After doing some checking on yelp and google reviews, I came across Albo moving. Their reviews were really good, and they were close to my parent's house where I was living at the time. I reached out via cell and Alex responded the same day asking for more info. I texted it all to him. The next day he emailed me a quote and laid out all the info. The pricing was very fair, and based on his quick response time and great reviews, I decided to hire them. I am very glad that I did. My move went extremely well. I hired 2 movers and a 20-foot truck. Eugene and Serg were great. They clearly communicated their arrival time and kept me updated via text. There were 2 pick up locations - my storage unit and my parent's house. They had everything from storage wrapped and packed into the truck in 2 hours. Then we went to my parents for a few more things, we were out of there in under an hour. They drove to Jersey City and then had the entire truck unpacked and moved in and all the packing material cleaned up in 3 hours. It was an extremely hot day and the guys worked really hard and very quickly. I could not be more grateful to Alex and his team for the excellent job, and I would definitely hire them again for my next move. This is absolutely the height of irresponsibility and unprofessionalism for a service that is all about trust and timelines. Confirmed the arrangements one week before then contacted Lisa to confirm again the day before. On day of the move "No Show" by 10 a.m. Called Lisa, she told she is not in the office but she will call the office to find out what was going on. She called back to tell me to call the main number & to ask for Lou, the owner. She assured me that some one would pick up the phone. After many rings, someone did pick up. Only it's not Lou, but Dave. He said that he would check the schedule & get back to me. This went on till mid afternoon. When Dave finally called back, he said the truck broke down in Lawrenceville. At 4 p.m. a small rental truck show up & told the driver the truck was too small & would not accommodate my things. I told them I would made other arrangements. The movers called Dave, he asked to speak to me & tried to convince me otherwise. I called AAA to make have them find a mover & made arrangements for the move the next day. My family and I used Zip to Zip Moving for our interstate relocation, storing our household inventory temporarily while securing our permanent residence. From the start, we experienced major friction with unexpected and drastic price increases that required hard negotiations just to bring down to a semi-reasonable level. Unfortunately, that pushback resulted in direct retaliation from staff. We provided our new permanent address and delivery instructions multiple times, only to find out that a representative named Lucas intentionally failed to log or update our information in the system, leaving us stranded out of the delivery queue and forcing us to sleep on air mattresses in an empty townhome. When we finally secured a written email confirmation for delivery between Monday and Wednesday from another representative, a staff member named Noah called with an arrogant, bullying attitude, trying to gaslight us with a sudden, zero-notice Sunday ambush delivery. When we held firm to our written delivery window, Noah and the team escalated to blatant extortion--threatening to withhold our household goods and slap us with fabricated cubic-foot penalty fees. Deliberately failing to process relocation updates out of petty office friction and holding customer property hostage over forced, unagreed-upon scheduling is completely unacceptable. If you value your property, your time, and basic accountability, look elsewhere.

Once I started unpacking boxes and moving items out of my garage, I found significant damage. One antique table that belonged to my grandmother has clearly been mishandled. There are two places where there were shreds of wood on the corner. I was unpacking boxes that were supposed to be books they packed, and I got about halfway through one box and discovered that they threw two glass shadowbox frames in with the books. One of them was shattered. Thankfully it was the one I hadn't yet filled with photos. The other one would have been disastrous since it had photos of my dad who recently passed away. Even novice movers know you don't put glass frames at the bottom of a box of books!!!! I'm seriously afraid to see what else got damaged in the numerous boxes I have yet to unpack. It's pathetic.

Vector…read moreoffice staff were very kind and gave us the best quotes it's just the actual people who stuff that were worst. We have moved multiple times in east cost always use the same mover from NY. This time thought of trying a NJ based mover. Here are the issues 1.Lack of professional behavior. They came inside saw that entryway table had a few bills picked them up asked me which currency it is. 2. One of the kitchen packers opens lid of my spice box (I had leaves and chillies puts his nose in sniffs and asks what is it? 3. Packed every little thing in white wrapper so unpacking was hell. Single stainless steel spoon wrapped in 4 layers of packing . 4. Who does this .packing open can of bleach with groceries. While unpacking I saw white dust thought its paint once I hit end of box it was bleach so ended up throwing everything from that box. Which professional mover does that 5. Random packing. I had very organized closet but they picked random items and packed in diff boxes so i had box with sweaters pillow covers photo frames and belts all from diff parts of closet. LASTLY we were given pricing we paid that by bill and paid $800 extra over that without receipt as they demanded that they packed box. When vector gave me a quote it included 10 medium boxes $20 per box but the guys packed everything with white wrapper in kitten not one but 4 sheets and increased boxes packed to 30 , unethically charging us for small boxes stuffed with white paper. Please note it was a very painful experience and no one deserves this kind of billing or nonsense
