Fun time at Memoire last night. Good music, DJ was great. The dance floor does get crowded after a while so we went to the back where there was more space. Upstairs was a private event so we couldn't check that out. There is couch seating and tables all around the dance floor and there was a bachelorette party group at one of those. The good... small nightclub venue for a concert with reasonably priced show: The bad... acoustics not good. Bar does not serve wine, how is that possible? The act, 50 cent, doors open 10 PM, but he did not come on until 1 am, place closes around 2. There is no room because of the large couches with bottle service surrounding the floor. The jerks at the couches stood on the couches or sat on the backs of the couches so nobody behind them could see. They had way more people for couches than fit and climbed over the backs of couches. They were not only blocking, but vaping all over the place, didn't think that was allowed indoors: nobody corrected this behavior and it ruined the show for many people behind them who had been standing for 3 hours waiting for 50 to come on. My friends and I bought tickets in advanced on ticketmaster as it was only $20 per person as opposed to the almost $40 coverfees at other clubs in Boston. I was glad we bought them ahead as we were able to skip the moderately long line at 11:30 pm given they close at 2 am. Located in a massive casino, there was not a ton of space for the tables located in the middle of the rooms and the slim bar on the perimeter. Drinks were pricey and not very good which is consistent with most places. Songs changed every 30 seconds ranging from throwbacks, new hits, and a sprinkle of latin music. Best place I've found to dance to club music if you're 30+ and don't want to feel out of place, packed in with sweat college kids. $40 admission price helps keep out the riffraff and, being in a casino/hotel, you tend to get a mixed crowd where, sure, its still mostly 20s but also 30s to 50s looking people. Dance floor gets packed but there is a lot of open area around the outside and the bar never gets too busy that you can't find a space to get a drink. Also nice that you can go grab some drinks at other bars in the casino while you wait for Memoire to get going. read more

It's a nightmare to get into this club, which has more to do with the casino it's located in than the club itself. Guests must walk through the casino floor for about 30 seconds to get into Memoire. However, the casino's security have contradictory rules than the club. The club will have events with dress codes, but the casino won't let you through. Our friend group was quite literally told by the casino manager to take off our make up, walk through the casino for said 30 seconds, walk into the club, and put our make up back on. This was for security purposes according to them, because make up prevents them from identifying you. There is no alternative way inside the club than through the casino. We're all doctors and had our healthcare ID's in addition to licenses, but apparently that was not enough identification. The casino manager provided us wipes to take off our make up. *The icing on the cake is that when you finally make it inside the club after wiping your make up off, the security guards inside the club are anti-LGBQT. They stopped my female friend from going into the women's bathroom and discriminated against her. This is due to her dressing masculine and having short hair. She's clearly a masculine lesbian, but they seemed to not understand that she wasn't a male trying to enter a female bathroom. Avoid this place like the bubonic plague. It's a horrible waste of money and time. Their management has not responded to my email in regards to our chaotic night out there. read more

So you have to get your tickets on line at Ticketmaster or you will pay double at the door and have a long line. We entered the club at 11:00 pm And no space on the tiny dance floor to dance. It's a roped off dance floor in the center of VIP seating for $1,000-$3,000! They have servers in the vip that add to the scenery in little skimpy but classy leotard. The crowd was young men were casual while girls tried best to look good. I'm no ten by any means at all but really love love good music. The DJ was one of the worse I have ever heard, his choice of songs were so dated !!! They were songs that were popular in like 2010. Also, the actual DJ Crespo, did not start to play till near midnight. Don't waste your efforts. The bartender and door guy were very very nice to us so no complaints with that. I honestly felt like I was on a cruise ship, the decor is lacks vibe. The massive screen is so pathetic too, a show or something worth looking at would be nice because you cannot watch people dance no room to dance. What is it with the dance clubs today that everyone just stands around. I hear Nelly has played here along with Other high names- those tix are about $100, maybe worth the money. If you think you can renter the club at 1:30, no they shut and closed off the escalators. They have a outdoor smoking area that was handy for smokers and close to the door of the club. TIP- don't stress over what you are wearing. Be prepared to stand no bar stools or even high tops to stand around, the club is located to the right of the casino when you enter main entrance, walk towards the center, when you hit the center, take right, walk to the end and go up the escalators you will see the casual restaurant. Not sure I completely get the one or two star reviews. It isn't perfect, but it also isn't a one star club. We had a great time there on a Thursday, spontaneously decision. Wasn't there for bottle service, but we'd consider going back for that at some point. Some people complained about the drink prices... they really aren't that bad for a Boston club and are comparable to prices elsewhere in Encore. Paid $17 a drink, top shelf, and it was a solid pour. If that seems too expensive then, well, I don't know what to tell you. Bar service was fine. It did get crowded, which should be expected, and I could see why people would want more space in the front near the DJ to dance. Didn't really bother us Despite the crowd it didn't take me too long to get a drink. Staff were mostly fine. One security guard was a jacka*s to us after the show ended at 2. Production was terrific. Saw Tiesto. Great music, lighting, effects. Can't complain about that part of it at all. So I wouldn't rule it out because of the bad reviews, particularly if you're looking to eat/drink/gamble elsewhere in the casino before the club, or if there's a DJ playing that you want to see. Covers can be up to $100 for big names but not usually quite that high. As an aside - not specifically a criticism of Memoire - but Encore needs to up their food game a lot. Several places closed as early as 10pm (with last call at 9:30), we went to the italian place before Memoire (which was good) but a giant plate of pasta is a bit heavy of a meal before going to a club. read more

It does get a bit crowded at times on the main dancefloor but it generally settles down as the night goes on. My husband and I arrived to the club at 10pm. We ordered one drink and were on the dance floor. My friend arrived between 11-1130pm. She tried getting a drink but had a hard time. I told her I would get it for her since we were waiting for Akon to show. I went to the bartender in the middle. When got to the front of the bar a second person arrived to my left and another woman arrived to my right. When the bartender finished the order she was doing she skipped over me and the guy and went straight to the girl to my right. She was making her drinks and speaking to her by first name and asking her about the people she was with, mentioning first names. I told the bartender excuse me but I was first. She ignored me and proceeded to hand over the drinks to the lady. Once done she went over to the guy to the left of me. He told the bartender "She was actually before me" The bartender looked at him and said "Do you want a drink or not?" He looked at me and said "Sorry I tried". My friend over heard and saw what happened and told me she would just get her drink. My friend then comes up to me and said the bartender told her she was not serving her. My friend went to another bartender and was ale to get her first drink. Then when she came back to the dance floor a security guard came up saying I had to leave. This was all during when Akon was already out. My husband and I were walked over near the bathrooms and spoken to. My husband was very upset, I just decided to stay quiet because honestly we wen to encore to see Akon, booked a room and were taken out during the show. After being spoken to for a while the security guard stated we could go back. I'm not sure why I was escorted out and had to miss the sow I prepaid for. I am writing this because if it was due to the bartender she used her power to get me escorted out inappropriately. It left a very bad memory of my night with my husband and makes me very reluctant to ever go back. I have been to this club now 3 times. It is a far drive for me. I was hoping to leave with a good memory and spent a lot of money that weekend staying at Encore. This was a disappointing night and I wish I did not buy tickets to go because it was truly ruined by that incident. This is the worst club I have ever been to!! Absolutely horrible experience and clear discrimination! My friends and I went there tonight to celebrate the holidays and got kicked out after only 30 min because they said we were "too intoxicated," but we each had had 4 drinks or less while gambling and had switched to water once we were in the club. We were not disturbing anyone or anything, just dancing and hanging out and observing many more young, white people that were way more intoxicated than us! We were suddenly removed from the club with no legitimate reason given and my friend was accused of things she did not do. We had paid for tickets to the club and we were not given a refund! My friend is half black and it was clear they were singling her out for no real reason. In terms of what's available for nightclubs in New England this is THE spot. The lighting, speakers, and layout are fantastic. You can get so close to the best DJs, and the cover charge is less than a concert ticket. Also: lasers. The bottle girls are some of the most beautiful humans I have ever encountered and so nice! I came to celebrate a new job and had Drizzy. She was amazing! As for bottle service, you get what you pay for. The prices here are fair for the amenities available and location; free garage parking, free coat check with a table, the casino is always open and there's always a way to get food after. Even ubering out is easy through the casino Valet entrance. The club itself is beautiful and clean, it has two bars and two levels. There's no way to be fats away from a show here. Giving this place 2/5 stars because on 6.19.2021 my friends and I were attending the Cash Cash concert at Memoire but one of my friends was denied entry because he had an expired ID. I felt so bad for him and what's worse is even though his ticket wasn't scanned, there's still no refund! So my friend wasted almost $60 for an event he can't attend. He doesn't even look underage! What I don't understand is how my friends and I entered the casino with our IDs/Licenses just fine but couldn't enter the club?! Makes no sense! In the end my friend was brought home by 2 of my other friends because they have a kid at home and couldn't stay late since Cash Cash didn't come out until 12:30am. Even though a few of my friends missed out on Cash Cash, the rest of us still had a good time. Only thing I wish is they removed the VIP booths that's facing the DJ stage so there's more room to dance on the dance floor. It was so crowded that we barely have room to dance and there was a lot of pushing & shoving. I even had a hard time getting to the restroom because it was next to the bar and there was so many people blocking the way. Either remove the VIP tables that's on the floor or perhaps limit the capacity so it's not too crowded especially on a night when a famous DJ is performing. read more

The atmosphere was nice but I did notice a few people staring at us, perhaps we just had the moves. This isnt a refelection of Encore itself (the staff/service was great everywhere else) but if I could give Memoire 0 stars I would!! My bf & I were on a rare child-free date night, so I convinced him to come check out the club w/ me. I walked up smiling; all excited.. which was apparently unacceptable & suspicious to the "tough guy" bouncer out front of Memoire. Doesn't say anything, just crossed his arms & asked how much we drank.. like we were children! It was humiliating when we're both in our 30's; dressed nicely; not some drunken kids. I answered truthfully that we had 2 complimentary drinks in the casino earlier in the night. He responded, "Should've lied & said none, i cant let you in"... like excuse me!? Obviously they pick/choose/discriminate. I regret not asking for a manager then & there. Especially after I watched him let the 2 girls behind us stumbling all over the place in ni questions asked; barely looked 21 & wearing literal gym clothing. Ridiculous.
