The tasting itself was alright. Some wines were nicer than others. Unfortunately, the 2023 frost hurt a lot of their crops so their wines were maximizing blends from grapes of other regions. I don't think those were as good. Highly recommend trying some of the reserves and 'higher tier' wines here. The Foch is unique and I really enjoyed their chardonnay.

This was our favourite of the three reds we tried. - 2021 Cabernet franc - 2020 La droite - 2018 Late harvest viognier - not too sweet, good mouth feel. - Blanc de blanc - first time they've made a sparkling pinot blanc. Excellent bubbly. We bought a bottle ($37.99). Too bad they didn't have their blanc de merlot bottled yet.

Our pourer (Chantal) was very friendly and informative. - 2022 Akina rosé - marechal foch grapes. Rosé was supposed to be dry, didn't taste so. - 2021 Riesling - smooth, velvety texture on the mouth. Not too sweet. Bought a bottle ($28.61) for home. - 2022 The flirty 3 - blend of three whites. Sweetest of the whites we tried. - 2018 Merlot - light on tannins, a touch smoky. - 2020 Cabernet franc - bolder flavour, but more tannins. Still one of my favourite organic wineries.

It's also worth mentioning that only $5.00 of the fee goes toward a bottle purchase. - 2017 Organic old vines pinot - a blend that was light in flavour. - 2016 Old vines riesling - 2018 Organic pinot noir - smokey and medium tannin. - 2020 Organic ruby pet nat - we were given a bonus sample. This was actually one of their natural wines we were hoping to try. Turned out to be our favourite. A touch fizzy and notes of blueberry. We debated getting a bottle ($30.00). Decent wines at SV but we enjoyed the organic wines more out in West Kelowna.

The Woops wine label is designed upside down, which is really fun, and it tastes great too. Phoenix was full-bodied and tasted really good. I also liked the Gewurztraminer for its well-balanced fruit flavors and sweetness, and the Wolf Song for its buttery taste. We also purchased their original wine glass. This winery is really fun, and I will definitely visit again.

Walking into the tasting room, the area had so much natural light shining in with beautiful sights of the lake and vines. We didn't have a reservation but the server was nice enough to give us a complimentary tasting of three wines. They were really good! We ended up purchasing a bottle of sparkling rose! THE FINAL BAMBOO: Overall tastings will set you back around $30 CAD and the bottle of sparkling rose we got was around $40 CAD. Will definitely be back at this winery when we're in Kelowna.

They pick you up at your door and drive you home so you're able to just sit back and relax without the worry of driving. It is reasonably priced as well! I think my favourite will always be the classic Sumac Ridge. But we did try an organic winery as well called Sage Hills which was great too! I would definitely recommend Merlin and Bare tours to others!

I don't buy into the whole pyramid structure and however they use that in their winemaking process. However, I will agree that they make really good reds and dessert wines.
