As a Pokémon aficionado, I had to check out this new, local trading card store. It's located in an obscure office space, which would help explain why I was the only customer there. The collection of cards they offer is also limited, but there is still a good mix of your classics and more recent packs like the Halloween ones. I ended up getting 10 of those BOOster packs and got one free as part of their promotion! Worth checking out, and I hope the business ramps up soon. Overall, not bad--with room for improvement and growth!

Stumbled upon this spot because my friend was looking for some Pokemon cards. It is a bit hard to find but hopefully this helps someone who is looking. It is located at a commercial office space, in the middle building of the three identical buildings, in between a university and a church. It is a strange location for sure, but completely worth the visit. I am personally a fan of Pokemon plush as I haven't touched the cards since I was young. Walking in here made me feel like a kid in a candy store, because they had a vast majority of cards being displayed, even old ones that I remember when I was younger which definitely brought back all the nostalgia. I ended up only buying a fat Pikachu card because it was cute and inexpensive, but I will definitely be back. The salesperson was helpful and nice, and said that they usually rotate cards so it helps to come in and take a look. They advertised following their IG which is the store name, for announcements and such.

Found these guys through their Instagram. Messaged em about some WOTC black star promos they posted and came in the very next day to trade for em. Lil was super helpful and very willing to help out a fellow collector. These guys have lots of stuff for your collection! Modern, vintage, singles, sealed product, binders to flip through and even a dope Pokémon vending machine if you have some quarters. If you're looking for something to add to your collection, definitely check these guys out!

    With the banner!

To any Pokémon TCG lovers out there, I would recommend this place! Lillian is a very sweet person and made us feel like home

I got this for only $26 after trading in a few cards that I pulled from a Lost Origins Booster box.

Coming from Vallejo to visit my girlfriend, I was looking for another card shop, specifically for Pokémon. My girlfriend finds this place on instagram called Mystic Snow Trading, and we immediately went to check it out. Owner is friendly and has reasonable prices on the items in stock and trade ins. Definitely will be coming back here to buy another box soon!

Ask the Community - Mystic Snow Trading

Do you guys buy bulk cards?

We do not buy bulk such as commons, uncommons, reverse, or rares, but we do buy singles (hits).

Hi, my friends and I wanted to check out your card shop during our lunch break. We're going to try again later this week. We couldn't figure out where the store entrance and location is at. Where and how do we get in?

Business hours are usually M-F 12-6pm for the shop. There are two main doors- one located at the entrance where the parking lot is, and a side door that is closest to the elevator. The shop is located on the second floor in suite 239.

I think they do a good job of giving back to the community by hosting tons of play nights and trading events. I love the fact that they have a HUGE selection of different TCGS, especially Weiss Schwarz and pokemon! They have tons of unique products that you literally CANNOT find anywhere else. Their TCG accessories are abundant compared to other stores, so many options to choose from!! And they showcase small artists! Which unfortunately a lot of stores don't do, which makes no sense to me because art is the main drawing point of the TCG community. The employees are lovely as well! My problem with Tofu that causes it to not get a five stars review is that the store is tiny. There is almost no space to walk around if you end up going here when they're busy - which is 90% of the time. Since they host game nights almost every single night, there is almost always no room to walk around and explore since the store will be packed. Which is sad because I like to take my time to decide what I would like to buy. It honestly makes me not want to go here because there are plenty of other stores in the area that have a lot of room compared to Tofu. Another con is that it's located in Vietnam town, with tens of other businesses surrounding it. Finding parking is an absolute nightmare because there are almost always events being hosted in Vietnam Town. You either have to circle around the same area for ten minutes if you want parking that's close to the store or you have to walk 10 minutes to the store. It's honestly a shame that they opened a store in this location because it's the main reason why Tofu isn't my NUMBER ONE go-to store anymore. Pricing and community almost isn't worth it to justify a small store that doesn't have much room to walk around and is difficult to find parking for. I'd rather go to a different store that has less foot traffic or is bigger. I try to put up with it but it's very frustrating . Either way love the store but I rarely go here because of the reasons I listed.

Needless to mention, unlike almost any other board game cafe in the Bay Area, they don't charge you just to sit and play. On top of that, they have a huge collection of comic books, board games, and comics-related items and artifacts available to purchase, so it's easy to walk out with more than you came in for. I love this place so much that it's always hard for me to leave. They close at 7 PM on weekends, and every single week, I find myself wishing I had just a little more time before heading out. I am welcomed and the staff is very helpful. They don't seem to be trying to milk every dollar out of me. In fact, it feels like they're trying to save me money. They keep their snacks and beverages low and affordable that no other store can claim. They are usually fully stocked on singles, packs, and boxes in addition to accessories. The environment where we play looks so cool with the artwork. I like the people that play here too. It's just a game, and we're there to have a good time. I'll reiterate again. It is the best place to play TCG in the 408/669 area code.

Anyways, I wanted to check this card shop since it was near a drink spot I had just finished going to and It was sort of disappointing. The cards were great, nice selection and the service was good up until another gentleman came in. I was getting help from a lady who was telling me the prices of cards and what not. The gentleman that came in was trying to exchange or sell his card and the lady who was helping me started helping him. I then found all the cards I wanted and went to the register to attempt to pay. Another lady came up to me and asked if the lady beforehand gave me the prices for each card. I said she did for the 2 I had in hand and the third she did not since she started helping the other person. The Second Lady asked the First Lady and the First Lady who originally helped me said she was comping cards from the other person. The second girl then just went back to playing card games? I then just stood there like an idiot waiting for some sort of help since I was technically the first one trying to shop (there were others but they were playing the card games) I atleast expected the First Lady to ring me up quickly or even the Second Lady to ring me up. First girl continued comping the other persons cards and the second girl went back to her game. I decided I shouldn't support this shop due to the awful service and l put the cards back in the binder and left. There are other card shops that I will continue going to over this one for sure. Absolutely zero awareness from these two workers, fantastic work really.
