This place was great! You drive in through the back, they seat you down in a clean and comfortable lounge area (with awesome wooden swings outside during nice weather). The oil change was quick, the staff was kind and respectful, they gave me an option of many different types of oil with NO pushiness, and you leave with coupons and a smile. Come to find out that they screwed it up by not making sure not to check for wheel play without the engine being turned on so the power steering unit could send the steering oil throughout the system but their ineptness caused the problem so I took my original gear box to Quality Remanufacturing in Bedford Park IL, to have it redone and I called Jesse at Midas to let him know that I have the original one rebuilt and when can they reinstall it and he tells me that that week they are booked up so I asked for an appointment for the following week and he say fine to let him know so I asked him if there was going to be a Charge for the mistake they caused to my Classic GTX and the Gall of this shop and Jesse when he said they would charge me what they charged me the first time when they screwed up the installation which was about $700.00 Dollars also I asked if I could have the owner Mr. Bratcher of Bratcher Enterprise phone number so we could discus this problem and he said that they couldn't which is understandable so I asked them to give him my number so he can call me at his convenience, that was about a month ago and nothing but Crickets !!! I personally don't recommend this shop ! ..They should be ashamed of themselves !

As I dropped my hubby off to get his car my cars check engine light came on and it bogged down and stayed in 3rd gear and really wasn't moving. I turned my car back around and went back to the shop. I looked at my mechanic and asked him if he could check my car code ...no issues from him ,he grab his machine and hooked it up I had 3 codes. He also took it for a drive (and of course ) nothing happened when we went for a ride. He said I could bring it back anytime and he would take care of me. I have more confidence in this place then any places I have ever gone because they have been honest with me on what I need done and what can wait and that's the type of people I want to deal with! One kid standing there with his hands in his pockets while there's three cars still outside waiting to get in. Another kid said he came in 45 min late because he went to bed at 10:30. Most recent trip, they spilled oil on the engine block and didn't top any fluids. I added 1/2 gallon of washer fluid when I got home. Another time they knocked the front license plate off and left it dangling. I understand these are young men and don't have it all figured out yet, but where is management at this place? I had been told by another mechanic that my alternator was shot and I'd need a new one. The crook wanted to charge me $3200, which I found ridiculous. I couldn't have paid that much anyway. So I brought the car home and it sat out all winter (five months). It was completely dead and wouldn't start. I finally had it towed to T&A to have them take a look at it. Tim called me the next day and said, "I can't find anything wrong with the car, except your battery was about drained" (this "brand new" battery had been installed by the precious crook at Midas, as replacement under warranty). The battery may have been an old dusty one that had been sitting on the shelf for a few years. Tim completely charged the battery, then would not let me pay him one cent. I'm an older lady and we are targets for auto repair scammers. I'm so grateful to know that I can trust Tim to be honest and fair.
