I just got a new Model S, Telsa's website recommended plenty of electricians in the Denver area. I reached out to six different vendors to get quotes (mostly the ones with yelp reviews). Half of the vendors didn't respond. Two others responded once or with a three-plus week window for install. MZ Electric was fantastic from the beginning, Tara was my first interaction with the company, her response speed and courtesy was great. She made the introduction to Keith who picked up the phone and called me directly to help walk me through what the options were installing my new Tesla Wall charger. My garage only had 120 Volts running to it, so the plan was to run new wiring from my main electrical panel to the garage to create a sub-panel. Keith was transparent about their cost structure and estimates. Keith quickly put me on the schedule within days to finalize the job. Just a few days later the MZ team lead by Sean show up on time with a reminder the night before and when they were on their way. Two electricians showed up at my house and finished the job quickly and with great quality. We had a few outlets and a light not working. I placed the call and they where very responsive, on the call she explained the service fee 79$ I agreed. We scheduled us for an appointment on Wednesday and called Tuesday with an opening which was great. The technician showed up and stated he would need to do a diagnosis which was another 353$ on top of the 79$. This price was never spoke of, if the 79 is to get them there and they need to diagnose every appointment why not combine the fees? Essential the 79 fee is to lure you in and get you to proceed with the work. 432$ for them to tell you what's wrong then add on your repairs. They are not up front on cost. Hard to find honest companies anymore. read more

They had to run a line from one corner of the house all the way to the other, through the crawlspaces and down into the garage.
