Today I returned for a Traditional Mani/Pedi for myself and scheduled a gel spa pedicure for my daughter. Marsella is meticulous and does an excellent mani pedi. She pays attention to every detail and is clean and neat. My feet and hands now look & feel amazing. She is bubbly and entertaining. Love her. My daughter is only 11 and was treated like the princess she is today while getting her gel pedicure for the 1st time. Very kind people work here that care about what they do. Jenny & Micah are such a joy to talk to. I will definitely return again as a regular client for the mani/pedi service. The best so far in this area of NW Raleigh. read more

I stopped in here after driving over to Lux Nails on Creedmoor, just to find a sign in their window saying "closed for renovations". Ugh. Lux was highly recommended to me, but I have an event to go to this coming weekend that is black tie, so I had to find someplace soon! Walked into Valencia and two employees were sitting and chatting - the lady, matriarch/owner I think?, asked what I wanted done. I told her a pedicure and powder/dip, please. She looked at the other employee and said, "Well, I've got to get to work." Ummm, yes, please? It was 10:30 am. She did my pedicure first, asking which level of pedicure I wanted - I chose the second tier. I noticed on the brochure that they offer one complimentary beverage - I was at this establishment for two hours, never offered me a drink. Hmmm. The pedicure was done quite well, she was mildly rough on my feet, but the nails turned out great. She never spoke to me and was just rather unfriendly overall. I don't need to be best friends but at least be pleasant. Geez. I picked the color for my powder/dip. I've never had this done, it's very cool and really interesting - love that there are zero chemicals and no light, etc. She did the first three coats and then left me to go do another customers eyebrows. I thought that was odd as there were two other employees roaming around - one was watching videos on his phone, with the volume way up. Really unprofessional. She came back over to me, squirted cuticle oil/lotion all over my hands and told me to rub them together - I did and it smudged a nail. I showed her and she seemed frustrated that I smudged the nail, but she told me to rub the lotion! Anyway, nails finally done and I was glad to leave. Under fifteen words spoken to me, no drink offered and no pleasantries. Just an ok dip - see the pictures, a little messy? $78 before tip, very pricey for subpar job and just zero kindness toward a paying customer. One and done. I got my nails done for a Diamonds and Denim event, so that's good but I'll go to Lux next time! read more

Beautiful, very clean nail salon. Super friendly staff. I was a walk-in at 11:30am on a Saturday. Granted it's still winter and not pedi season. I was greeted and seated immediately and offered a beverage. I opted for one of the more expensive spa pedis because it's been a while and my feet needed work. The nail technician was awesome and did a great job. I will definitely be back. read more

I had a pedicure and my toes were cut multiple times. 24 hours later and they are red and hurt on four toes. the actual pedicure I yelled owww twice and the massage and paint job was pathetic. will not return and suggest you go to any one of the other nail places within 2 miles. read more

I am so glad the first salon I stopped at was too busy to fit me in, and that Sabrina had the time to fit me in. This salon was clean, and had quite lovely decor. It's nice and bright in the salon, with nice water features. I was greeted promptly and taken to her station where she was patient with me as I showed multiple Pinterest photos trying to figure out what I wanted. She took all I asked for from the different inspiration I had and gave me a beautiful design. Everything from her perfect ombré to placing the jewels better than I would have asked her to. You could tell Sabrina knew what she was doing. They weren't too thick or thin and she made them the ideal length for me. I usually have such trouble sitting through filing and she made it less irritating and offered me wine while I sat and watched her work. For such detailed work it didn't take her long. She was kind and talked to me but also gave me my space when I wasn't up for chatting. I highly recommend this salon for your manicure and pedicure needs. The parking lot was also safe and if ever have extra time while grocery shopping next door, pop into Valencia. I know I will be sure to go back when I need a new set. Thanks Sabrina! read more

I got the worst dip nails of my life. The manicurist had earbuds in the entire time, used a nail file that had pink around the edges that got all over my fingers and in the dip. When my previous color wouldn't come off all the way, she told me that I needed to find a different color because the one I picked was too light. Instead of trying to get it off, she cut down my nails so I required tips. She left nail glue all over my fingers, my nails are uneven and bumpy. I tried to correct her numerous times and eventually I just got tired of it. My nails have never looked worse and I just wasted $52. I definitely didn't tip her and I will never be going back. Now I'm going to spend my night filing down my nails so they at least have a similar shape. Please do not go here, you will regret it. read more

This nail salon is a true gem! I've come here the last two times I've had my nails done and the work they do is truly amazing. The work is very detailed and meticulous and they truly take their time to give you exactly what you want. Yesterday I received nail extensions and dip powder which are both time consuming efforts. Instead of rushing through as quickly as possible, my technician worked with me to give me exactly what I asked for and made sure to shine them for me as I was leaving. I got a pretty sub par gel manicure here. The color probably needed three coats, but the manicurist stopped at 2 so it just didn't turn out as well as I hoped. Also when I was checking out, the man told me that gel manicures were 41 dollars despite it clearly saying 35 on their website. They also charge a fee to use a credit card? which wasn't even mentioned until they had already ran my card. Overall, not the worst thing in the world but won't be back read more

No no no. The tech probably did my whole manicure in 10 minutes. Didn't offer anything to drink. Didn't massage my hands. Missed nearly half of each nail when painting. I've never experienced a manicure this bad. It would be funny if I didn't waste $20 on it. read more

Beautiful salon located in North Raleigh. I started patronizing this location because it is convenient to my part time job. The salon is so decorated so beautifully and makes you feel comfortable from the time you walk in the door. I have received services from several different employees and was pleased with all of them. I don't know if it is the time of day because I have been at several different times but I have never had to wait to receive services. The work in a very timely manner putting the customer as their first priority which is a big issue for me when receiving services. I am always offered a drink whether wine, soda or water. The staff is always friendly and they always have a smile on their face when providing services. read more
