I've tried them a few times and each time is the same. Very disappointing considering they somehow won Cupcake Wars. The cupcakes are dry and have little flavor. I love the cupcakes, buuut they are overpriced and more frosting than cake. Dont get me wrong, I LOVE frosting, but there is only like one inch of cake to two inches of frosting! Dont believe me? Next time you get a clear carry away box look at the bottom! They dont even fill the cups in the carrier! for such expensive cup cakes i would like more for my money. I seriously could not love this place more. The cupcakes are beyond amazing and I'm kind of a snob when it comes to my desserts. I love the brookie, the red velvet, the pina colada, coconut conspiracy, my bloody valentine, the brownie cupcake, cookie dough, spumoni and the chocolate. The cupcakes are always so moist and delicious. The customer service here is never anything less than amazing either. I recently moved to Sacramento, and Nadia Cakes is truly irreplaceable. Tried the gluten free so thought I'd review. I do order GF pastries/cakes/cupcakes at a lot of bakeries and I also tend to be picky. I had the "Triple Chocolate" (I believe is what it's called), chocolate cupcake with choc icing and mini choco chips. I had actually gone to Nadia's because Facebook said they had the Cupcake Wars winner (triple berry cheesecake) in gluten free and I wanted to try it. When I got there it was still in the over so that was a no-go. Compared with several other GF bakeries, the cupcake was a little dry and the frosting was actually almost too soft. I don't feel the CC was overly sweet, just not my fave. I would have loved to have tried the other, but....oh well. Caution for those that are GF: I did not ask, but you will want to ask on those GF CC's baked in the afternoon. Make sure everything was completely cleaned prior to the baking or there is a possibility of cross contamination. I might be a touch afraid of eating cupcakes made in the afternoon once several regular cupcakes have been made. Like I said, I didn't ask so just check with them before you eat them. Most bakeries that serve both only bake GF in the AM prior to starting to bake the regular CCs. Service was fine, no complaints there. read more

Love the cupcakes here! Always tasty! My favorite is the red velvet and lemon. I've tired all the flavors and they were ok to be honest. Friends and family agree the red velvet and lemon are the standouts there. Prices are actually really good in comparison to other hot spot cupcake joints like Sprinkles. Personally I like Nadia Cakes better than Sprinkles, the frosting is just pure deliciousness! Great location, close to all the West Palmdale hotspots, and outdoor bistro seating. There is a coffee bean next door, grab a cupcake with coffee and all is right with the world. read more

I was in lancaster for the day and had seen a billboard on the way there for cupcakes so I had to stop in. Both my sister and I got a 6-pack and shared all of them. We tried the lemon drop that had a jelly filling that was good but too sweet for me. My sister loved it. We both got the cookies & cream which was perfect. The chocolate vanilla one was delightful. The chocolate cake was fudgy and dense after refrigerating it. The fresh strawberry was good and the strawberry shortcake was even better. It had cream in the middle that reminded me of a mix between a zinger and twinkie. The cupcake wars cheesecake one was great. It had a yummy fruity compote in the middle. My sister loved that one the most. The alice n' wonderland (red velvet w/marshmallow icing. The cake was good but the frosting tasted like its color, blue. The peanut butter one was to die for. The salted caramel one was incredible with that caramel filling and black salt on top. Yummy. If I am ever in the area I will stop in again. read more

Very good cupcakes but not so good cakes. Atleast not the one I got. This place is supposed to be the best in the AV. I paid $365 for a cake on my daughters 1st bday (I wanted the best). The cake was a disappointment. It was not worth what I spent. It was a 2 tier cake of strawberry & mango. The consultant & I came up with the design. The mango didn't taste like mango & the little elephant on top of the cake didn't have the bow I asked for, the ear fell off, & it didn't have many decorations I asked for around the cake. For that $ I expected perfection. My guests ended up liking the cake from the previous day better!! A cake which I only spent $24 for & bought at VALLARTAS!! That taught me a big lesson. A lesson that cost me $365 + tax. read more

I absolutely cannot give Nadia Cakes enough stars. I have been going to Nadia Cakes for years getting cupcakes, about a 40 minute drive from where I live in Santa Clarita and they are delicious! But Sunday I had Nadia Cakes for my WEDDING and I received RAVE reviews from everyone! It is wonderful to get such great feedback from my guests! Also set-up and all else went great! Good gluten free options I've had here are the gluten free chocolate chip cookies and the gluten free cheesecake cupcakes but good luck finding them because I've gone several times and they never have any. I was told that they make the gluten free cheese cake cupcakes during the summer time so I might come back next year. As for the other gluten free cupcakes, they're a bit dry and overpriced. I've tried three of their cupcakes: berry cheesecake, lemon drop, and chocolate stout Guinness w/ caramel pretzel frosting. The cheesecake cupcake was very small but decadent. Very moist and fluffy cupcakes with frosting where you can actually taste the different flavors. I got the four cupcakes for $10.75, a bit pricy I think for cupcakes, but on the bright side, you do get quality. read more

This place has delicious cupcakes. They are moist and every flavor I have tried is great. The cheesecake cupcake is my very favorite, it's like a little piece of heaven, the perfectly made cheese cake with just a little taste of berries in the middle, perfection. . The first Saturday of every month they sell Pupcakes for dogs. Not sure my dogs really care they are eating a cupcake, and would probably rather have a taste of mine, but they are cute and a fun treat. Sometimes they have already made variety packs of 4, for $5, which are great, but they go fast. Fun place to grab a treat. read more

Absolutely love Nadia Cakes! I've been coming here since they opened their doors, even waited for in line for an hour or so for the $1 cupcake sale. Ever cupcake I've had, and I've just about tried them all, has been moist, flavorful, and the perfect about of sweetness. No flavor is overbearing, the sugar amount in both the frosting and the cake is perfect. I'd say if you're getting dinner in the area, skip the dessert at that restaurant and get cupcakes here instead. Not to mention the staff is incredibly helpful, friendly, and fun! read more
