    Falafel bowl

Great service. My falafel bowls were made with care and patience. Falafel and toppings were fresh with a generous amount of sauce which was perfect.

This place is absolutely terrible. Worst food in Philly by far. Dirty. Expensive. Dry. Overall not good. Employees lack energy and professionalism. I wouldn't recommend my worst enemy eats here. My bowl was $14 and couldn't satisfy a mouse. Wish I could give this place -10 stars

Tommy made my first falafel bowl, he was so accommodating & so patient when I had a hard time understanding how many options I had. He willingly gave suggestions when I couldn't decide on the sauces, that really brought my anxiety down. Purposely I try to visit places when they're not crowded, in fear that it will make me hold up the line. Sometimes I need responses repeated, it was nice not to feel pressured to rush. Thank you Tommy & staff I'll be returning.

A sad order of "French fries"

Walked in around 5:30 and there was a child behind the counter, I'm assuming one of the employees children. I ordered only a side of fries. Undercooked is an understatement.

This humble little falafel joint had a lot of fresh great options. I didn't try the tahini drink but it did seem like it was a popular option. All in all, I thought the place was a time efficient option to get a solid lunch deal.

"Chainy" has never tasted better. I've had better middle eastern food but it was definitely good for what I paid. This place is very chipotle style. Tell the person what you want, bam it is done. Anyways probably an ok place to go if you are in a rush. I loved basmati rice. The beef was ok.

OK For all the places I go for falafel I would have to say that naff naff is definitely my favorite. From their fresh baked pita breads to their hummus or falafel platter I love all the toppings and I appreciate the nice crispy falafel (that aren't Goldies salt balls) My only complaint is that I wish they had more locations in the Philadelphia area.

I got a bowl with chicken shawarma as my protein with the yellow rice as my base. You can add veggies and sauces and I added the cabbage, tomatoes, onions, 2 pieces of falafel (extra 85 cents charge each) with the sesame sauce and a side of hummus. The bowl also comes with a piece of peta bread. The meal itself was delicious! I would definitely come back when I'm in the area and craving Mediterranean.

Although I have passed by this restaurant many times before, I have never been. I have been to the competitors such as cava and the other place in Center city, but this was my first time at naf naf. I really liked the offerings And the fact that there was a possibility to get a smaller sized bowl. I find the portions at cava to be way too large. I also thoroughly enjoyed the falafel's and thought that for for two dollars was a very good price. The staff could've been a bit more respectful. All in all this was a good experience and I suspect we will be back.

Food was fantastic and very authentic and delicious. The lady made my falafel fresh and did not over-fry. Service was great.

Merion Park Labneh: this labneh is thicker than other restaurants which I really like actually. the photo I insert may be deceiving, as it looks chunky. rest assured, it's absolutely smooth, just a thicker consistency than most labnehs. the spices on it are so so good. I think this is a must get along with a hummus. me and my sister are vegetarian, we share a hummus and a labneh and are decently full after those. we also snack on some small plates for the table (fries and olives) and leave full. Israeli Pickles and Olives: comes with two ramekins filled with varying sized pickles, not pitted olives, and some tiny yellow peppers I *think* are either pepper-chinos or at the very least taste similar. they also come with a small ramekin for the olive pits. The yellow peppers are very spicy, but I loved them. the olives are green, and i'd consider them friendly olives for those who are particular around olives. pickles were great as expected. French Fries: easy order for the table. portion is large and I think $8 is a steal for the quantity and quality. comes with a yummy ketchup my sister loves (she is considered a ketchup hater). COCONUT MALABI: I did not know what to expect. and honestly, first bite I was a bit confused by the texture, but by the end, I really liked it. its a thick pudding consistency, smooth, has a decent bounce to it, not too sweet at all, subtle coconut flavor. has a strawberry (I think) jam situation on top with some sort of crunchy thing. will be getting that again for sure. we had three people split this and it was enough. would consider getting two for four people though. service was quick, efficient, and kind. love the atmosphere. it has a sort of lively fun vibe to it. also we were in and out pretty quick without being rushed at all which is nice. just efficient. Also, I haven't tried them yet but they have a good little mocktail menu for those who don't drink!

If you haven't been since the renovation, be prepared for an entirely new, full-service restaurant space complete with a revamped menu, including entree plates, hummus, sandwiches, and desserts. The standout of the restaurant is still the hummus with jammy egg, but dishes like the sabich are very tasty (if not a little salty) in their own right. The atmosphere is fun and trendy while still being casual, and the cocktails are a fun pairing with the food. Overall, 4.5/5.

I noticed…read moreseveral reviews talk about some delivery/takeout issues which could be valid, but as someone who always ate in, my review will be focusing on that. To that end, we never had problems with their food. We typically get their Make your own Bowl option. Their Slaw and Potatoes are very distinctive and delicious as base options. We appreciate how their Yeeroh Meats are actually shaved fresh and not some pre-packaged meat or something that isn't shaved, which kind of runs counter to the point. Their hummus is solid as well. The only thing to note is almost all of the veggie toppings aren't necessarily always prepared -- the tomatoes for example are straight up grape tomatoes they throw onto your bowl which could overpower the meal. Still would recommend them as a solid restaurant in the area. What you didn't come here for: - Water: There's no free water option (or at least if there was, I'd be suspect given Philly's reputation) - Restrooms: There is a single occupancy restroom in the rear but... - Accessibility: While it's wheelchair accessible, the path to the restroom gets tight since that hall is where they store their high chairs for kids as well. It could be workable but you'd need some help from someone to move things around for you. - Seating: There is limited seating up front but it's often enough. - Will it fill you up? Yes the serving sides are generous.

Tasted like it was old meat or had been left out for a while and not freshly made. We've ordered salads from here before the every dressing we've gotten has been bad. We've tried the Italian, Greek and Caesar dressings. We also tried the garlic eggplant dip last night and it truly tasted like fish. I lost my appetite after tasting that dip but it wouldn't have fixed the meal as it was so cold to begin with. Very disappointed because when the food is hot and fresh, it's nice, but we will not be ordering from here again.
