The place inside is small, but its still spacious enough that you're not crammed against the other tables. From the moment you're walking up to the place it calls your attention cause its located in the historic Gold Pan Saloon. And the decor inside follows that rustic saloon winery vibes with barrel decors and a crazy ceiling design. They have a great bar area for tastings or a glass of wine as well. I opted for the wine flight, which was great. It included 3 different types of red wines and they were each delicious. My fav was the cabernet franc. It was the best of the 3 for me. For food we went with the Red Rocker charcuterie board and it was great. They pick the 2 cheeses and 2 proteins, which are a rotating selection, along with pickled veggies and a spread with homemade wine tortilla chips. What I love about it is that you can tell the board is freshly made when it's ordered. I was also able to try a piece of the bruschetta with Poached Figs, Whipped Goat Cheese, Honey & Pine Nuts and it was to die for. If goat cheese is your thing, do not skip out on this one. The whipped cheese is crazy, Amazing texture and flavor. We stopped by a couple of days later for a glass of wine and it was packed but they were nice enough to let us stand on the side enjoying a glass till a seat opened up at the bar. I got a glass of their "house red" which is divine. Great body and perfectly balanced. And did I mention it's only $10?!? Totally worth it. Perfect place to relax and unwind.

Our server, Tiffani was great as well. Our food was great. That artichoke dip had a really different flavor and it was ! Those wings! Yeah....I see why they're winning wings! We even got to see the new Masters champion get crowned too. We stayed to play a few games. Wife beat me in basketball lol. I have no complaints at Eric's. I know where to pull up next time we're in Breckenridge. They should have like some kinda incentive if your name is Eric lol. Free fries or something lol. From Eric to Eric's.... Keep it up!

Service: poor, place was half empty (we came early) but after getting seated we had to wait about 15 minutes to have someone take our drink order. We got our food in reasonable time frame but the table next to us really had to wait. We were served, finished our meal and they still hadn't gotten their meal even though they sat down about five minutes after us. End of meal we had to ask twice for boxes and the check and finally had to chase down our server to get both. Food: very mixed bag here. Pro's: salads good, hummus wrap good, pizza good. Cons: onion rings massively over fried and tasted frozen, not fresh. Nachos had barely any toppings and the chicken was in a ball in the corner of the plate; not spread out evenly. Burger was burnt badly and unedible. Eric's has been a go-to staple for us for 10 years, not any more.

I learned sooooo much from Phillip, I wish I would have taken notes, (bc there was room on the backside of the menu), just another small detail that makes me want to book again!!! He wasn't wrong! His whole team was professional and so much fun to be around. The limo picked us up & Angelique (our hostess) educated us about cannabis and terpenes & food pairing with it. Our first stop was at High Country Healing, where Joe (budtender) overwhelmed us with buds, jars & smells! He made us feel so relaxed We stopped at the eatery to meet with our chef and have an appetizer. He was absolutely amazing and food was scrumptious! Next we went to our private wine tasting & pairing with Susanne (Frisco Wine Merchant). Another great fun educated lesson, she was a hoot! Then we went back to the eatery for our delicious entree & dessert. Also, we had the best Fall scenic route. We LOVED everything about it! We would love to do it again!

We were happy to see that it was an indoor event, since the River Walk Center can go either way. We paid $20 at the door (although could have paid $15 online in advance) and were given tester cups, a spoon, and four tickets to vote for favorites. You go booth to booth, as you might wine or beer tasting, and get your cup filled up. Both green and red chili, both veggie and meat: beef, chicken, pork, and even seafood. Each booth also indicated the level of heat: mild, medium, and hot. After trying one hot, I decided to keep with medium and mild. Everyone from local restaurants to local residents compete, and former winners aren't too modest to show off previous year's trophies. There were probably 50 different booths, each with typically 2 or 3 different chili's to try. Needless to say, you wont go home hungry but you might go home with a stomach ache if you didn't take your Beano beforehand... and I didn't. Some booths have chips and salsa as an added bonus, and some booths offer sour creme, cheese, and onions for some extra fixins. They have bevies for the thirsty (and you will get thirsty), reasonable priced for a festival of this type. Overall, it's a fun environment with people who are excited for you to taste their chili. You are given a wrist band to go in and out of the building, so you can break up your time. The event ran from 3-7 this year, but the time goes by surprisingly quick. The layout of the booths is a little tight, making it awkward to stand and eat your chili in front of the booths. We found that getting a table on the outskirts of the booths to eat and then going in to fill up again was a nice alternative to feeling like you are in the way of other tasters. I hope to return next year. I wish I lived nearby to compete!

A few weeks ago I made a reservation online a day before my visit. I was able to choose what craft I was doing and there is an option for indecisive crafters as well. The next day I walked over from my hotel (it is one block east of Main Street). I checked in and the sales person at the counter said I could look around the pottery room and or head upstairs if interested in other paint projects. When you walk in there is a candle bar to make candles, there is also a retail store. When you head upstairs somebody will take you to your table and explain how to start your project depending what you chose to do. They will give you a small menu if you want any small snacks or beverages. I chose a tile project and others opted to paint ceramics. We crafted for about 2 hours and there was always a person seeing how things were going and to help. Even though everyone was very helpful and kind, Sidney was especially fantastic from start to pick up the next day of our ceramic and tile projects. I think Sidney was really genuine in making sure that our projects would come out great and that we were enjoying our time here. I would suggest if you want to take a break from walking around and shopping this would be the best thing for a little fun time.
