So I wanna send a shout out to Highline Automotive. We just had my husband's car in and they had to do quite a bit of work to it due to the codes....love those. As I dropped my hubby off to get his car my cars check engine light came on and it bogged down and stayed in 3rd gear and really wasn't moving. I turned my car back around and went back to the shop. I looked at my mechanic and asked him if he could check my car code ...no issues from him ,he grab his machine and hooked it up I had 3 codes. He also took it for a drive (and of course ) nothing happened when we went for a ride. He said I could bring it back anytime and he would take care of me. I have more confidence in this place then any places I have ever gone because they have been honest with me on what I need done and what can wait and that's the type of people I want to deal with! When I first went to Jim, I was having trouble with my key starting my Minivan. I had already paid over $300 for a new key fab a few months earlier and was frustrated that it wasn't working. Jim went out of his way to research the problem and told me there was a recall on my ignition/key slot. I went to Dodge and it he was absolutely right and I didn't have to pay a dime. Also Jim didn't charge me anything!! Obviously a lesser mechanic could have "done the repair " and charged me an obscene amount of money....but not Jim. He earned a customer for life. I only bring my vehicle to him and every time I'm very happy with the service. Him and his wife run the shop and they are polite, upfront, honest, and fair in their pricing!! I already have a regular mechanic that I visit, but I was in an emergency situation where my car wouldn't start because my battery was dead, and my mechanic is too far away. I had to be towed somewhere, and I chose Highline based on Yelp reviews. I am sure glad I did! The first day my car wouldn't start, I went to a local auto parts store first to replace the battery. My car wouldn't start the next day after the battery install, so I towed my car to Highline. Jim not only replaced the non-functioning battery quickly, he helped me get my money back from the local auto parts store as they had installed the new battery I bought from them incorrectly. The third day my car wouldn't start again, but I was able to get it a jump, took it to Jim and he was able to figure out the issue - battery drain. Great mechanic, I've had a new exhaust, radiator system, tie rods and control arms, and my brakes done here and no issues 20+ thousand miles later. I also have a 3rd party warranty that only accepts ase certified mechanics which Jim is, and was able to do the tie rods and control arms for only my deductible!
