Visiting a a friend in Tennessee and we wanted to have a girls day and get our nails done. She found this place about 30 minutes from her house. I briefly looked at Pinterest for some inspiration and Tim my nail tech was spot on to what I wanted. I mean talk about attention to detail! He perfectly buzzed off the old color and shaped my nails exactly how I wanted. He was so attentive to every little bit of the perfect shape of my nails. From the shape on the top of the nail, like the curvature of the top. The shaving of the under side of the nail so they're not so thick, I mean I am super anal when it comes to every detail of my life and the detail he put into my nails is to a level I cannot even explain. You will have to come and experience it yourself. Tim is amazing!!! I am so sad I do not live here because he would be my forever nail technician. The hand painted flowers are perfect!!! I went for a gel manicure and pedicure, along with my 2 daughters on Monday. On Monday night 2 of the nail gels peeled off, and I went in on Tuesday and they were fixed. Since then 6 other nails have peeled off. My daughter had a manicure and asked to have her nails shaped, but it was not done. I selected the Plain Cookie Pedi which comes with callus removal but when I showed up they told me it doesn't come with that and they had the callus option crossed off of the physical form they had...when I asked if they can just do it since their website says it offers it, they said it would be a $5 extra charge. During the end of the service they put lotion on my feet and legs + massaged them and then wiped it off with warm towels. After that they put cold blue aloe vera on my legs and feet to leave on instead of the lotion for some reason which I immediately washed off when I got home because it was burning! Finally, when it was the end of the service, I asked if they can do a $5 discount because I didn't do nail polish and they said no because it comes with the service...so basically if you want to pay $40 to put your feet in warm water and not even get your calluses removed, even if you pay the extra $5 charge, this is the place for you. *disclaimer* the people were very nice, it was just the service that wasn't great especially for the price read more

Writing my review while sitting in the pedi chair. My first thing to say is: MEN SHOULD GO HERE! They really know how to take care of the guys! The vibe here is GREAT!!! You want a rockstar treatment? Any of the techs will treat you like a Queen or King. This place is really pretty. Decorations are very tasteful. Classy. As I sit here THREE men are getting their toes done. It's clear they offer wine, water and soda as drink options. All of their massage chairs work. All have LED lighting that changes. Music is tasteful. TV channel is a local favorite HGTV. I've been sitting in the foot soak for about 5 minutes. Three staff people working. Two pedis in action and a manicure. Three of us are waiting. Not sure how long we will wait for our turn. Total wait time was maybe 15 minutes. All techs speak English and they interact with their customers. One tech, Paul, just showed up and clearly he is the life of the party. Everyone was laughing the entire time. Definitely a WIN! Great choice for pedicure for many many reasons!!! I've been thinking about not posting a review because I think the person may be a new person, but listen to what happened. For starters, we removed my prior set then he goes to lay the forms down WITHOUT asking what shape I even want. (Me thinking this is just the one they use or something) does 3 nails then asked the shape I told him he's like oh nooooo (but keeps going, so I decide to do almond shape against what I wanted) the forms were not the normal ones they use they're the special shape ones, but again never asked & I don't see many salons have both options. Then starts the even worse part, he couldn't pick up a bead so he kept picking up beads of product and layering. My nails are so thick they hurt. He filed them for so long and they're still so thick that's how much he layered. They're uneven, the paint job is hit or miss. But most of all they're so thick they hurt. Glamour nails was recommended by a neighbor who gave it glowing reviews. After my first visit there, I concur. A pedicure is not just about getting Polish but also about a foot treatment. Nancy was professional, kind and thorough. I love the polish but more, my feet feel so much better. To the other customer who was on her phone while she was getting her nails done--that seems so rude. Maybe those were emergency texts to give her the benefit of the doubt. Based on all the reviews I chose this establishment to get my much needed pedicure..Walking in with high expectations with a $45 pricetag on the cheapest pedicure they had, it didn't exceed much to me- the paint on my nails needed more of it or something. Terrible---they have rotary sanders, they need to use them on my big toe nail to make it smooth. Ughhhhhh. I'm very frustrated. Would not recommend this salon at all. $45 and I'm not happy at all. This place is great. They pride themselves on being clean and providing quality service. I get the regular pedicure & the regular gel manicure. Along with the occasional eyebrow wax. The location is convenient and their equipment is new. The place is beautiful. The staff is friendly which is important to me. I gave this place 5 stars even though I would prefer their prices be a little lower. A regular pedicure will run you $32. I can easily walk out of here dropping $70 not including tip. Literally stole money from me. This place is awful. Don't let the cute interior fool you. They double charged me for an overpriced service ($28 for regular paint mani). I called about it and was told to drive back across town and "prove it". I showed up 2 days later (they are closed on Sunday's) with my bank transactions to prove it. They told me that they didn't do it and continued to argue with me. I tried to keep my cool but this rude lady kept telling me I was wrong and the bank must have done it. Total waste of space this one. Never got an "I'm sorry". Never got my money back. My transaction history says the second charge went through 2 minutes after I walked out the door. I have never been so dissatisfied with a service before. My sister and I made our first appointment here for SNS nails. Her nail tech (older male) was extremely rude to her. We were shocked after finishing to pay $50.00 each for just SNS, no manicure. We noticed SEVERAL FLAWS after we left. My thumb wasn't smooth at all and had webbing/cracking. The sns wasn't over all of the nails, the edges weren't covered. Within a few days, both of our nails were chipping/peeling. That shouldn't happen with SNS and never has in the years we've gotten them done. My sisters nails (at least 3) weren't even fully attached to the SNS portion. That left a huge gap which is a big risk for fungal infection due to trapped water. Pictures don't do it justice!! We returned to the salon and asked for owner. He wasn't there but we spoke to the manager (who was nice). We explained the issue and showed him the obvious flaws. At that point, my sister's rude nail tech jumped up and asked to see her nails. He was extremely aggressive and rude. He told us it was caused by tapping our nails?? Neither of us tap our nails nor have we ever had this happen before. He rolled his eyes and said he'd fix her two nails??? I told him it wasn't just 2 nails, it was 10. At that point he yelled at me that he had eyes and could see??? I was shocked!! Especially considering we paid $50 for this mess, that is well over $15 more than any other salon in Knoxville. They don't stand behind their work. Please do not support this business. Especially considering the way this nail tech spoke to us, ladies! We were very kind at first and just simply requested to be refunded. read more
