I try not to come on a grand opening because they need time to work out the nuances, but we were very gun shy about having Chicago Street food in Holland. The order was not completely right where we got some perch instead of a gyro and all fries instead of a couple of come slaws. The Italian beef was a little dry and the wings were decent but not quite Chicago enough for me and my hubby who have lived there for the past 20 years. Prices are reasonable, and the staff super friendly and helpful!

I dig this place. The owner is super nice and his food is on point. Chef trained bbq. Wings and tips are great.

What a south side gem! Nadine's is a newcomer to Holland's Washington Ave. It's narrow and unassuming, tucked into a strip mall. Nadine's is inspired by the Chicago street food scene, and the flavors and portions and combos were downright satisfying. I tried a three item combo: rib tips slathered in a tangy BBQ sauce, three big planks of ocean perch, and four big chicken wings (one wing = drummy still attached to the flat!), all with a generous portion of house made French fries. I'd put these wings against the big chain's any day. Breaded gently and fried to perfection with the one-handed eatability that only true wing fans understand. Fish and tips were great, too. Add Nadine's Chicago style hot sauce for extra zip (it's good!). Be patient, as they're still ramping up their business, staff, and inventory. Dining room is small, but folks can carry out. (They've got lots of great bundle deals on all their main dishes.) Nadine's is going to be making regulars and fast. I'll be back!

So excited to have a Chicago Style Street Food location right here in Holland Mi. They are slammed at opening but they will get their groove soon. Best of luck and cannot wait to be regulars.

As you can see from this photo it's pink in the middle of the chicken wing.

Happy Grand Opening! The perch was amazing, can't wait to try the catfish when available. Wings were crispy and tender, great seasoning.

She wanted to come back everyday for these Honestly, this place has really good southern food. The fried chicken, fried catfish to baked beans and grits! And don't you ever skip on the buttery biscuits --- this is the best! Oh, I tried the cocktail called Piña Piña - it has fish sauce, lol! It was delish! I will come back for this haha! The staff are all awesome and the view of the Kalamazoo river and yacht passing by is a plus! Happy Labor Day Weekend, y'all!

I mean, as good as advertised. Holy cow. One of our best meals in two trips to Michigan (Saugatuck…read moreand South Haven). All reservations were booked out for weeks when we had checked, but we showed up at opening and it sort of worked out. Let me explain.. A lot of other families had the same idea. Show up early, get in, get the kids fed early. It made for a line to check in at the host stand that looked concerning but it wasn't a crazy wait, ultimately. About 30 minutes. We still got what we wanted, a nice seat overlooking the water. One thing I'll say in that regard was there was a HUGE upfront rush, but then around 6:30 or so, the place had emptied out quite a bit. Might be useful knowledge if trying to time an entry here. ANYWAYS. The food. Phenomenal. So good. I stuck with standard fried chicken (ie not Nashville, not spicy) and it was amazing. Salty, well brined, flavorful. It even held up amazingly well cold out of the fridge the next day. Some of the best fried chicken I've had in years. The fries were insanely good as well. The greens (one of the side choices) were not my thing as they didn't have a lot of flavor. The only miss of the evening. My oldest enjoyed her burger, and my youngest thought the chicken was too spicy (read: peppery) but they've been uber picky lately so take that with a grain of salt (or pepper). Had a lovely cocktail here as well, called the Sunday Christian: Gin, Cocchi Americano, Bianco Vermouth, and orange bitters. I'm realizing I have failed you all but forgetting to mention the most glorious, buttery, flaky biscuit that comes with the fried chicken meal. It was a star of the show, and the only reason I'm just now mentioning it is that I ate it so quickly it disappeared into my memories. Wonderful place, and I'm sure we will go back next time in Saugatuck.

I can put in my order and enjoy my meal then leave when ready. I don't have to wait for the bill. The person at the counter was very friendly and provided excellent service. It was slow in here tonight but the ambiance was pretty nice. Kind of trendy I guess. I can see this place going over well in the 20s-40s crowd. Okay on to the food:.. TASTY!! Okay just very tasty! I love the options for seasoning your fries or house made kettle chips. The Tennessee bourbon sauce is sweet with a tiny bit of heat, I would say mild for sure. Traditional wings were perfectly done all the way through but still very moist and melt in your mouth. My daughter enjoyed her boneless wings, she said they weren't dry at all and were very well cooked. She packed away all of them and wanted more. I can see myself coming back here again and again. I recommend you give them a try. 5 stars!! Great job guys. We'll be back.

Nice size good coating, I did the buttery, garlic, parm. With fries. Place is small staff friend enough. Take a chance on this and stop in for some tasty wings.
