BUYER BEWARE ‼Disappointed with this shop... they WAY OVERCHARGE. The owner was hard core trying to sell anything he could to us, and on top of that I looked the items up and some of them were listed for as much as HALF the price online. Part of his sales pitch was that he would give me a discount and then he continued to charge me full price, NOT on a POS system... just typed a random number into the credit card machine, and charged me more then we agreed on. I brought it up to him and he got flustered and said he would do a diet plan for me and just to email me. He NEVER responded to me when I emailed... so not only will this place scam you but the products left me feeling sick. ..... forgot to add I asked if he had organic protein/product and he said " define organic" - that answer says it all. I was so suspicious when he said this but I gave him the benefit of the doubt and told him exactly what organic was even though a nutrition specialist should know this.... and he said "yeah we don't have anything organic." WHY WOULD YOU WASTE MY TIME AND HAVE ME EXPLAIN SOMETHING YOU KNOW YOU DONT HAVE IN STORE. I know why, he was testing to see how foolish the person he was talking to was. Granted, I am in WeHo where health stores are bountiful. However, after stopping in many of them, I actually stayed and purchased my protein from here. The sales associate was extremely helpful and he actually looked like he works out and knows what he is talking about... You'd be surprised how many non-healthy people work at these places. Terrible selection. Terrible location. Terrible service. In other words, this place is just terrible. I walked in after a workout down the street and granted, I was a little tired and probably hungry. That's also why I probably fell for the high pressure sales routine by the sales guy on steroids who could tell that I'm not an expert on protein powders, so he sold me probably the most expensive one in the place. I realized later that I really didn't need this level of protein mix and called to see if I could return it. Was told that I because I was calling on the 7th day after the purchase that I couldn't make a simple return even though I hadn't opened the protein powder container and it is still sealed. His explanation for no refund was lame as was his ability to try to sound honest about it. This is a place for random customers who don't seem to know much about nutrition and can be mislead by high pressure sales. Go to Power Zone or N101 Fitness instead for better customer service and sales people who aren't just interested in the quick sale. They actually care about building a better customer base. I made a mistake in going to this place, I won't make that mistake again. And this probably explains why this place is almost always empty while the other places nearby are busy. read more

I'm editing my review to clarify after owner's response as his story is missing the important details. I told the sales person I'd like to try the taste of the BCAA cause I don't like too strong artificial flavor. He made me a sample in a cup which I sipped from and put it back cause he never explained I can take it with me. I asked him for a 'powder' sample, not mixed in water. He "No, take this one". I was polite and explained to him that I would like the powder sample so I can mix it before I workout tomorrow and try it while working out and see if it'll make me nauseous or not. He replied again saying "No, that doesn't make sense". I politely responded saying "no problem, thank you" and I walked away. I have no issue with him refusing my request. I had an issue with his tone which was disrespectful and dismissive and responding to my request as if I'm an idiot to ask for such a thing which was offensive. He didn't even smile for a second the entire time I was in the store. I tell the side of my story. Owner will always deny cause its negative. That's normal. No offense taken. Just had to give this sales guy a rating that is equivalent to the service he provided me. If I don't do my job properly, I should not be mad if people give me bad rating. C'est La vie. As for my other 1-star reviews, you can count those on one hand. I normally don't review my experiences even if they were not good. I only write review about 'disrespectful' service I receive. So three 1-star reviews in the past couple of years doesn't confirm what you're implying here. I have total 4 reviewers; 3 of which are 1-star and one is 5-star. Jeff worked with me for a long time picking out all these products to help me get through a plateau in my lifting. It's only been a week and I am getting so many compliments.
