I have driven past Mystic Sanctuary a lot interesting past. I have always told myself that I need to make a stop there but it didn't happen until I made a very deliberate point to go there. I was recommended for it by an acquaintance and I was in the mood to do some incense stick shopping a few weekends ago so I finally paid my first visit there. What a cute place! I love it! There is all kinds of spiritual or metaphysical items and some things that are there just for the sheer fun of it. They did not disappoint in having a good variety of incense and Steve bought an absolutely beautiful reflective Crescent Moon incense holder. It's so beautiful I am almost afraid to use it. They have a great tea and book section and all kinds of candles. But the thing that was a real extra bonus was their chocolate section. They have a small counter in which you can pick chocolates from out of the case. We each bought an espresso chocolate and a coconut chocolate and they were so good! I don't know the back story with the chocolates but it wouldn't surprise me if the owner made them themselves. The chocolates are certainly local for sure and not associated with any large candy company. A really fun and rewarding stop! I will have to make more deliberate points to go here. If nothing else a quick stop for more of those chocolates! read more

I don't know how stores like this stay open, not because they aren't amazing, but because I never see a lot of other shoppers. When we paid for our purchase the clerk had to turn on the cash machine, which says to me they hadn't been to busy... But I dunno. Anyway This is one of the better ones. Great selection of candles, insense and some awesome tarot decks I had never seen. I especially liked their tea selection, and had to buy some to support the shop. Its the smallest metaphysical score around but it packs a punch. Lots of interesting items and they also hold a monthly drum circle. It's definitely worth the visit. read more

Came by after my tattoo appointment around the corner, after being suggested by MrVick. It's a really cool shop, with lots of trinkets, books, figurines, gems, and tinctures. They even have tea there with so many different flavors. I forgot which I got, but it was very aromatic and fruitful. read more

Came here on Friday 12/15 and thought some friends might like it for gift buying options. I took them here on Saturday 12/16 and the shop was closed when it should have been open. It was around 2pm. No signs on the door. We checked their FB, nothing. Called the shop, nothing. This was a pity because the previous day I thought it would be a good place to find statuary, miscellaneous spiritual stuff, books and of course, chocolate truffles. Are used to come here all the time and now that will probably end. They have an amazing selection and it's overall a fun little store! I'm surprised they didn't know who I was because of how much I go there. I was looking at rings and it was either the owner or the manager that pointed me to out another coworker, she told them to watch me. She was so obvious about it, and it really hurt my feelings. What a gem! I pass by this place on my way to work weekly and have been intrigued. I love a good woo woo shop. Located in an unassuming strip mall near Pierce College, this sweet little shop boasts chocolates, teas, a good selection of tarot cards, reasonably priced gemstones, and a soothing atmosphere. I will definitely be buying my gemstones from here from now on as the prices are the best I've seen and ever better than internet prices. Absolutely my favorite place to go when I am feeling stressed. Chocolate truffles and a multitude of teas are available to purchase in little bags or by the cup. The ambiance is 2nd to none. Beautiful music plays in the background and the smell is amazing. If you are interested in having your cards or stones read, this is the place to go. I had a cold reading done & was flabbergasted as to how accurate it was. If beautiful objects are your Achilles heel you must stop by and check it out. A lovely ambience! Owners Dawn & Chris are fine folks, and maintain a well-presented mixture of metaphysical resources and tasty treats. Not being a tea-lover (herbal or otherwise), I cannot speak to the flavors on the liquid side, but the scents let me know that they use taste and discrimination in what they carry. I visit all of the local metaphysical shops, what I like is that each specializes in a different aspect. This shop is great, the people are helpful and approachable. Knowledgeable in their products, and listen to what you are looking for. I have had a couple of reading there and they were enjoyable as well as helpful. None of the local shops are better than the other, different is a better word. read more

You can see that a lot of thought was put into the big and little details from the floors and walls to the displays.
