We originally had NH Appliance Madness come out about a year ago to check out why our fridge wasn't getting cold. Anthony was able to diagnose and fix within an hour. He then went above and beyond and fixed the ice maker door, which took about another hour. Anthony only charged us for a service call ($85.00). We were flabbergasted!! He is very personable and professional. He doesn't try to oversell! Today we had NH Appliance Madness come out again to check our dryer, which wouldn't even turn on. We had checked all the circuit breakers and couldn't find anything wrong there. Anthony was able to discover that there was no power going to that power outlet by moving our drying across the cellar floor to another outlet which made the dryer run. This meant that there was nothing wrong with our dryer (which is about 9 yrs old). Anthony then told us that he was only going to charge us 1/2 the service call fee because there was no actual problem with the dryer!! Again...we were totally surprised and very impressed! Not only did he NOT try to invent a problem that didn't exist....he also didn't charge us the total service call fee! I HIGHLY recommend Anthony and NH Appliance Madness. Called Anthony on the Friday before a long holiday weekend requesting an appointment. He fit me in the same day and showed up at the expected time. Unfortunately, he was not able to diagnose the problem on the first visit due to the fact that I spaced it and didn't mention that it was a stacked unit. My husband separated the stacked units that night and Anthony came promptly the next day (a Saturday). Anthony quickly discovered that there were foreign objects in the pump and no parts were needed. This was a relief as it looked like either the pump or the circuit board would need replacing. He quickly got the machine back up and running. Hooray! I totally appreciated the honesty and service, as Anthony could have easily scammed me for new parts or more labor charges. The total for my bill? Nothing more than the service call charge of $84.95. Kind of amazing, especially considering it's a Saturday AND a holiday weekend and I'm sure he could justify an up-charge. So glad I called them! I saw the great reviews, and they did not disappoint. Our dishwasher broke right before we were supposed to close on our townhouse. It was horrible timing, as we only had a little bit of time to get it fixed before the walk through (since the home had to be in the same condition or better than when it went under contract.) Anthony came out and took a look--it was not going to be an easy fix. He showed me exactly what was happening and explained the test so I could feel confident he had made the right call as to what needed to be fixed. He ordered the part and came out to install it the same day it arrived, saving me just in the nick of time. He was more than fair with his pricing, and offered a limited warranty on parts and labor for the repair, which I was able to pass along to the new homeowner, setting their mind at ease. I cannot believe the service I got today from Appliance Madness. EXCELLENT! The technician came to my home, wiped his feet and put on boot covers. BOOT COVERS!!! on top of that he had a mat that he put his tool bag on to protect my floor from scratches. He answered all my questions and was on time and called 30 minutes before he got there just like he said. He moved my refrigerator and cleaned behind there and I'm talking about the floor!!! not just the coils even when I said I would, he insisted. He diagnosed the problem and fixed my refrigerator within the 30 minutes he was there and did not charge extra for labor. Prices are more than reasonable and honestly I just found my new appliance repair company (hopefully I wont have to call again for a very long time) my personal recommendation to all my family and friends for now on is NH Appliance Madness. Outstanding! Had the perfect tools and knowledge! I called NH Appliance Madness on Friday afternoon, and he was out on Wednesday morning as promised. Our handyman did not remove all the shipping bolt from our new Samsung washer, prior to stacking the dryer on it. As a result the first load of wash caused the entire stack to rotate and walk. He has exactly the right tools so one person can install and stack a washer dryer set! He took the time to verify exactly where we wanted the stack to sit. He had to unstack the dryer to access the back of the washer. Not only did he remove the shipping bolts, but checked the level side to side and front to back! He restacked, then made sure all the machine screws were in place to secure the dryer to the washer! Before cleaning up, he used the service modes to verify that everything was working perfectly! read more

I had an issue with my washing machine and I was highly impressed that NH Appliance Madness was able to come out and repair my machine the same day that I called. Other places had a two or three week waiting time. The technician that came to my house was knowledgeable and was able to diagnose and fix the problem in a speedy time frame. The technician answered all of my questions about the process as he was working. I didn't feel like he left me out of the process, but included me in a friendly manner as he worked. He even gave me some preventative tips to prevent the same problem in the future. Last Friday, after spending $300 on groceries, my refrigerator just up and dies. No power, nothing. I called four different repair companies. The first three told me they could not get to me until Monday or Tuesday. They wouldn't even hear what was wrong. The fourth place I called was NH Appliance Madness. 5 stars! We called because our refrigerator water dispenser stopped working and our dryer was also having issues (no heat/not drying). For a very fair fee, Anthony came and looked at both issues for us. He quickly figured out the water dispenser problem and fixed it, and also spent well over an hour looking into our dryer problem (at no extra cost to us). We had to wait about 10 days for the dryer part that was needed (unavoidable) and Anthony came back as soon as it came in and he fixed our dryer without issue. He is extremely knowledgeable as well as professional and courteous. His prices are more than fair for the quality work he does. They did a call ahead to let me know the technician was on the way.
