I've been coming to V Tech for years for auto repairs. My dad and other relatives have also used…read morethis shop. It is located across from the plaza with the Piggly Wiggly and Value Village and is easy to miss if you are not careful. Mr. Lee and the mechanics are very knowledgeable about cars and offer fair prices even if they can still be high at times. You can request a diagnostic of the problem for a fee of $29-50 and choose to opt out of the service if it is too much. I like to do this because the mechanics will check everything and then Mr. Lee will provide you a quote with a break down of all costs from the diagnostic, parts and labor. You also have the option to purchase and provide them with your own parts and pay for labor only. There were times in the past that my dad and I were able to do this with prior repairs for older vehicles and this saved us money too. I find that the rates that Vtech offers are much lower than the dealership and other popular places as it pertains to services such as alignments, break services and sensor replacements. However, prices have increased a bit more since the pandemic. On my most recent visit my husband had his rotors repaired and I had a sensor replaced. I was also provided a quote for tires and alignment. I will return for the alignment in the near future, but had to go elsewhere for the tires because he did not have them available on the same day. I recommend that you arrive early (before or by 9 AM) on any day that you go so that you can get in and out faster, especially on Fridays and Saturdays. They are extremely busy on weekends and if you come later in the day then they may tell you to come back Monday. Another thing that I like about this location is that they have Wi-fi and a seating area. You can work remotely or keep yourself busy with your electronics because of this set up. Overall, this is a trustworthy shop to use and the work has been good 9/10. Whenever, we've had issues after a repair we would communicate with Mr. Lee and they will work to resolve in a timely manner. I will be back should I need a repair or routine maintenance for my car!

VERY racist especially Brandi she threw an invoice at me when I began to ask questions about my…read morevehicle at the desk. Hung up on me and my father multiple times. When I came to get my car she was very rude after she threw the invoice there was no explanation of it and she told me I could leave. Afterwards when I mentioned that I was not pleased how she was talking to me she began banging on the table and screaming at me. We had a back and forth and then she came from behind the counter charging at me. Her father and brother had to hold her back then proceeded to say they were going to call the police on me when she was the aggressor. WORST EXPERIENCE I've ever had & to top it off my tires were flattened although it was never listed in the invoice and they were two new tires!!!! This is a business I would never recommend to anyone with good intentions.

I had my car towed to Clayton Auto Service for a diagnostic after loosing control of my vehicle…read morewhile going around a curve, and was trying to go through my warranty. Brandy LIED & told my warranty that I hit a curb. She was already flustered and moving at a pace where she fucked up and misheard me. She called me back stating that the warranty wouldn't cover it because "I did the damage" I simply asked her to call the warranty company saying she misheard me, due to the fact that I DID NOT HIT A CURB. I SAID TO BRANDY OVER THE PHONE THAT I WENT AROUND A CURVE AND LOST CONTROL OF MY VEHICLE. She then proceeded to tell me that she wasn't going to call them and that she wasn't going to lie for me. I NEVER TOLD HER TO LIE. I TOLD HER TO AT LEAST CORRECT HERSELF FOR SAYING THE INCORRECT INFORMATION. She told me to deal with my warranty on my own and hung up on my face. She needs to slow down and really listen to customers instead of hurrying off the phone. They found the issue, but I decided not to move forward with the repair at that time. Instead of simply billing me for the diagnostic, they wrote rude personal comments about me directly on my invoice, claiming I was "hard to deal with" and saying they "will no longer do business" with me. That's completely unprofessional and unnecessary. All I did was ask questions and decide to delay repairs, which is a customer's right. If this is how they treat customers, imagine how careless they are with your car. They clearly don't value respect, honesty, or professionalism. Spend your money somewhere that actually deserves it.
