Our party of four stopped here for some wine flights - we had a 2 for 1 tasting coupon that I wanted to use. The winery is on one end of Main Street, and has patio seating (there was live music outside), as well as an interior tasting room. Right off the bat, we didn't think either of the people working were overly friendly, and didn't really make us feel overly welcome. We decided to do two flights of red wine - kind of insane to me that a flight was $40, thank god we had a 2 for 1 discount. The other people in my party also said they'd give the experience a 2 or 3 stars - price was unbelievably expensive (especially when you can go down the street at Carboy and do a flight for half the price). No one was impressed by the service either - for a flight, I'd expect a little more background and explanation of the wines, but the person came and dropped off beakers of all the wine with a quick explanation then left it up to us to pour our own wines. The wines themselves were nothing spectacular either, two from Colorado and two from California grapes (I think) - we liked the blend but that was about it. Unfortunately would not recommend this place to others or come back. read more

I Enjoyed stopping into this winery while visiting Breckinridge--the world's highest elevated winery, which alone makes it a must-see. The wines were great, and I got the tasting fee waived after buying a couple of bottles. I liked the six-wine flight, and they were all delicious. What a treat! Found this winery while in town. Stopped in with my sibling and daughter-in-law for a tasting flight. The wines were DELICIOUS!! I so wish they could ship to Rhode Island because we most definitely would have brought back a case! They have indoor as well as patio seating. The tasting room is warm and inviting. The winery with the highest elevation in the us! A bit outside of Breckenridge they make their wine, they get grapes from all over including California. The inside of this spot was small and cozy but they do live music some nights too. It is nestled a but off the street down a walkway near the Village. I tried a white flight which included a Chardonnay, Orange Muscat, Albarino, and another I can't recall. I liked the Chardonny the best, it was very smooth and mild. I also tried a buttery chardonnay of theirs that was really nice too. Pro tip: When I checked in on yelp I got a free 1oz tasting! read more

Let's start with the Chardonnay was really good! The white wine flight was also "good". They have a good amount of seating- the service was awful and the hostess / service acted like we were a bother to her. The cheese and meat is served to you in a package that you are expected to open and place. I would recommend not getting food or extras here. Great wine! You can get it by the bottle or the glass and they have indoor and outdoor seating. My friend and I highly enjoyed it!

Really enjoyed the vibe and the wines. My California port was like Christmas in a glass- so tasty with a great variety of spices stacked on the pallet. My husband got the Riesling, which he liked but I wasn't a huge fan of- but I am finding the more that we get into wine the more that I prefer reds. Highly highly recommend. read more

We took part in the red wine tasting and it was great! The grapes are from Colorado and California - we enjoyed everything we tried. Outdoor seating available with heaters, and limited indoor seating. The staff brought our entire flight at once so they didn't need to keep visiting our table, but they were available for questions as well. Can't wait to receive more wine as part of their wine club! Fun experience! I enjoyed their sectioned off outdoor seating with a fire pit at each table. It was warm today so I turned mine off but as it gets very warm I'm sure it's nice on colder days or nights! I opted for the white and red tasting. Each tasting is $20 for four preselected wines. The fee is waived if you buy at least two bottles. Each wine was so flavorful! My favorites were the chardonnay (nice and dry) and the red blend. Overall a really nice mix of wines. LEARN TO BLEND WINE! What? Yes! I was shocked to learn I could mix all kinds of varietals from Napa and Paso Robles. Susan was extremely knowledgeable as she taught us how to custom craft our own wine for our individual preferential taste. I have been to Italy, France & Napa for tastings and had the best afternoon learning about their sumptuous local wines. You can make your own, buy more of it, name your fantastic blend and then purchase any varieties of their tasty wines. Don't sign up if you live in Colorado. They have a very difficult time with the concept of shipping wines to your home in Colorado. When you grump and they respond it's still 8 weeks before it's addressed and they try to sell you a different wine of the month club. I happen to have all email correspondence and visa bills for wine charged and still not shipped To be concise - I signed up for wine club delivery mid October. I had to follow up early December as to why I still hadn't received wines. Was told early December "Hi Laura, Yes we will get those wines shipped to you. Glad you decided to remain a club member we have some awesome wines in the pipeline! ". When I followed up today for tracking I was told "Meredith is CCed on this email and will be in touch regarding the tracking number. Our wine shipments have been slightly delayed to prevent damage from the extreme cold here in Colorado and we shipped everything 1 day yesterday and this morning. Meredith: can you please assist Laura. Cheers! " the weather in Colorado was too bitter cold and wouldn't I like a different plan. If I wanted a different plan I would have signed up for it to begin with. It's been 3 months and still don't have the wine I bought mid October. I've been passed around trying to find my wine and the last person said today "have not shipped the wine since mid October was because of the weather, do you want me to wait until after the holidays? Also, if it makes life easier we do offer clubs that are 3 times a year. It is 4, 6 or 12 bottles and you can choose to either pick up in Breckenridge or have it shipped to you. I do find these clubs to be more convenient. Thank you for being a club member and I look forward to hearing from you." DO NOT SIGN UP FOR THE WINE OF THE MONTH CLUB IF YOU LIVE IN COLORADO. Thanks for reaching out, if I wanted a different wine plan i would have signed up for it and if I wanted to pick up in Breckenridge I would have signed up for that as well. None of it I did. My boyfriend and I spent a Friday afternoon at the winery to participate in the blending experiment. It was so much fun, relaxing, and educational at the same time. I SOELY CREATED AN ACCOUNT TO WRITE THIS REVIEW this was the worst service I have ever received. 30 minutes after being seated I had to approach the bar to order a bottle of wine. The servers made no effort to address us at all or tell us about any of the wines. After an hour we flagged down a waitress to get the bill. The waitress tried to charged me for a more expensive bottle and I had to correct the bill.... The wine was nothing to write home about. We went in for a taste , and ended up purchasing two bottles of Continental Divide Petit Verdot! It's a wonderfully balanced wine with dark fruits and spices, it reminds me a lot of the Caravan blend from Darioush. This was a fabulous wine in a great little spot. The place was rustic and clean, organized and sleek. The petit verdot was only $37 a bottle, which we felt was totally reasonable! We're excited to bring this wine home with us to Chicago. read more

Came here for the first time and never will again.... had a reservation and we showed up 10 minutes early and another group was at our table. No problem at all. The waiter said it would be 10min and 1 hour later we're still waiting..... they kept promising that we will get our table in 5 minutes and it never happened. They just let the table ahead of us sit there with empty wine glasses while we were outside waiting in 18 degree weather. They barely gave us any discount for the wine we got while waiting. The wine blending experience was one of my favorite parts about my Colorado trip; inclusive of Denver, Garden of the Gods, Breckenridge, snowboarding, and tubing. John was knowledgeable and gave a great lesson on the various types of grapes and their purposes. It's all red wine which was perfect for me. Me and my 5 friends were able to drink 4 types of wines and essentially make our own using any of those 4. You take home your bottle also. This experience was phenomenal. The staff were so friendly and my friend and I learned so much about wine blending (it was also fun to have a throwback to high school chemistry and play with graduated cylinders and beakers - measuring the meniscus and all)! It was really neat to experience how different the grape varieties can taste when mixed in various ways vs. on their own. The staff definitely poured overly heavy glasses and we left as happy as could be with a bottle our own creation to take home. I would highly recommend this experience to anyone who wants to try something unique in Breckenridge, take a family member who doesn't ski, or really any excuse. Just go! Have fun! read more
