    How they left my nails, acrylic drilled down on 9 fingers.

    Not only is this address incorrect, they've intentionally removed the name of this location but TRACY NAIL & SPA literally refused me service for asking the nail tech her opinion on a nail color. Visit recap below: I came back in to get a quick fill, was seated promptly and my service began with the woman drilling down the old acrylic and removing a broken nail. As her and I test TWO nude colors I asked her opinion on the color I chose and this is where things got weird. She snatched my hand back, removed the wet acrylic and said "I can't make the decision for you its your nail" I responded " oh, sorry I just wanted your professional opinion since Im a little uncertain about the color." she proceeds to speak in another language to coworkers nearby and says to me " well if you don't like your nail you wait for someone else" I told her that was fine as I was uncomfortable now. As soon as I said I was uncomfortable, Nick the manager, began to yell at me and say "you don't like your nails no one can help go to another salon." My nails were completely removed and services partially completed and they refused me service because I wanted another color. It was the most bizarre situation, so much so that I immediately exited when he made that statement no argument to be had. I called the police, I will be reaching out to the city commerce folks and BBB and whoever else because I have NEVER experienced such unprofessionalism. and to every woman who sat there and watched/heard what was happening shame on you!! Thank you Dekalb PD for taking the report seriously and confirming this location has had multiple incidents in the past. Not to mention Nick had his CUSTOMERS answer the phone when we tried to contact and get the nails tech's nail. He had them answer the phone and say it was a mexican restuarant, a auto repair shop and he told me to "stop whining and get a life" when I initially asked for her name. Not to mention coming outside and yelling while I waited for officers to arrive. I would give them a negative if I could. Black women please stay out of this location, they do not value your dollar or patronizing of their business. In the images you will see my shaven down nails and wet acrylic that dried on my pinky nail from the testing of colors. Thankfully another local salon took care of me, and stated that they too often have to "fix" the work of those from this salon.

    When I walked in, the place was pretty empty, normal for the time of day I went. I was directed to choose a color and was asked if I wanted to upgrade my basic pedi. Sitting down realized there isn't much decor because it's so new, I guess. I was offered a beverage, which I enjoyed. Than the fun began, it was a relaxing pedi. She got my pesky ingrown toe nail (not cute) and took the time to get the bottom of my feet really well. The massage was long enough and enjoyable. I will be back. I have appt this Friday! For those who have been to LEZA, I think this is once step down but the employees are MUCH nicer and take the time to listen.

    Tech scrubbed so hard with the pumice stone that he took layers off. I was bleed and still had to pay. Only got $2 taken off my total.

    Too way too long to get service, only people in there. Came in with a girlfriend for pedis and hers was different than mine even though we both got basic. My tech rubbed so hard on my foot with s pumice stone that he took several layers of my skin off causing me to bleed. I still had to pay for it even though I was bleeding and in pain. Would not recommend.

    Ambiance was so so..not very busy and my manicurist wasn't interactive. That being said..I got a full set of acrylics and they were done well and shaped nicely. I'm super picky and would go back.

    First time coming here - based my decision off of previous Yelp reviews. And I must say, this place was great. I usually get my nails done in Geneva, but was looking for something a little closer to home. The store itself is very basic, but the staff is extremely friendly and helpful. I got a basic no chip manicure. Price was average but for the work they did, it was worth every penny. I would HIGHLY recommend Oliver. He was very kind, helpful, and just the right amount of talkative. He did an excellent job. I will definitely be returning!

I never post about anything like this, but this one really got to me. I had received a gift certificate for my 50th birthday to get a massage at this spa. It was a $100 gift certificate. I went online and made an appointment for a hot stone massage. On Wednesday evening our four-year-old dog tragically lost use of her hind legs. We rushed her to the Animal Hospital in Aurora. Seven hours later we unfortunately had to put her down. We did not get home until 3:30am yesterday. My appointment for the massage was 10:30 AM yesterday. I had every intention of making this appointment. I had no idea that this would happen to my dog. I called them and asked if they would allow me to reschedule. I did explain what happened. The owner had the nerve to tell me she has a policy on her 24 hour cancellation because she's a single mom and has to take care of her family, etc.. I totally understand that. I used to be a business owner myself. She absolutely refused to allow me to cancel and reschedule. People have things happen in life. A business can change their policy for extreme circumstances. Having a little compassion and humanity goes a long way. I was furious and told her to charge the gift card and that she could keep the extra five dollars. I am on day two of grieving Over my animal passing away. My dog who passed had a sister dog and they were inseparable. In her short four years, they've never been separated. Not only am I grieving but my other dog is grieving as well. Had I been clairvoyant and knew my dog was going to collapse and die I would've called and canceled the appointment. I was so caught up her dire situation that it never occurred to me to call. Plus, the situation happened about 18 hours before my appointment.... I would've kept this appt had I gotten some sleep the night before and wasn't grieving so hard. She actually charged the gift card that I was given $95 and refused to let me reschedule unless I wanted to pay again. In my mind it just seemed cruel and really about her getting her money. She never even acknowledged the passing of my dog or said sorry. Doesn't matter but it was just very frustrating. Thanks for listening!
