Really disappointed by the predatory practices of this store. It's all over the place if you search for them, but I preordered hundreds of dollars worth of Bloomburrow product ages ago only to have them now cancel it as prices went up. They also do this if you have discounts added to your order (I had over $40 off). Thankfully Affirm is fully refunding me, but the mass cancellations the company does on paid preorders is a form of laundering and gets them cash capital ahead of time. I was really hoping for a super positive experience with these guys, but they're now being difficult about responding to emails, providing their 10% off discount, and SOMEHOW went out of stock on Bloomburrow product I ordered over three months ago as a guaranteed delivery. Scammer who will basically over-sell you cheap pre-orders to lure you in, which gives them basically an interest free loan to buy from their distributors. Then they will selectively cancel the lowest paying customers if the product value goes up in price and demand is high, and only fulfill the highest paying customers. They also have terrible response rates to emails and will straight up lie. read more

After placing an online order, days before the expected ship date notices were sent out that they could not fulfill their shipment requirements as they were shorted product. After a long and tedious process, a refund was eventually issued, but initially.was told there would be restocking fees for product they had cancelled. They have a policy in place where if you cancel a preorder prior to it shipping, you'll still pay a 30% fee. Be aware of this predatory practice, and be aware who you do business with. Look them up, find all the reviews, from Lotus Lookout, the previous name, to Mythic Lotus Gaming, the most current name, they have a history of shorting people of preorder things that will be I'm high demand. The fact that a refund wasn't offered should be telling. Just a terrible business all around. Do not make online orders from them, like many other reviewers state, they will offer products at deep deep discounts on preorder and then after release, delay and eventually not deliver or cancel the order. In the past, they have tried to ask for a 30% restocking fee for cancelling undelivered preorders, which is in blatant disregard of FTC regulations. In my case there was no communication with Mythic Lotus about the delays in my order until I initiated it via email. After getting some runaround from them saying that the preorders will go out in the order in which they were made, I asked about my place in the queue, and whether I'd get it next week, next month, or whatever. The next communication from them I received informed me that they would just refund my order with a milquetoast form letter and hoping I would be a customer in the future. What a joke. Normally I'd just move on and tell people to avoid this business (and believe me, you should definitely avoid it), but in this case, due to the scope and scale of this scam, I intend to notify regulatory agencies and Wizards of The Coast about this business's practice and my experience. read more

Absolutely trash company to purchase and preorder products from, this is nothing short of a scam. Do NOT preorder anything from them, they have zero intention of delivering the products and fulfilling orders. They intentionally oversell products with no intention of honoring sales, purely to receive interest free loans out of customer wallets. If you aren't lucky enough to have them cancel your order months after release date, you will need to fight to get your money refunded without being subject to a 30% restocking fee. I hate writing bad reviews for local games stores. In fact, this is my first. Placed an order and didn't hear anything about it. I reached out for information, and I was assured the product would be sent the following week. After my product didn't arrive, I reached back for more info. I was told that they were going to ship me an order of the following week after a second wave of distribution. This did not happen either. Nobody ever reached out to me, and the week after that, I was refunded. I would have much rather waited for the product or have been told that I wasn't going to get the product weeks before they gave me the run-around. I could have handled that, as I would have spent my money elsewhere. But they dragged me along for nearly 3 weeks without any information. A very disappointing experience altogether. Sad to say, Mythic Lotus Gaming are scammers and fraudsters, in my experience. They take preorders way way in advance and then cancel them, sometimes refusing to give your money back. In my case, I ordered three MH3 Collector Boxes in April. Obviously that gave them plenty of time before the mid-June release date. As many others have experienced, they strung me along and said they would send my orders, and that they were guaranteeing all preorders. Instead, of course, they cancelled it today (July 2) -- without a refund. Look at their other reviews, and the Reddit thread about them (and their prior name, Lotus Lookout). I am one of many many people who has been scammed by Mythic Lotus Gaming. Don't join this club, look elsewhere. Stomping Grounds MTG in Vegas is a good choice, as is Saga Concepts in NJ. read more

Emailed MLG got a response stating they had sold out and were waiting on another shipment. Waited a month still nothing emailed again got the same response. If I can give zero stars I would as this place is a rundown joke that simply needs to close. The store did an overhaul of all the employees(again) and changed the system(again). I went in the store yesterday to cash out my store credit and the employee informed me that the new system doesn't have a record of my store credit. He also informed me they only have a record of me making 4 transactions at the store in the past 12 months. The next day I wrote the store manager about the situation and before I could even show I had proof the system was not correct seeing as I have more bank transactions with their store name on it in the past 12 months than their system was saying I had in the store(the bank doesn't lie), the first thing I get accused of is trying to take advantage of the staff overhaul to make up having store credit. This new manager and the store as a whole is scam central. I was a loyal customer for years and supported the store by competing in tournaments knowing the cost of the tournament outweighed the prize support i would receive for winning. This place clearly needed to scam me(and from these reviews several others) and not pay out any owed store credit so they try to keep the lights on as everyone has rightfully abandoned this store. The owner is purposefully unreachable and has put up a new guy to be the face of the store while he works behind the scenes, and I'm beyond done with this store. AVOID this place like the plague as they will lie to your face and there are A LOT more REPUTABLE stores in Illinois and Missouri you can spend your money at without EVERY review being a person saying how they got scammed. read more
