Ok so I'll try not to tell my car's life story but it's part of why I like this place so much. Prior to coming to NBA, I had someone install a full system of amps, subs, and components. That initial installer turned out to be pretty crappy at his job but I didn't realize it until quite a bit later. Door speakers stopped working, wires were hanging out of places they shouldn't have, and the balance/fader locations weren't even right. I then took it to a reputable and expensive shop with the request that they troubleshoot the issues and fix them. This shop was not able to find a solid solution within a full day but of course I still had the bill for labor. Now fast forward to my third attempt with the car but first experience with NBA. Within a few hours all issues were found and fixed. Stereo sound is beautiful now and they installed a backup camera to boot. I can easily say this is the only place I will take my car for electronic stuff. read more

Did business here in the past and it went well. This last time I was sold on some power base speakers and a car deck. They sold me power base speakers for $85 which can be found on amazon for $39.99. My door speakers eventually cut in and out, so I took my car to a different place to get an amp, new car deck and 6 alpines and installed. They showed me the power base speakers after everything was installed. They did not work because when they were installed, they pinched part of the plastic in the door. So now those are garbage. Also the car deck they sold me could not connect to a second amp to power 4 speakers in my car. This was never explained to me before they installed as a possible problem if adding additional amps/speakers. So I had to get a new car deck as well. Unfortunately lost about $400. read more

The person who worked on my car was the most condescending person I may have ever met in my life. I thought I'd give a small business a shot before going to a chain store. But that was a mistake. 1st time customer and last time customer. George you might want to put cameras with audio on your employees to see how they are representing your business. I wasn't the only dissatisfied customer I saw in my short time at this business. The person you have working there acts as if he despises his job and despises customers walking in the door. NBA Auto Stereo. Doesn't get any better than this! I have been coming here since 2012. I have had 3 cars done here. The first thing that I appreciate about NBA, is that they are super knowledgeable about every car. They will offer you different price options depending on A: Your budget B: What is practical and what will sound good C: If price was no object and you could get the best of everything-here are options. They will NEVER take advantage of you, and if they have deals, Jorge (the owner) or James (Chief Technician) will offer them to you. I recently bought a Challenger Hellcat, which I intend on keeping for a long time. I walked in and said "Jorge, this stock system sounds absolutely like shit and I want to rip everything out and do it all over." (I am a professional musician and I listen to everything from soft jazz vocals and solo guitar recordings through funk, rock, jazz fusion, & country.) So my needs are demanding, becasue I want to have the system sound really great and very musical with every type of music. The only thng is that the head unit has to stay because it integrates the radio and media controls withe heat, other car controls as well, so head unit cannot be replaced. We replaced front and rear speakers with high end 2 way speakers with crossovers, added a 4 channel class AB Zapco 150W RMS per channel amp to power those speakers. They built a custom 2-10" speaker cabinet which gooes in the trunk facing forward for subwoofers with a 1000W Mosconi sub amp. Plus an Alpine processor which is controlled by a computer to tweak and program all the frequencies. After completion, James sat in the car with me for an hour programming the processor while we went back and forth comparing different musical styles and combinations, with the car's tone controls set flat; therefore enabling me to push any one of those frequencies if I happen to have some music that needs some additional help-possibly an older recording or whatever the case may be. I have had MANY car systems that sound great...but NOTHING that sounds like this one. CRYSTAL CLEAR at any sound level, even with the car's super loud exhaust system. I cannot say enough about the excellence and neatness of their work, as well as their dedication to excellence and pricing incredibly reasonable and fair. Why would I EVER go ANYWHERE else? Nobody I have ever sent there has ever been disappointed with the quality of the work or the fairness of their prices. Not only that , but the professionalism and work is always delivered in the time frame they quote. On a scale of 5 stars beng the very best, they get 20 in my book! Initially I came in because my driver side door wasn't locking/unlocking. So far I am pleased with how knowledgeable the employees are here. I was informed by James that whoever installed my alarm previously did it incorrectly. He didn't try to sell me any thing i didn't need. So i had 2 options. 1 was simply to remedy the wiring issue but I told him to just change out both actuators so he said the wiring remedy would be included with the install. Done. Denis claimed everything came with his Corrolla, then Ecllipse, and finally Integra --like he made good car "DEAL"skills... no man it was THESE guys. See, Denis was a NBA sports fan wannabe that salivated over his cousin Nikita's knowledge so he pawned it as his own learning about these guys sports and basically anything he knows in life LOL. See, this owner is from L.A. and was even featured in a magazine after gaining such a reputation working on over 104 NBA celebs expensive vehicles. I had tinting next door and was directed to these guys. I pieced together they are the BEST around by far with NO cheap wire work that could unravel in a few years, like other guys. I myself had just recently gotten a two-way security system put in my car and door motor that compliments my security system so it auto opens when I unlock --I don't have power doors/locks. Very reasonable price especially, for work done in just a few hours total. They are always working on cars and impressing people with how good their audio systems sound because every one knows. Also, my door handle backing was cracked before they did work and the crack grew because it's around the screw to piece the car handle and parts back together. I brought in a recently purchased used Mercedes to have its aftermarket stereo wiring looked at; a prior owner had installed a JVC stereo and wired it improperly. Within seconds of arriving, Mr. Jorge Granados greeted me and asked what he could do, and I explained my problem. He took a look at the stereo, confirmed my problem and told met that it was likely mis-wired, quoting me a modest $20 to fix the wires. After opening it up, his staff found that the wiring was done with household screw-type connectors, instead of more appropriate connectors for car stereos. They offered to either fix it with the existing connectors or to upgrade it to proper connections, and I agreed to let them fix it all the way, for $25 more. The work was done correctly, within a few minutes and while I waited. The staff were professional, courteous, and willing to work with me. The staff also noticed that I had a Bluetooth capable phone and made suggestions about upgrading the stereo to a relatively inexpensive Pioneer which would allow me to stream music and make phone calls while driving. I found their advice very helpful, and they weren't pushy about buying a new radio, which I greatly appreciated. So 1) the prices were reasonable for the services performed; 2) the service was quick and friendly; 3) they did the work right; and 4) no high pressure sales pitches. Really, you can't ask for more than that. I'll probably go back next month and get that Pioneer radio, because I had such a good experience this first time. read more

Well where to start....I called and talked to Kyle. He was nice and gave me a good quote and assured me that this was the price I would pay as soon as the work was done. I liked the fact the pricing seemed straight forward with no hidden "lab" or "maintenance" fees. However, before I left my house I called to make sure all the parts they said they ordered were actually there so I didn't drive there for nothing. Kyle again answered and said he had to go pick them up because they were not delivered but to head on over and they could start wiring everything up and we would be good to go when he got back. He made it seem like he was just down the road and we would still be on point for about a 2 hour install. 2:30hrs in he finally arrives with the stuff needed to finish everything. Had I known it was going to take this long I would have waited and done it on a different day. Because of the delay, the entire thing took closer to 4 hours. read more
