I ordered the pastel birthday cake for my Mother's Birthday today. They didn't have the pastel flowers. They put me on hold and stated that they were able to order the pastel flowers. I don't live in Toledo and I always order my Mom flowers. I will never order again from this place. My brother sent me a pic she lied....these flowers are more pastel. I called in to tell them about the card and ask what could be done as far as compensation and I was told to go somewhere else if I wasn't happy. I have to give this florist a 5 star rating. I have used them twice in the last 3 months and they have come through with beautiful arrangements for my friend who lives in Perrysburg. 1st one was a florial arrangement to cheer my friend up going thru cancer treatment. She loved the flowers sent me a picture of them and then when I visited and was able to see them they were beautiful. 2nd order was for the same friend except she had passed away from her cancer and we needed flowers once again I placed the order on Sunday evening for Monday delivery to funeral home 2 arrangements with a few instructions. They followed my instructions no issues the flowers were beautiful once again and I am so happy you have come thru for me twice in a short time. Thank you for the wonderful service and flowers. The people who work at this shop are amazing, and have single-handedly restored my faith in humanity, at least a little bit. I have a large group of friends who are all connected because we were diagnosed with breast cancer under the age of 40. One of our dear friends Julie just passed away, and we wanted to see if we could somehow each send a pink rose to her funeral, since most of us don't live in Ohio. Long story short, one of us called Myrtle's Flowers to arrange this, and since yesterday over 100 of us from all across the country have called them to order a single pink rose. And absolutely every person has said how wonderful they've been on the phone - which was my experience too. With so many roses, we were wondering how we'd get them to the funeral, how we could arrange them so that they'd be easier for the family to handle, etc. - our plan was to have one person pick them up and somehow find containers for them. Well, Myrtle's said that they would deliver them, would put them in vases and arrangements....AND would do this for free. That part certainly had me at least in tears. This goes beyond just great customer service, and speaks to just good kindhearted people. read more

Outstanding customer service . I tried placing an order online but wasn't able to select a drop off time so I gave the store a call . The lady who answered was very helpful . She told me the order I wanted they were low on white flowers , but could put together a fall basket for me . I told her I didn't want a fall basket because I automatically assumed fall meant sunflowers and that's not very fitting for a sympathy arrangement . Luckily she sent me a photo of the basket prior to delivering the basket and I am so glad she did .. because I HATEEEEDDDDD the first basket . So I called back and ask them to make some different arrangements . She told me she made it that way because I said I didn't want a fall look . She kindly explained to me what a fall basket would look like so I went with the fall look and loved it . Also BTW I ordered these at 3 pm , they close at 5 and still had these delivered to the service before they closed . Excellent customer service . Thank you so much ladies read more

My father-in-law has been taking his floral business there for over 30 years buying flowers for my mother-in-law who passed away 2 and 1/2 years ago and for her memorial service they charged him over $500 for a wreath and an arrangement for the top of her casket that went home with them since she was cremated. They died a few days later. My sister-in-law told me just yesterday (and btw, my dad has advanced Alzheimer's disease) that he takes 2-3 vases back in at a time when he orders flowers, the ones that he has already paid for previously with other arrangements to have more "dying" flowers put in for the memorial he has set up for mom at the house. They are charging him ridiculous prices for dying and buds that won't bloom flowers and they are only giving him one of the vases back and cramming all of the flowers into the one vase and recharging him for it. I believe that they are taking advantage of an elderly man who is grieving over the loss of his best friend of 60+ years. Thank goodness my sister and her husband caught this because they would have just kept doing it. They are now taking him to Hirzel Brother's Greenhouse to get quality product and service. I wish they had an option to rate zero stars because Myrtle's doesn't deserve it. They should be ashamed of themselves! UPDATED 6/14/18: Thank you for taking care of my father-in-law on Mother's Day for my mother-in-law's memorial. That was very decent of you and my family and I greatly appreciate anyone that can put a smile on his face these days. May God bless you! read more

I placed an order over the phone from Colorado for delivery of a peace lily plant in Toledo. When placing a long distance order, one worries about what the actual item will look like when it arrives.
