If I could give 0 stars, I would. I wish I remember the name of the man that did my toes. He was amazing but the lady Hannah that did my nails was terrible. First of all why were my nails $45 and hers were $50? Well they said her shape cost $5 more than mine. And then her nails are too short and mine too long. To top is all offrje polish job was awful. I've been here a few times and it's always the same thing. The straw that broke the camels back was the last time I was there I got an infection from them placing a nail on incorrectly. This place is OK if you just want a paint color solid, but that's about it. Once I came in asking for one the Pinterest pics below if it was possible to do without acrylics. I was told yes, she'd just do it with powder instead, which I've never done and knew nothing about. The next pic is how they turned out. I've also come here twice to get acrylics taken off, and was helped by two different people each time, and both of them were lazy. Instead of simply using foil or trying to soak them off and file them off, they used the fake nail piece to try to get under the acrylic nail, slide under them, and slide them off. Seems like no big deal, but it was extremely painful each time since I had told one of them that I had a broken nail under the acrylic, and he proceeded to break it the rest of the way and said "oh that must've hurt" as it was bleeding and as if I hadn't told him that right before. The second guy was having a difficult time peeling up the acrylic nail, and had to try so hard that he ended up getting under my real nail a couple times and slicing my real nail off instead (see pic). That hurt bad enough that I asked if we could soak them off for the next hand, and he said yeah that'll be another 20 minutes though which I said was fine. He was clearly rushing because he was "done" after about 10 more minutes of soaking and filing down. I didn't notice until after I got home that there's still acrylic left on my nails which is now chipping and cracking and incredibly annoying. I went here with a friend and they just couldn't understand when she said she wanted her toes square straight across. They said "yeah, we just found the edges" and she said "that's not what I want, please don't round them" they said "okay" and then still proceeded to do it and that's happened to her twice now. read more

Visiting Fort Rucker from New York. I'm being kind giving 2 stars.... that's only because in the whole nail salon u should only let the manager his wife or his mother do ya nails. Smh. I walked in asked for a new set with ballerina tips. I got the dip powder because it was offered. The manager had the receptionist set me up to Soak off. While soaking the nail tech in number 3 seat walked up to me and started taking my nails off... he did a good job. I told him exactly what I wanted. He said okay. The managers wife also explained to him. (If she new he sucked why would she allow him to do my nails) So he starts... there is glue that gets all over my hands n my right thumb. He never removed it. The dip powder he does as acrylic powder n it's running all over the place... he tells me to cure it under the fan (I later learn it's supposed to cure under the Light) smh... there's now dip powder everywhere all over my hands and fingers. It has holes it in, it was running over the cuticles. It was unbelievable. It was lumpy he files with a nail file and buffs them, then he starts to put gel top on and I'm like wait u have to fix this, drill this. He's like I kno after. So I let him put it on just to see where this is going.... Lmaooo.... he was done! I showed the managers wife while laughing n she is like oh no! So she then ask the man next to him to fix it n he semi does. She doesn't fix it... n she doesn't make her husband, the manager, aware. So 2nd tech makes them a little better but I'm not satisfied he was nice tho n kept apologizing. He couldn't believe it either. He said I had to start over. I told him I was leaving for NY so I couldn't. So now after he says it's the best he can do, I show them again! the manager finally comes over to access the situation. He then ask me to come over to his desk. He's more aggressive with filling so he makes it acceptable. He gives me 1/2 off..... it was $40 for dip full set, $5 soak off, $5 special tip, the shape I don't receive. So 1/2 off $50 ....$30 Lmaooo So he over charged me then ask me to pay half.... smh NEVER AGAIN!!! I told them I don't blame seat 3 , he was given the job then allowed to FUDGE people up. Oh the owner redid the lady before me too... I realized that after. I thought he was doin her design. But no it was a fix. A COMPLETE FIX! read more

I'm giving this 2 stars because I have had good experiences in the past. However, the last 2 times I've been here I got the older guy with the tattoos and have been very disappointed with the service as well as the results. My nails were not shaped well the edges were really sharp, he filed them haphazardly and even after I mentioned that they were sharp and asked to file some more, I ended up filing them myself when I got home. There is a lady there that has painted my kids nails, she is very patient and did a good job. read more

This is the only place I will go to for my time in Alabama. Their pedicures are amazing and very reasonably priced. The nail techs are great, professional, friendly and the environment is clean but trendy. I get a glass of wine with the supreme pedicure and I am UTTERLY relaxed. I've only had one negative experience there and it was an older woman who waxed my eyebrows and took off the first .25% of my eyebrows but it might have been my fault. I was growing them out and I didn't tell her to keep them, so I'll forgive that. They give student and military discounts. They are open great hours and their location is huge! Love this salon. They have a lot of employees and everyone has done a great job the times I have visited. (I go once every 2 weeks and have had 0 complaints since my eyebrow thing some time last year). This is definitely my go to salon. ***Update. This place is still great, however there are a couple of times they'll sit me at a station, and then move me to another station, and then move me again. This is a little annoying. However, overall I have never had complaints with my nails, or pedicures. They last long, they don't chip, and their prices are competitive. Love it! read more

I went here 3 times, after my first time one of my nails literally came off a week after my fill. I went back and they charged me 10 dollars to fix their mess up and not too happy to do so. Second time I got a fill and when I walked in there I asked for the lady who fixed my nails the first time, and nope she sent me to the same guy who did it the first time. He did my nails and again.. after two weeks my hair was getting tangled and they were coming off. Went back a 3rd time for a pedicure and a fill, it hasn't really been 3 weeks and ALL of my nails have air and are coming off AGAIN. I have only been in this area for about 4 months and sorely needed a pedicure. I've been checking reviews online and finally decided to go with Nail Boutique Spa in Enterprise. Although I was a bit dubious after reading some of the reviews, I decided to give it a shot. You know the old adage, you can please some of the people some of the time... I decided to form my own opinion. I called to make an appointment and was told I don't need one...Just walk in. So that's what I did! I met a young lady that was leaving NBS with her husband and she still had toe separators on so I asked her about the service. She stated she has been coming here for a long time and she just walks in without an appointment and always gets a good pedicure, as does her husband. So I braved it inside and asked the receptionist if Linda was available for a ped. (I always feel confident the owner of a nail salon will be very thorough ) Just so happened Linda was free. She asked me what I wanted then led me to a ped chair. Did I say it had been 4 months since my last Pedi in Florida? My toes were a hot mess after a long-distance move and setting up house, plus having an autoimmune disease that affects my skin. Linda was not daunted by the task and even glued a nail that I injured and that was loose. I will eventually lose it but Linda did a fantastic job with securing and making me more comfortable. I would not say that Linda was a Type A personality, meaning she was not extremely outgoing or talkative, however, it allowed me to relax without having to make filler chit chat and enjoy my time in the chair. This is hands-down the WORST salon I've been to in my life--and I've unfortunately been to a salon where you could see roaches crawling around before, so you KNOW this place is horrible if it's worse than one with roaches. First of all, from the moment I walked in for my pedicure, the service was abysmal. I was instructed to sit in "Chair #4" and a man came over and began to fill the bowl with water. I sat down and the water was SCALDING. I dipped my toes in and kept removing them, hoping the water would get cooler, but nothing, and the man seemed unconcerned that the water was too hot until he stuck his own hand in the bowl and then adjusted the temperature. I sat and waited for the pedicure to start. I waited at least forty minutes before someone came over to begin the service. Others were seated after me, and they had to wait, as well. One of the [male] workers actually walked by the two ladies on my left and asked if they were okay, but he said nothing to me. Those two women were white--I'm not. The technician, when he arrived, simply started the pedicure. I had never been to the salon before, being new to town, and he didn't ask me what kind of pedicure I wanted, nor was I aware of what they offered. I noticed, after the two white ladies to my left were asked by their technician what type of pedicure they wanted, that there was a yellow laminated card with a listing of services and prices, but it was never shown to me. During the pedicure, the technician acted as if he didn't want to touch my feet at all. I guess thought I had the cooties, or that I would infect him with something! He used a very light touch and wouldn't ask me to lift my feet or move my foot--he only communicated with gestures, as if he really didn't want to do my pedicure at all. As he was doing my pedicure, two women were seated on my right, and as they were settling in, they were asked if the water temperature was okay. Like the two women on my left, and unlike myself, the second two women were also white. Also, when they sat down to get their pedicures, they were presented the yellow card and asked what type of pedicure they wanted. One lady said "regular." I assumed, since I wasn't asked, that I would get the "regular" pedi as well, but the lady on my right got a much more detailed treatment. The technician gave her a long leg and foot massage, which my technician didn't give me, for example. So whatever service I got wasn't even as good as the "regular" service they provide to their white customers. When the technician got around to painting my toes, he didn't use tissue paper to separate my toes--the two women to my right, however, did get toe separators. I have no choice to assume that it was a color deal there, as well--they simply wanted to get me in and out without caring about the level of service they provided me, but they went above and beyond for their white customers. And to top it all off, the pedi was VERY messy. The technician left a smudge of nail polish on the side of my toe--very visible--and he didn't even attempt to clean it off. I will NEVER IN MY LIFE go back to this salon or recommend it to anyone else. I ESPECIALLY would not ever recommend that a black woman, like myself, go to this salon. Believe it or not, we notice things like this,. Whether it's big details or teeny weeny details, we're noticing what kind of service we receive and how it compares to the services others are appearing to receive. I'd rather they tell me at the door that they don't want black customers instead of giving me crappy service. I'd rather take my money to an establishment that will appreciate and respect my business; I don't want to give money to people who don't want me there. If I could give this place ZERO stars I would do just that! read more

I went here last year (2014) and they actually did a good job but this year (2015) a guy named Tony or Tommy can't remember which one was his name did gel manicure which only lasted 3 days and I noticed cracks on my nail and the polish started peeling off by the end of the week. This was a gel manicure which was suppose to last 2 + weeks. Unfortunately I was very upset called to let them know that I was so disappointed. They did not file my nails they did not cuticle cut them they did not moisturize them NOTHING!! The taller Vietnamese guy did my nails NEVER have him do your nails. I used to enjoy coming here and getting a pedicure. I went with some friends a couple weeks ago and asked for a deluxe pedicure, I had the older gentleman with tattoos. He kept asking if I wanted the gel polish, even though I told him no. I finally relented, that is my fault for being a pushover. I then received one of the worst pedicures I've ever had. He used the cuticle clippers to trim around my toes. He then started pulling out, not cutting out, ingrown toenails. When I kept saying OUCH, he just kept repeating "ingrown toenail". He proceeded to continue ripping them out. When he used the salt scrub on my legs, he would rub his knuckles into the same area on my shin, over and over, which ended up causing a bruise. My legs were so sensitive at that point and when he put the scalding hot stones and towels on, it was almost unbearable. Thankfully, my polish looked great, until two of my toes chipped a week after. I ended up trying again, taking my two girls with me. I ended up with the same man. My girls each had a lady. When I told him that I wanted a regular pedicure, he said "I know, I know, I know." Thankfully, I didn't have any ingrown toenails but when he trimmed my cuticles, it was extremely painful. I kept telling him it hurt but he ignored me. He did, however, hold a loud conversation with someone while laughing when looking at my youngest daughter's (age 7) feet. He rushed through the salt scrub, squeezed some lotion on my legs, gave them about five swipes per leg and was done. Never did he massage my feet. He painted my nails, even though one of toenails was really jagged. Some of the paint was on my skin, so he tried to clean my toes up. Needless to say, I still have paint on the skin around my toenails, missing some paint on my nails and feeling extremely disappointed at spending over $100 for my girls and I to start summer break with horrible looking pedicures. My husband and I are seniors and having been going here for 2 years. We are not the kind who book our next appt with anyone special. We go when we can and when we feel like it. With the recession setting in, prices are increasing on everything. So, they are now charging $5 more for each level of service, which is fine and we're all about it. BUT! BUT! BUT! They are providing fewer services and WE'RE ALL PAYING MORE FOR LESS! We got pedicures: 1. No water softening crystals in the water at the beginning of the foot bath. 2. No cuticle softener before pushing back cuticles. Randy (my guy), acted like he didn't understand me when I asked him for softener first. I've had him before, he understands and speaks perfect English. 3. Next, Randy hurt me when trying to use the electric drill on cuticle! Ouch! 4. Leg massage. An infant could have used more pressure than Randy chose to use today. 5. Next, one hot towel per leg was used versus the two they used to put on and wrap nice and tight. My poor, one towel, just hung on my leg. 6. Next, after draining the water from the foot bath, Randy removed the plastic liner, shook it out on the floor, turned it inside out, and put it back in the foot bath for next unsuspecting customer. The employees acted as if it was too much trouble to do what I was paying them to do. I didn't ask for anything out of the ordinary just a regular pedicure and fill-in. The person doing my pedicure was cutting into my skin and when I asked her for a specific color they offered she said they didn't have it (after she brought me the swatche) the person doing my fill in rushed to put polish on my nails until I pointed out that he missed a whole side of my nail. i have to now go home and round off the sharp edges So I don't accidentally cut my baby. I have been to this place roughly 4 times over the past eight months, usually for a pedicure. Most recently I went and got my nails done with a full set of dip powder. The set was just alright. It was uneven and I filed them when I got home to even out the nails. This set lasted about two weeks before I went in and got a fill. I told him I wanted a fill and the tech proceeded to cut off my nails and do an entirely new set. No big deal, I guess but because the shop wasn't well lit because it was nighttime, it wasn't until after I paid and left a $15 tip did I get home and realize that my two ring fingers were damaged. Both were supposed to be a translucent/white powder dip & My left hand ring finger had a hair sealed inside of it & my right hand ring finger was still pink from when the tech applied pink by mistake and had to take it off. Now, here I am a week later after I went back to have them remove the hair and redo the other nail and my pinky nails have popped off and 3 others are lifting. By no means am I rough with them either, I work a desk job. Definitely wouldn't recommend going here lately. read more

Got to the salon as it was not busy, and some one walked in behind me so they decided to take her and I had to wait because I took time picking a color out. My pedicure was good but the polish was not! It was so clumpy that my toes don't look smooth! As I got my nexgen done it was okay. The receptionist was super rude. Mikell was very nice. Had a nice time getting a pedicure, very friendly. Tony on the other had was way, way too rough. I wanted a French tip with gel. They tried to force me into getting tips, not what I wanted. 6 out of 10 of my fingers were bleeding after he was very rough and not paying enough attention with trimming cuticles. After he was finished white gel was all over my hands. They are not really up to speed on gel and Tony was incredibly rough. I've never had a manicure hurt that much and 2 hours later my fingers are still bleeding and my nails don't look as good with the red stain all the way around them. Would never go back! read more
