand why a slight adjustment couldn't be made to remove almonds from one tiny dish. They also refused to serve one of my daughters for a lactose intolerance note. I assured them it was ok and I had a lactaid for her to take, she'd be fine. I had only included that note because SOME places will offer alternatives. Ultimately, they served us but I had to sign a waiver, never have I ever until now. Most of the tea service items were very good with the exception of the tiny lemon chess pie which was curdled and tasted of rotten eggs, awful. The tea was excellent and the scones and curd and cream were great too. The area where the dining room is, is nothing fancy at all. It was decent but I was truly disappointed as I was hoping for something more extravagant for tea service. The plantation home, while nice was also truly underwhelming. Great history, good tour guide who was very knowledgeable and a great storyteller, but the house was not anywhere near as fancy as others I have visited. I think what was the biggest let down was that this was the first time my daughters were visiting any plantation home and it was not at all what I was hoping for them to see and experience. If I had known what it looked like more ahead of time, I would have chosen another location in the area. Pictures inside the home are not allowed.
