I wont come back here. I booked my daughter for nails for her prom with Nong. Then Nong didn't even do them. I booked with her for a reason. The nails were fine but not what I made an appt for. I had a pedi. It was just ok. I have had better. The lady was sweet but I just didnt feel relaxed. Since it was our first time there I had to pay a $25 deposit each. She charged my card so fast that I wasn't able to see that the deposit was factored in until after she ran the card. When I told her she voided the charge and said she didn't notice that we had put a deposit down.... So now I am stuck with that $108 charge on my debit card until it falls off along with the new charge. Yes I know I will get that 108 back but it will be a few days according to the bank. If I want paying attention they would have gotten the deposit plus the full cost of the services. Instead of cost minus what I had already paid. I will be going back to Blue Sky. The only reason I booked here was because it was easy to book online. read more

Had an appt today with Nong and she was amazing. It was my first time there. I had a fill on existing acrylic and wanted a red tip French look. ( the acrylics I had on had ombré so was nervous about it showing through and looking bad so we had a backup of just painting red ) through conversation and chat we decided to elevate the look to what's shown in the photos and I couldn't be happier!!! She was absolutely amazing and I'm so happy I put my trust in her! I recommend booking an appt online as they can get busy... good work/ good places usually are.... I went with my daughter for 2 pedicures. Know one offered us any water or anything. No conversation from my nail tech at all as I don't think he speaks English. My daughters feet were done in less then 10m!!! As I was getting me feet done a white lady came in to get her nails done, oh an by the way I am Black. As soon as the white lady sat down the nail tech that completed my daughters nails kindly offered her water or Moscato!!! Really I work very hard for my money and the cost of a pedicure doesn't change from one person to the next an so customer service shouldn't! The salon is a hit or miss. I have had wonderful experience with the ladies for mani and pedis. My nail appointments are my "me" time so I want a peaceful experience. I have gone 3 times with appointments with an appointed person but I get stuck with the male in the workplace. First, I like to build a relationship with my provider so it hard when they change script like that. Second, the male is soooo aggressive on your nails. He will used the nail file tool to remove the fake nail as well as your top layer or two of nail. He has a personal need to for speed so the whole experience is like a NASCAR pit stop Vs spa treatment. After getting 4 nails files down to paper and cut with the clippers, I got no apology or discount so I don't want to risk going in to have him ruin my nails. read more

I should have read reviews before making an appointment here. Please read this one. Yes, the salon is clean (other reviews), but that is the last positive thing said here. My first visit, March 2022, was "OK" at best. I was not greeted when I entered on time for my appointment; I sat & waited 20 minutes without a word from anyone. I didn't see bottles of polish, as is typical, to choose my pedicure color, so I simply sat & waited. When the nail tech finally called me to a chair & I hadn't selected a color, she explained that the polish color "is the jars of powder". The "powder" situation was new to me, & I needed few minutes to select. The pedicure "treatment" was mediocre, & when slipping on my sandals, several nails rubbed; the polish had to be cleaned & redone. My nail tech was sweet, but because she started 20 min after my scheduled time, a slight delay to select a color, & mishaps in the polish process, I did not have time for a manicure as I had a schedule to keep. I asked the tech to trim my cuticles, & I was out the door (sad face here :( Thinking we all need a 2nd chance, I scheduled a 2nd appt at N Spa Nail May 19th, mani/pedi again. While waiting I saw "books" on the table with nail sample colors. The nail tech (same sweet gal as my 1st visit) retrieved several bottles of polish for me & I finally selected one. Early into my pedicure, the nail tech asked me to wait a few minutes while she used the restroom. The wait seemed long, & I later learned why. While she was gone I noticed old polish on my nails that had not been removed (would she have painted over it?) and a few other nail issues. I pointed these out when she returned, which she remedied, and moved along quickly to the polish-- NO lotion, NO leg or foot massage; NO hot towel wrap like previously; NO, NO & NO. As the toe polish dried, she began the manicure in the same chair rather than at a hand station (several were available). She trimmed my cuticles "dry" & when I questioned the process, she said that my cuticles weren't bad, & she could take care of them dry. Truth be told, my cuticles are always a mess -- my main reason for an occasional manicure, because I can't trim them myself. She finally moved me to a hand station, filed the nails & began painting. Wait! Now I realize: NO soaking of the cuticle to soften for trimming; NO hand & arm massage with lotion; NO time to find the color I requested, "Bubble Bath" (a basic neutral all salons have. She said she couldn't find it, & would "this color" be okay?) As I processed all the shortcuts in both the pedicure & manicure, I questioned her about the situation. She told me that when she used the restroom, the salon owner took her aside, told her my appt was taking too long, & to cut these corners. I was FURIOUS! I did not blame my nail tech, but was furious that the owner told her to cut these corners, but charge me full price. She had already started polishing my fingernails & could sense my rage. She apologized over & over, and she sincerely hated that my experience was so awful. She said that she would remove the polish, use lotion, and start the polish over. NO thank you! I told her that I would like to speak to the owner, but she said the owner had left for the day. I told her that I did not intend to pay the full price for the service, & I asked for the owner's phone number -- not the salon number. Very embarrassed by the situation & continuing to apologize, she painted my fingernails. Usually, before painting, the nail tech allows the client to pay for services & get their car keys out of their purse, so that clients aren't fumbling in their purse for money, credit cards, & keys with freshly painted nails. But not today. I managed to get cash out of my wallet to tip my nail tech -- this situation was not her doing, but the owners. She tried to refuse my cash tip, but I insisted. However, I insisted on a discount on the services, which was discounted $5.00 -- a whole $5.00 discount for my complete aggravation, frustration, & waste of my time. I think the entire appointment should have been comped. After I left, I was frustrated with myself that I actually got out my credit card & paid any amount at all. And, yes, my fingernails were a mess before I ever left the salon from fumbling in my purse. (Can you sense steam coming from my ears?) A few days later (a cooling off period needed), I called the owner's phone several times, which she didn't answer. I called the salon's number, and asked to speak with Nong, the owner; the person who answered said, "She's busy". When I asked when is a better time to call or would she return my call, she said, "She's busy, for like the whole day." A phone conversation might have saved this scathing review, but I guess no time for proper services & no time for a phone call. I will not return. read more

My daughter & I tried to give this relatively new biz several tries. The final decision to go elsewhere came tonight when, once again appointment time does NOT matter. At our 1st visit, the owner told us how important an appointment is, rather a rushed "walk in" mani. Every single time we have had appointments, we have been kept waiting significant amounts of time. Tonight, after waiting 15 minutes after our scheduled time, & services to other customers nowhere near completion we left. I decided to give this place a try because it was on my way home. Big mistake. Here's my list of things not to do: 1. Don't cut the customer. When you do, don't paint over the nail. 2. Don't disparage other customers. They pay your tips and salary. 3. If your kids are there, please ask that they be polite and not snarl at the customers. 4. If your employees have nothing to do, maybe have them serve the customer a bottle of water? Or at least go in the back to play on their phones. 5. Shape the nails as the customer desires. 6. If you recommend a polish and the customer agrees to try it, go get the polish. Don't make the customer try to find it. read more

My mother & I have gone here several times, the owner is in a new location & told us she prefers appointments. We made an appointment every time & had to wait 30+ minutes before sitting down. This last time my mother & I had enough because they weren't even close to being done. We went to a new nail salon where I was going to have my tips & Acrylic touched up & having to have 3 nails that broke the day before repaired & to find out that only 3 weeks into having them they were done poorly that the new place said you should just take them off or you'll get a fungus & you can where they're all lifting.. to say the least I was livid, I spent a lot of money & have never been told after 3 weeks they need to come off because they're lifting terribly & I'll get a fungus.. so if I went back to them would they have fixed it the right way.. probably not because my mother & I already felt like just a number to Nong. read more
