Came in to get dip done bc my place I usually go was closed. (I came here in the past but left bc of the rudeness) I had no other place to go to in the area so I figured I would try it again. I've been getting dip done for a while now and never have I ever seen them use other brands of top coat that didn't go with the dip powder. A little concerned but I'm not the professional, right? At the end when I was about to leave my nails still looked very dull, the owner added a different top coat and it was now shiny. Ok great. I leave and a few days later... all my nails started to chip. Like a hard boil egg does when cracked. I called and they told me to come in. Great! Even though I don't have time for this I need to bc my nails are a mess, and I paid a lot for this service. I get there and the nail tech only wanted to do the nails that were cracked. That was 7 of them. I said." Why not do the other 2? They did but I felt she was annoyed. Also. They spoke Vietnamese about it, so I had no idea what they were saying. I'm sorry. But this is rude and extremely uncomfortable for the client. When I asked the owner why would something like this happen? She told me that it must be something I am doing. I told her that I have NEVER had this problem before so I highly doubt it. She she shrugged and walked away while speaking in Vietnamese. ‍. Anyways. My nails are fixed but they don't feel smooth and she left me with my hands all dirty. Also there is a pink spot on one of my nails, in the color, that should not be there. I asked what that was and I was told it was from the powder. You're ok with that... right? My response was.. " I guess I have to be at this point.. right?" She nodded and that was it. I will NEVER come back to this nail salon again and don't recommend it to anyone else either. Also... Place isn't even pretty looking inside and looks dirty. They don't even put a towel down when doing your service. Smh. I'm a business owner and would never want my name or face on an establishment like this. read more

She is super quick and always does an excellent job. I've brought my daughter along for a mother daughter trip and they went above and beyond for her. I will never go to another nail salon. I am not sure why this salon has such low rating, because it is the best salon in Raleigh. I moved here recently from Cali and couldn't find a decent salon for the longest time because I have long nails and not a lot of salons can do that here. Not even fill. So... I came here for the first time a couple of months ago, and the service was amazing. The owner woman, did my nails for me right before they were about to close and she was very nice and did an amazing job on my full set! However.. I went there today because I wanted the same amazing treatment I had last time. The picture that I attached is the guy who did my nails. He was very determined to get done as fast as he could no matter what my nails looked like. He hurt my fingers very bad, with the electric filer, and cut my skin. He saw the cut many times and still continued to be very rough. He rubbed alcohol on my fingers like 3 times and that made the cut burn very badly. He also kept pressing the cut with his nail to make a dent in my skin to file the side of my nail. It was very painful. I got the pink gel nails, and the ultra light burned my my nails SO bad. He didn't take his time & do one layer at a time, he only did one really thick layer of gel, and that's why the ultra light burned my nails so much. After my nails were "finished" I went to go wash my hands, and I went to go tell the man who did my nails that my nails felt sticky, but he was already outside FaceTiming someone ( as seen in the picture ). So I asked the owner ( the "nice" woman who did my nails the previous time ) if she could just put a clear top coat on to make it look shiny, and not sticky. She said to "just wash my hands and rub the towel on them very hard to make them shiny". I tried that and it didn't work. It would have taken not even 2 minutes to put a top coat on.. it wasn't even busy, so there is no excuse. $45 for these nails? Not worth it at ALL. won't be returning. & I recommend not even wasting your time here. read more

I went in for a pedicure and manicure. They did an awesome job on my pedicure but my manicure was terrible they took my polish off, clipped my cuticles, and slapped lotion on my arms while my nails were wet! The lady hit my thumb nail with her arm and acted like it was a hassle for her to fix it. Worst manicure ever! I was still charged full price! read more

I started going to Cindy because she does gel overlay, she made me feel uncomfortable, she definitely didn't treat me like she did her regular clients. This salon should be called nail dungeon. Although the prices were reasonable for a gel mani- the customer service and interaction between the staff were subpar. The tech which I had was brassy and did a mediocre job. Upon completion of the service- if that is what I can call it, I decided to wash my hands. It wasn't until I told her I was going to wash my hands that she mentioned the option for the after care oil. Most places this is standard not optional. I usually tip well but in this case I resented the $1 I did leave. A tip is a reflection of the service rendered. read more

This place is terrible. I wish I could give fewer stars. They try to upsell you the minute you walk in. Then if you don't want their upgraded service they do a terrible job. DISGUSTING! DISGUSTING! DISGUSTING! I had tried them when I first moved here and never went back. I couldn't remember why. Went there again on the recommendation of a neighbor and now I know why I will never go back again. They do make you feel like they are being bothered while they are taking care of you. They don't go through the trouble of getting all the old polish off of your nails. When the girl got done clipping my nails (pedicure), she lifted up the towel where the nail clippings were and threw them into the water where my feet were soaking!!!!! Are you kidding me! I have been getting pedicures for many years and I have NEVER EVER had that done ever. I should have walked out the minute that happened. When I was done and left, all three salonists were sitting in the large spa chairs for the customers and they were all hooked into their tablets. As I walked out the front door, I couldn't help notice how dirty, the glass and the windows were and thought maybe they should put their time to better use. I have been going here on and off for the last 10 years. The last time I went will be my last as it isn't what I remember it to be. First, I haven't been to tons of nail salons but this one feels dirty...like they don't clean their tools. The last two times I got gel manicure- the first, a man did it and it was horrible. The second time it didn't even last a week before it was lifting off the nail. My friend made a comment the last time we went that her gel polish seemed like it was thinned out (probably to save $$$ as they'll change you extra if you ask for more coats than the two they give you).
