From the moment I walked in, I felt something I rarely experience at a doctor's office -- welcomed. She has a warmth that immediately puts you at ease, making you feel like a person, not just another appointment. Most visits feel rushed (in and out, minimal conversation). Dr. Ghazi is the complete opposite. She took the time to listen, explain, and educate without ever making me feel pressured. She doesn't push anything on you; she simply empowers you with knowledge so you can make informed decisions about your own health. Her expertise is clear, but what stands out even more is how genuinely she cares. If you're looking for a doctor who will truly hear you and go above and beyond, Dr. Ghazi is it. But this place is got a good potentials, initially. The staff were extremely nice and friendly. We did not get to see the doctor in the initial visit. Instead we saw the PA who basically just took down our medical history for future references I guess. We were supposed to get our blood lab work done in the same visit. But somehow due to some unforeseen circumstances, we were denied at first. After pleading with the staff we were then allowed to get the blood work done. It's weird to me because we always get our blood work done. In the same annual physical visits. We never had to "request" for this service. Oh well, not all the offices were as nice as our previous doctor. Probably will still go back for our next annual check ups. But the next time I'll make sure I request to get the blood work done in the same visit!

The traditional Dr I was seeing originally saw me and gave me 2 blood pressure medication prescriptions. She then told me she would see me in 4 months for a follow up. As a 30 year old man who should not be hypertensive I was discouraged that I was quickly given prescription I would end up needing to be on for the rest of my life. Not being ok with this way of handling I was seeking a Doctor who would be willing and able to work with me in partnership in my health. Someone who was willing to sit down and get to the root cause of the issue of what was causing my high blood pressure. When I say that Dr Tami was willing to sit down and get to the root cause, the exam room literally has a regular table with chairs that her and her staff sit with me and go line by line through the many tests that are done to explain each result and what the reason for each test is and what the result tells us about my body. She also sends a recap email of each visit which I find very useful to be able to do my own research on each recommendation and I send questions or clarification to the recap email to really have a full understanding of our plan and the recommendations. This is not something that I would ever get to do with a traditional Doctor. In any setting you would think that this service would be extremely expensive however my plan is $135 a month which for all of the time and effort put in my Dr Tami and her staff is very fair. In the very short time I've been seeing Dr Tami as of today I have fully come off of one of the medications I was prescribed, thanks to the natural supplements I have been taking. I am confident that as long as I continue on this currently plan I will be able to get off of the second prescription. Dr. Tami's relationships with other providers has also been a huge plus. I have been able to quickly get appointments with specialist, found an amazing chiropractor (Sports Chiro Rehab Dr Patel) and been able to quickly get shipments of a supplement (when I waited too long to reorder). Once I went to a real functional medicine Dr they discovered what the cause of all of my health issues was in one visit. I really enjoyed seeing Dr Singh, unfortunately she prescribed me a new medication at every visit. Prozac, Wellbutrin, adderall, Xanax, etc. A functional medicine Dr does not polydrug their patient to mask their symptoms. Then came my 4 year long journey of withdrawal due to Dr Singh abruptly taking me off all the antidepressants she had me on. She has done this to 2 other people that I know personally, and they have suffered equally as much as me as a result. When I realized that I was in withdrawal, her only response to me was "want me to send you another prescription for Prozac?" I stayed off all the meds and finally made out of the withdrawal hell, battled severe withdrawal symptoms including depression, suicidal ideation, panic attacks and horrific akathisia just to share a few and I now feel strong and amazing and I am returning to warn others and perhaps educate the Dr herself of the damages that overprescribing can cause. I think Dr Singh has good intentions and I really loved the aspire health model. I suffered so much from the effects of her negligence that I would feel terrible not speaking out.

He always has a smile and laughs at my jokes, but most important of all is that he runs a tight ship and his staff are most helpful. When you enter for an appointment either Natalia or Ivan are ready with a smile and always bend over backwards to help when there is a vexing little problem such as personally helping with referrals or how to navigate Healow (their patient portal). All of the staff are well chosen and as nice as can be. I have been to many GPs down here in the swamp and I was lucky to find this practice.

These were forms to be completed by hand (not digital, old school) and then had to be entered manually by the receptionist. I was a new patient and it would have been nice to have completed these forms online, prior to my visit. My appointment was set for 10:00. I did not get in the back for my triage until 10:30 and did not see the Doctor until after 11:00. They do not use a digital scales or blood pressure machines. Medical devices could use some updating. They required me to have an EKG, even though I expressed that I did not want one. They told me they would not bill my insurance and that it was for internal use only and was required by the Doctor. The examining room had rules on the wall and advertising for allergy testing, with two notices to turn your phone off as well as a referral policy. No artwork. The lobby was also decorated with policies on all the walls. Although, they did have lots of brochures for services and magazines on the waiting area. Now for my visit with Dr. Alvarez... the Doctor had a wonderful bedside manner. He was warm and friendly. Dr. Alvarez gave me a thorough exam and gave me some good medical advice.
