I happened to be in area today and figured why not stop by and see if things had changed at Saga…read moreToys in 4 years. Honestly, not much has changed. There is still a wide selection of different toy lines to choose from and the organization has gotten better. Figures had actual price stickers on them this time, but the store continues to be overpriced when compared to other toy stores in the St. Louis area and online retailers, sadly even eBay. Yes I know overhead is a thing, but some figures had an almost 100% markup, example Masters of the Universe: Origins - Deluxe Snake Face MISB priced at $44.95 but MSRP is $23.99 and can be readily found on any of the big online retailers. The figure is not vintage either so I can't understand the justification for the price. My biggest disappointment came when inspecting the Transformer figures and I noticed the store had an over abundance of figures specifically from Wave 1 and Wave 2 of Legacy. Why is this a disappointment you ask? Well these figures were sold in two-packs as part of Wal-Mart's 2024 Black Friday Door Busters and were eventually marked down starting at $17 and then down to $7 per two-pack. Saga simply opened the figures up and marked the price back to MSRP. I'm all for charging a fair rate and since these are technically MSRP there's no scalping of price on these items, but the practice in general feels very scummy. This is now my second revision of my original review back in 2019 and I still cannot recommend buying from Saga. I'm sure the owners mean well and maybe they do have a loyal following of regular customers who buy, but I can't figure out how this store stays open, much less profitable.

The manufacturer Neca Toys is against scalping and mark up of their products and has a contract disclaimer which retailers sign regarding how much they can sell Target exclusive toys at only the retail price. The store clearly sells new release Neca TMNT figures for over ebay pricing and the retail pricing of what would have been $51.99 retail for their mark up price of $124.

It was a favorite toy of mine. This store has a large table in the center that is dream come true version of those toys, as well as smaller sets for the littler guys & gals. One year old is able to play at the smaller tables but the 2-5 year olds were having the most fun. There was nice seating for the parents, and the staff handled all of this well. I didn't know upon arriving there just how many families were already there having fun, but just by the parking lot I knew this was going to be good. Which there is a good amount of parking out back fyi. The store has an amazing selection for its size, it's not too cozy but not too large either. The pos system was up to date too, very well ran. The owners or curators (not sure what the situation is here) deserve a lot of respect and credit for their effort. One of those things that really makes a difference in a small (but appropriately sized) way. Thank you!

We love coming here with our kiddos to play with their train set and also had my son's birthday party in the upstairs area. The party was awesome (upstairs area is so much fun) and all the kids had a great time! We highly suggest this store and it is a gem!

It's a calm, welcoming place to browse without feeling rushed. The staff is friendly and helpful when you need them, and checkout is smooth even when the store is busy. A nice bonus is that they always have free ice water available, which is much appreciated while browsing. There's also a Starbucks inside, making it an easy place to spend some time reading, studying, or just relaxing with a coffee. Lots of big chairs line the windows, perfect for sitting back, enjoying your drink, and taking in the view while reading. Whether you're grabbing a quick book or planning to hang out for a while, this location is a pleasure to visit. Easily one of the best Barnes & Noble stores around and well deserving of 5 stars.

It's awesome, it's great and the pricing is fair for it. Some brands are expensive for a reason so expect that. Books are supposed to be a little pricey as well, I reckon. Service was also decent. They aren't very pushy, which is awesome. How can I complain about this place? It's radical! It has everything you need. It has a tasty cafe, displays for books and merch, organized shelf's, and seats for lounging/reading. A great bookstore, I just adore shopping here. Absolutely awesome sauce.
