The space inside feels older, it has characters & that bookstore feel you can't explain. I was pleasantly surprised by how big the store was! They did a really good job of organizing books so it wasn't hard to find what I was looking for and in addition to it was easy to browse I ended up spending over an hour just looking around. The downstairs area also has a used book area which I love because it makes them more affordable which helping someone explore an older book for the first time. Anytime I'm in the area I'll be popping in to see what's new (or used) and grab a few books. I highly recommend for anyone wanting to surf through hard copies of books to pick what's right for them. Awesome place to check out- whether your hanging out or making the "big buy". Great staff and AWESOME game nights (Mon/Thurs @ 7pm). Sure some of the stuff is cover price but you are hard up to find a store that isn't. Of course you can go online anytime and buy the same stuff a little cheaper (well then you also have to figure in shipping and then wait a week or more to get it, and it might not even be what you expected) OR you can pay just a little more to get it right here right now from an awesome shop and great service. @Gordon S you just had an isolated incident buddy, thats no reason to give 1 star- I'm not trollin just tellin the truth! read more

We also met a few people there and started making friends, which made the experience more enjoyable. Unfortunately, over time, those friendships seemed to fade for no apparent reason. It started to feel like we were being singled out or treated differently, and the overall atmosphere became uncomfortable. Whether that was intentional or not, it left us feeling unwelcome and targeted. Because of that experience, we've decided not to return. There are tables for RPG or tabletop gamers at the far end of the front common room/shop space, but there are also a bunch of tables in the far back den room--which, it turns out, they also rent out for private parties. The shop inventory looked like they had a lot of items for miniatures, RPGs, and Magic the Gathering. However, they also had a respectable board game area right up front. They can also order most games they don't carry, I was informed. In sum, nice place to browse for board games and a VERY cool place for a group to hang out--or have a private party!
