Online, however, I can thoroughly attest to either the predatory nature OR in the best case scenario, neglectfulness of Get Yok'd. My significant other and I have a fondness for the Raspberry Cream Ghost flavor. As it is a limited time flavor, it is quite hard to find literally anywhere. Searching online yielded few results, but a promising offer from Get Yok'd showed that they had a 12 pack of the flavor in stock on their website, and at a competitive value, no less. Naturally, I jumped at the opportunity to purchase the pack and have it delivered to my home. Please note that it is key that on their website and throughout checkout, I was actively purchasing the RASPBERRY CREAM flavored ghost. As soon as the order was placed, I checked my email for a confirmation and at a quick glance you can clearly see the image of the raspberry cream flavor that I ordered, however it is also very easy to overlook the "original" next to the image, which to my dismay I did. Upon arrival, I was both surprised and frustrated to see that the flavor we were so excited for was simply the original flavor. I immediately sent an email to the support team and waited patiently over the weekend and a couple more business days for a response. There has been no response since posting this review. Whether this is intentional on the part of Get Yok'd or simply just a misunderstanding, the evidence provided and my experience as an online customer, paired with the fact that any returns have you paying for shipping AND a 25% restocking fee has me feeling that the former is more likely. I've had bad experiences in stores before, but at the very least every store has done what a store was supposed to do in the end: give me the product I paid for. This is the only time I have ever made an account with specific intention to write a review. If you are reading this and considering buying something from Get Yolk'd online as a first time buyer, please find a different store and don't let what happened to me happen to you.

Almost all the employees remember me by name and greet me when I walk in, which is really sweet and much appreciated. They also offer free in-body check-ins every Thursday (I believe) and hold small competitions throughout the year to get their customers involved; which I think is fantastic. Honestly, there's nothing they could improve. It's always a pleasure to stop by.

They make their own green smoothies and juices in glass bottles, but there's also local branded magnesium teas, adaptogens, sparkling waters, etc. LOTS AND LOTS of vegan options. Great selection of teas and medicinal herbs and pure oils meant for the skin. I picked up some grapeseed oil and snacks. Some of the prices here are cheaper than whole foods, but some are more expensive. I really love Rainbow Acres, but some of their prices can be expensive. However, when factoring in the quality, freshness, and how the food is SIMPLE AND CLEAN AND HOPEFULLY AS ETHICAL AS IT CAN BE, it justifies the prices. The employees are always helpful, so it does help to imagine that the higher prices go to them as well. I'm really happy that this place exists. It's not pretentious and makes clean eating accessible for anyone.

It's been part of my routine, and I've always trusted the quality. Unfortunately, my last visit completely changed that. I found a dead fly in my salad, which was honestly so disgusting and upsetting. It's hard to overlook something like that, especially from a place I come to so often and rely on. What made the experience even more frustrating is that I reached out through the online contact/question form and never heard back from anyone. A response or acknowledgment would have gone a long way. Because of this experience, I don't feel comfortable coming back. It's really disappointing, but finding something like that in my food is something I just can't get past.
