The owner is a scam Artist. I did two 8 hour sessions. And within two years half of the line, Work had fallen out when I went back to him within a year(as the line had already started falling out) and told him he said I would have to pay the full price completely all over again! he doesn't care about his clients only his heavily edited Instagram perception. I have run into several people in the area who have had the same experience!don't get suckered like I did.. he talks the talk, but his work doesn't hold up and if you ask him to touch it up, he will become physically aggressive with you. he's also somewhat of a creepy lurker and if you're attractive, he will definitely make his presence known to you and hover around while you're getting your tattoo. very uncomfortable. read more

I have been to From The Heat Tattoo many times now. It is probably the happiest and liveliest tattoo shop I've experienced in the area. You can tell they really enjoy working together. They make you feel welcome and like you're part of the gang. They have some of the sweetest, friendliest, and funniest female tattooers! I've been tattooed by Jessica Barnes @strangeworksjb multiple times. She always makes sure I'm comfortable and never makes me feel like an inconvenience if I ask to make any changes. She is a very talented artist and skilled tattooer. Jessica designed my custom tattoos to meet every detail I requested and even better than anything I could've imagined. She was fast, with a light hand, giving me a couple of big, beautiful pieces, in a tender spot, rather quickly and with no scaring. I was tattooed by Amber @losthearttattoo while she was still an apprentice. She gave me a flawless tattoo with no damage to the skin. She had a very gentle touch and was surprisingly quick for being so new to tattooing, while still providing a quality tattoo. Amber does beautiful and clean traditional style tattoos, so when my daughter said she wanted an American traditional shark, Amber was the first person I thought of. I'm so glad she was able to fit my daughter in while visiting because she gave my daughter the most beautiful girly shark tattoo and a wonderful experience. I was able to snag a last minute spot with Bailey @bdinks while my daughter had her session with Amber. We were going for something small and quick since we were there for my daughter, not me. Originally intending to choose from her flash to keep things quick and simple, Bailey offered to draw up a custom piece for me. It was absolutely perfect. I was blown away by the amount of detail she was able to get into the tattoo for it's size, and the coloring is incredible. The tattoo is on my ribs, a notoriously painful spot, but my pain was minimal. Now I regret not getting it somewhere more easily seen because it is so beautiful. I haven't had first hand experience with the shop owner, but he must be doing something right to have created such a wonderful environment. He seems to be a great teacher with an eye for talent, too, because his apprentices become really great tattoo artists amazingly quick. The only thing I experienced that was less than positive at this shop is the tight space and lack of privacy. It's something you'll find in a lot of shops, of course. But it can be difficult to maneuver through at times when there's a lot of tattoo chairs in the center pathway. And I did feel a bit like I was on display with my rear end facing the door as each person entered the shop while getting my back thigh tattoo. Oh my goodness, I loved my experience at From the Heart Tattoo! I always passed by it and wondered how it was. So, I did some research and, based on their Instagram page, I realized that Jessica's watercolor art fit perfectly with what I wanted done for my first tattoos. She also seemed very kind, which is what I was looking for in an artist. I had been wanting tattoos for over a decade, so I messaged her and asked if she could do three different ones in one session. She was very flexible and considerate of my schedule. She also let me use numbing cream and gave me tips on how and when to apply it before the appointment. When I arrived, we went over examples of what I wanted done and she provided different options and sizing based on my preferences. She triple checked at every point in the process to make sure that I approved of what we were doing and that I was okay. Even the other tattoo artists that were there were super nice to me while I was there. Afterwards, she cleaned me up and gave me a care package with instructions regarding aftercare for the tattoos. The next morning, Jessica checked in with me over Instagram, which I am so grateful she did. Overall, I loved every part of it and couldn't have asked for a better first tattoo experience. Well..honestly after this shop became from the heart tattoo it's gone downhill. I came here all the time when it was Calreda, Everyone that is there now is rude as hell. I have walked in a few times for estimates , aftercare solutions, just general questions and everyone there is so rude . They give me rude looks when I walk in . I'm going to make sure nobody I know ever goes here again. Being an artist you need to be a decent human being as well. How do you expect to get clients if you are rude.
