I have been a customer for over 20 years I took all my families cars to them and would recommend…read morethem to family and friends !.. but something happen when I took my 1969 Plymouth GTX for a gear box replacement, Well the master Tech installed it and it developed a leak by the power steering reservoir and they couldn't tell me why the leak happen and they couldn't figure it out and started to give me run around and making all sorts of excuses and finally gave up on me ! Come to find out that they screwed it up by not making sure not to check for wheel play without the engine being turned on so the power steering unit could send the steering oil throughout the system but their ineptness caused the problem so I took my original gear box to Quality Remanufacturing in Bedford Park IL, to have it redone and I called Jesse at Midas to let him know that I have the original one rebuilt and when can they reinstall it and he tells me that that week they are booked up so I asked for an appointment for the following week and he say fine to let him know so I asked him if there was going to be a Charge for the mistake they caused to my Classic GTX and the Gall of this shop and Jesse when he said they would charge me what they charged me the first time when they screwed up the installation which was about $700.00 Dollars also I asked if I could have the owner Mr. Bratcher of Bratcher Enterprise phone number so we could discus this problem and he said that they couldn't which is understandable so I asked them to give him my number so he can call me at his convenience, that was about a month ago and nothing but Crickets !!! I personally don't recommend this shop ! ..They should be ashamed of themselves !

Took my car to this Discount Tire on a Wednesday morning as a walk in to get a flat fixed. Its quite a drive for me being down on 95th street so wanted to check before making the trek down After pulling into the parking lot, I went into the lobby area where I was quickly tended to. The associate took my name and phone number down and I was placed into an online queue that was texted to me. This link gives you a live status of your visit, including estimated service completion time (apparent its a newer system and can be inaccurate, was the case for me, seems to overestimate) After waiting about 15 mins, they called me up to ask what service im looking to do and recorded some info to set up a profile. Then sat back down to wait until my vehicle and tires could be taken a look at by the technicians, which was shortly after (wasnt too busy this morning fortunately) They seemed to be working on 4 to 5 vehicles at a time max. Ultimately the service itself took about an hour (longer than i thought), so overall i spent about 90 mins here to get my flat fixed free of charge, which im pretty satisfied with. I expected to need to wait a lot longer especially with free services being offered, which Id imagine can be the case on busier days/times of day so something to be wary of and plan for. They accept appointments as well so thats always an option Everything from arrival to servicing to leaving felt seamless - the attention, communication, and quality of service was spot on and I felt cared for during my visit (they even offered bottles of water for everyone waiting in the lobby :'). I could tell the staff here are trained in customer service from observing the interactions with other patrons while waiting, in addition to my own personal experience of course
