Fast forward 25+ years later, and I'm now shopping for my son's RC car. Not as much as the old location, but customer service was good. Needed hex wheel adapters for my son's toy grade RC and the guy was able to get me a set that we took apart from the shop RC since they didn't have any brand new adapters in stock. Might have to take a trip to the other hobby shop that's close to this one to compare selection. . But overall, this shop wasn't too bad.

They were more than happy to guide me through the store and help me find whatever I was looking for, and they did so with genuine enthusiasm. The store itself is a treasure trove of interesting and unique items. Whether you're into home décor, crochet, art supplies, painting, photo framing, or even just looking for cool mugs or crafting accessories--you'll find it here. It really does live up to the name when it says anything related to your hobby is under one roof. What surprised me the most were the prices. I compared several items with what's available online on Amazon, and Hobby Lobby consistently came out cheaper--which was a pleasant surprise! My 4-year-old is obsessed with anything with 4 wheels, so getting back into RC with him has been such a blast. We came out to get my 2WD buggy on their awesome indoor carpet track and let my son check everything out. The whole experience was great. The track is fantastic, and the shop had such a welcoming vibe. One of the highlights was their indoor rock crawling area. We had been wanting to try crawling, and Will was kind enough to loan us a crawler to test out. Needless to say... we ended up leaving with one! Overall, we had an awesome time. His honesty made us feel comfortable about what we needed to purchase and was very welcoming to the RC community, by welcoming us back to tryout the facility they have there, which was pretty dope. As a Noob, it could be very intimidating walking into a store full of equipment and not knowing what to get. My wife and I felt none of that, as we were helped with great service and left knowing that I'll be coming back for parts later. The indoor track and "crawl park" (if that's what it's called), was very impressive and the atmosphere was welcoming along with the patrons that were there. Short review since we only come here for the gashapon machines…read more I really like coming here. Get some anime gashapon, but it's hard to get some of the ones you like since they're out of stock. I really wish they would stock up more on the popular items. Things are getting a little pricey. $15 for five tokens, and most gashapon are two or three tokens. A lot of the gashapon are anime, sanrio, animals, even food. The last time we were there, they even had little Nikes! The only downside is that it gets pretty warm in there. Especially when the place is packed, it gets really hot. Hopefully they'll think about adding air conditioning or at least fans soon.

The employee with black hair and glasses came across as rude toward another customer, speaking in a condescending manner and appearing to assume the customer was a scalper. Watching this interaction felt uncomfortable and unnecessary. When other customers tried to ask questions, the same staff member was dismissive and rolled his eyes a few times, which made the overall atmosphere feel unwelcoming. A store like this should feel fun and inviting, especially for collectors and fans who are genuinely excited to be there. That said, I want to be clear that I do like this store overall and have had positive experiences with other staff members in the past, who have always been friendly and helpful. This particular interaction stood out in an unfortunate way and left me feeling disappointed. I hope management takes this feedback into consideration and addresses the situation, because this type of behavior is not okay and takes away from what should be a positive experience.

There's usually a crowd of people socializing right in front of the cards/register and blocking access, while the new employees make little effort to help actual customers. I get that it's a community hangout spot, but it becomes a real problem when paying customers can't even browse/buy cards. Today they crossed a line and established themselves as a predatory business. For the new set release, they kept the release bundle hidden until over 100 people were already lined up. Only then did they reveal that the items everyone waited for could only be purchased at "MSRP" bundled with an overpriced chinese box. They misled a massive crowd into showing up, banking on people buying other inventory out of frustration or obligation because of the time they spent waiting already. The release details were always made clear with the community in the past, so this felt like a deliberate change to take advantage of customers.
