I came in looking for Chaos Rising boosters and the staff working was incredibly nice, professional, and knowledgeable. Even though I was there for Chaos Rising, I couldn't help myself to browsing through what they had. The options in sets were better than some other local card shops I've seen and either at or slightly below market. I am glad I took the drive to check this place out. Definitely coming back!

There's usually a crowd of people socializing right in front of the cards/register and blocking access, while the new employees make little effort to help actual customers. I get that it's a community hangout spot, but it becomes a real problem when paying customers can't even browse/buy cards. Today they crossed a line and established themselves as a predatory business. For the new set release, they kept the release bundle hidden until over 100 people were already lined up. Only then did they reveal that the items everyone waited for could only be purchased at "MSRP" bundled with an overpriced chinese box. They misled a massive crowd into showing up, banking on people buying other inventory out of frustration or obligation because of the time they spent waiting already. The release details were always made clear with the community in the past, so this felt like a deliberate change to take advantage of customers. Tofu's used to be one of the last card shops that people loved to support, but that's clearly over

A vendor friend of mine recommended me to this location and it was pleasantly clean, organized, and also had Pokemon and Magic cards as well from what I saw at first glance. I generally don't write reviews, especially after only one visit, but my first time experiences at LGS's as a woman have ranged from awkward to just painful, and having an objectively good first impression with not just the owner but the second employee who spoke with me was enough for me to want to endorse them as somewhere to frequent. The Second Lady asked the First Lady and the First Lady who originally helped me said she was comping cards from the other person. The second girl then just went back to playing card games? I then just stood there like an idiot waiting for some sort of help since I was technically the first one trying to shop (there were others but they were playing the card games) I atleast expected the First Lady to ring me up quickly or even the Second Lady to ring me up. First girl continued comping the other persons cards and the second girl went back to her game. I decided I shouldn't support this shop due to the awful service and l put the cards back in the binder and left. There are other card shops that I will continue going to over this one for sure. As soon as I walked in, I was immediately greeted. They asked if I was looking for anything and was shown to the card sleeve section. I've been to multiple stores that specialize in cards. Why was this the ONLY place where I found a large assortment of card sleeves for players!! Lol I met Anna(?) or Ann, and customer service was amazing, gave all information I was asking for, and showed me the weekly schedule. I am more of a mega competitive player (but not a sore winner ;-)), so I wanted to know what their schedule looked like, what is their most supported game, etc. I believe this is a more chill, casual, friendlies kind of vibe (not a bad thing at all), and I'd be open to doing more drafts or pre-release kits or something. Hoping to bring in my coworkers and friends! I can tell that they care very much about making sure they can support their community and create an inclusive and healthy space.
