I contacted this company via email. They got back to me and took an intake survey. They sent me a copy of the survey along with the request for all my documentation. There copy of the intake questionnaire had numerous typos and errors. I responded with the corrections. I had dozens of files they requested. Then they never followed up. I left a voicemail and got no response. I emailed the person who sent me the file request and again, got no response. It was not a very professional experience and would not recommend this firm. read more

Dear Lawyer Nabati: I reached out to your law group while searching on the internet for an employment lawyer. Everything went well. Melissa told me someone would call me Fri 5/10/24 at 10 AM to talk with me to get to know my case. Melissa called me on time. Barely going into the case, Melissa told me "Even though Melissa was not a lawyer but she advised me to go to the Union and get a lawyer from there...." I became real confused because it was so out of line in my particular case. When I asked her further, she then told me her email at your company and requested me to send all my file there for the lawyer (Michelle Nabati) to review to take my case or not. I clarified with Melissa if I coud send a brief complaint summary about 6 pages which has good summary of my case. Melissa said "No". I asked " You meant the 2000 pages?". And she said "Yes". I asked gently, not wanting to confront her, that I never was asked to send that much just to see if the firm accept my case or not. Melissa confirmed that Melissa was not new at your firm and that was exactly what Melissa had to get for the lawyer. I asked her confidentially whether any personal reason it seemed she was blocking me reaching to the lawyer. (I believed the Lawyer Michelle Nabati talked with me once on phone few minutes the other day). And Melissa said everyone had to send "all they have and Melissa would review before present it to the lawyer". And then Melissa rushed me off after just about 8 minutes total of the supposed 30 minute appointment that Melissa had other phone calls to make. I am still in shock. I did not want to write this review afraid I closed the gate to have you helping me in my case. But I believe in justice. This time it is justice for you (Michelle Nabati), that your intake staff block people who need your help and also to bring business to you. Especially people who really need your expertise to help to fight for their rights in this world; people who try to earn a decent living to support themselves and their families. I'm pretty disappointed with this office. I reached out to them three weeks ago, explained my issue sent them all my documentation and was told to expect a call back once the documents were reviewed. I called this week and and was told she would get back to me in a couple of days. Called on Friday after not hearing back and was told that Michelle would get back to me before the end of day. Guess what, she didn't and simply passed on my case to another lawyer. She wasted my time for 3 weeks and didn't have the courtesy to let me know either way. I can understand being unable to help me but you didn't have to sit on it for 3 weeks, not bothering to reach out, not even review my documents and then punt me off to someone else.
